A must-visit! I honestly believed that this place would romanticize the criminals who wore suits and demanded respect out of fear ... sort of like The Godfather or Goodfellas. But that was certainly not the case. Rather, this museum presents the facts and artifacts. I love museums that explain and display the history. When there are actual pieces of said history, it's even better. Be it Al Capone's pistol or Bugsy Siegal's sunglasses, it's here (along with a ton of additional artifacts). You could easily spend three hours here, and every minute would be worth it.

Never met a museum we didn't like and The Mob museum delivers. Excellent docents wherever we found them roaming around. They even have a restaurant distillery in the basement. Al Capone would approve. Everything was immaculately clean! Easy parking in the area.

A late review from a valentines day celebration and education of the mob on the run. A free day for locals and an anniversary. Entering a speakeasy below behind closed pictures celebrating quietly. If you can find it. Enjoy the moments when no password is required and the door is unlocked in the midnight hour.

Had a great time exploring the museum. They have an excellent amount of historical pieces related to the mob, it was really impressive. It will take you some time to go through this, so make sure you have time. And don't miss out on the talk from a real life mobster.

We came here with large group late in the evening about an hour before closing. They did not have all the things they offer open. So our tour was a bit limited. We had a great time taking pictures and checking out the history of Vegas and the mob scene. We headed downstairs to the underground speakeasy for a nightcap and that was the best part.

Really unique and interesting museum about the Mob in what was a former courthouse. They have an audio self guided tour but my family opted out. They recommend you start on the 3rd floor and work your way down. I learned a lot about how the mob came to be and the different networks across America. There are several videos, the wall from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, an old electric chair you can sit in (with sound effects), displays of Tommy guns, and docents who will talk about some of the displays. There are also some gruesome pictures of murder victims in one of the exhibits as well but you can skip them by going out a different door. If you want a snack, the 2nd floor has a coffee shop that also sells pastries. The basement houses a speakeasy bar called "The Underground" that offers distillery tastings. There's a door in the back with the sliding viewer thing like you see on TV when they ask you for the password. Haha There's a lot to see here, we spent over 2 hours here. Parking is $8. Handicap lift available to go up to the museum entrance.

Family came to town and wanted to go to the mob museum. Ive been here once before around 9 years ago and this place has changed a lot. The place is ok if its your first time but if you go a second time to me it was like a boring school field trip, lots lots of worker trying to guide you and talk to you about the stuff that's there. I like more of a museum to look and read stuff. I don't think I'll ever make a third trip back here.

We booked a lot of things to do when in Vegas for Thanksgiving and this place ranks as one, if not the best, experiences we had. I do recommend getting there early because there is a lot to look at and the less crowded the easier it is to do. There is a big parking lot but it was full when we left a few hours later. They have a huge collection on multiple floors plus the speakeasy basement with detailed exhibits showing tons of memorabilia, photos, video, audio etc. You won't be bored! I paid additional for the audio tour, I don't think it's necessary really, I only used mine half the time. I also paid for some of the "experiences". I did the Crime Scene lab one which was a ton of fun if you are into learning about fingerprints, bullet identification and autopsies like Dexter Morgan used to do. My husband did the Firearm Training Simulator and enjoyed it. The person teaching his experience (former police) was convinced my guy was military or police, wish I was there to see that conversation! We also did the Distillery Tasting and Randy talked us through prohibition while we sipped on their made in house moonshine. I bought a bottle of their Huckleberry, so yum! Lastly, kudos to all the staff! Everyone was so kind and genuinely happy to be there. And everything was very clean. That's a huge deal for me! I would love to go back and spend another day...if there was no one else there. The history of the building and what went on in this old courthouse is just so cool. Definitely worth the time and price to visit!

s a Las Vegas local, I appreciate that the Mob Museum offers a resident discount -- it makes the visit more accessible and worth considering. I recommend booking online ahead of time, though if you're trying to book multiple experiences in addition to general admission, the process can feel a bit cumbersome and not very streamlined. That said, I highly recommend purchasing the interactive experiences. Those are what make the visit feel worth it, especially if you've already been inside the museum once. While the exhibits themselves are interesting and well done, I'm not sure how often I'd return without the added experiences. I enjoyed the interactive components overall. The crime lab was cool, but the standout for me was the firearm simulator training -- it was unique, eye-opening, and not something you encounter at most museums. That experience alone made the visit feel special. I also love learning about the history of criminal activity in Las Vegas and beyond, and the museum does a great job presenting that information in an engaging way. It's educational, immersive, and a fun way to spend a few hours. One downside is that there are moments where it feels like the museum is trying to nickel-and-dime you. Between paid photo opportunities and add-on experiences, the extra costs add up quickly and can feel excessive. Overall, it's a great experience -- especially with the interactive add-ons -- just be prepared for some extra spending along the way.

We randomly found this place when I came to visit my friend when she first moved to Las Vegas. She immediately got an annual pass for her family because we had so much fun and we were there for hours and didn't see nearly half as much as we could have. There were various activities and it turns out, my niece would make an awesome CSI detective. None of us had any idea of how integral and interconnected the mob was in almost every facet of life back in the 1920s - especially when it comes to the creation and foundation of Las Vegas.

AWARENESS: While in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, my friends and I decided to visit the Mob Museum since we all had heard so much about it. NARRATIVE: The Museum is located near the Fremont area of Las Vegas, inside of an old Post Office building. Once you enter the building, you'll be directed to one of three windows to pay for your admission. If you are a military member, veteran or first responder, be sure to ask about a discount. After your ticket purchase, you'll be given an armband and directed to take either the elevators or stairs to the 3rd floor to start your tour which are with narrated or do it yourself. Both have different cost. Each floor offers Mob history with pictures, story-boards, short films and one spot has an actual Mod informed who gives a long talk about his time and history in the Mob. Overall, this was bucket list item I was glad to check off. I'm glad this place exsist. SCENE: The Mob Museum is located on Stewart Avenue, about two blocks from the Fremont Street Experience. RECOMMENDATION(S): Highly recommend!

The one day event was promoted as a free entry for locals. February 14th. A day that marked their 14th anniversary. On Valentines Day. And the two types of stories people enjoy most. Are mob stories made in Vegas. And a love story found in paradox. The way February 14 is matched with love & massacre. A fitting type of harmony. Just as this mob museum was previously the original courthouse of las vegas. You might call that the bittersweet justication of justice. One that applies to both sides of the natural law of human nature. Perhaps exemplified by the 14th amendment, Declaring all citizens are granted equal protection of the law. But when the 18th amendment began prohibiting peoples rights. It was the underground system that provided for the people. When the law took away the happy hour. The mob provided a place of speakeasy. A theme that continues in the recent museum event. People of reformed mobsters who are currently working policemen. Former federal agents now working in the underground speakeasy. Serving Prohibition style cocktails.

    Rebecca G.

It was informative, interesting. The courtroom was my favorite part plus taking the mug shot lol. Staff were entertaining and well trained. Parking is available for $8 which isn't horrible for Vegas. We didn't get a drink in the speakeasy but did go in.

It's easy to walk through and not overwhelming at all. We went last Friday and it wasn't crowded which made it even more enjoyable for our 3 year old son. He especially enjoyed coloring his own mythical creatures, scanning them, and then watching them come to life on the big screen. We also loved the star raindrops exhibit and seeing all the impressive colors. It took us about two hours and we could have easily stayed longer. We enjoyed a beverage at the Arte Cafe towards the end of our experience, which was fun and interactive. Our son loved drinking his chocolate milk while watching the balloon in his drink. It was so cute. The staff were very friendly, well-organized, and helpful. They advised us that if we want to pay extra for the Arte Cafe that it's best to buy it at the main entrance of the museum for $5 per person rather than at the cafe which was $7 per person. A few things I would recommend: - Use a Groupon deal if possible. We paid $48.99 per person for NV residents. Our son was free since he's only 3 years old. - There's valet parking at city center where there's an escalator that takes you directly to the entrance of the museum. It's $15 dollars for NV locals. - The only restroom at the museum is at the main entrance so be sure to use it before going through the exhibits. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy immersive art. We will be back for sure!

It happened to be right around sunset so were were able to see some of it with a bit of daylight and then as the sun went down...the magic happened. Like others have said, the venue is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is easily walkable, flat and accesable for those with mobility concerns. Overall, I am very glad we came to see it and it does not take much time to go through so that does help with parking. The lot is very small but with people coming and going, it was easy to get a spot. When we were done, we asked about the other location next to the parking lot and found out it was a special add on. We decided to go for it since it was starting a few minutes after our tour was done. I think it was worth the extra $17. The show is in another bone yard of signs that do not light up but an artist created a light show, with music that creates a unique experience. It was fun and a nice way to end the evening. On a different note...I was very impressed with the bougie restroom...not your typical Pota Potty...and yes I took a video. The facilites are located in a white trailer in the parking lot...It was lovely! Yes there is a fire place in the restroom! It was very clean and smelled lovely. It is not handicap accesable tho. Overall, I think the Neon Museum is a nice way to spend the evening and given the price of most things in Vegas, it is fair.

Fast forward to now, and I've been to the OG House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe twice, Omega Mart twice, Radio Tave in Houston, Convergence Station in Denver, and I look forward to checking out the Grapevine Tx and LA locations. So, all that to say, I'm a fan! And so far, Omega Mart has been my favorite. I absolutely love the grocery store and all the humorous products in front, and I fully enjoyed all the areas to explore through the soda fridge portal (and other ways back). I like the art installations and various rooms at this location, y'all there's a Laser harp... I mean, come on! That's cool. It shocks me that this location has a 3.6 rating, however it is likely the most visited Meow Wolf of all the locations due to being in Vegas, and not everyone is going to "get it". It has reached the tipping point. The funniest reviews to me are the ones where people said they were bored, like right away. How?! There's quite a bit of content to absorb and so many details, many of them hilarious. My senses are definitely tapped into, in the best way, at Meow Wolf and I appreciate that. After all, as Dorothy Parker said "The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity." Coming to any Meow Wolf with the intention to explore is by far the best way to approach it IMHO. There are generally storylines that can be followed at each location but I like to wander and see what I see. Thanks Meow Wolf for building & making such cool spaces for people to love it or hate it. But either way it's an interesting place of art and a welcomed break from the mundane way of seeing reality. I have no doubt I'll be back to Omega Mart next time I'm in LV. Maybe next time I will get a boop card and follow the storyline to experience the space differently than before. Plus, there's a speakeasy bar called Datamosh that I missed the times I was there, so I'll look again and stop in for a drink for sure since I loved the interdimensional honky-tonk dive bar hidden inside the Meow Wolf Houston, Cowboix Hevvven.

Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. Very budget friendly. And from a previous review I read on Yelp, you can also find discounts directly on their website. You'll exit at the gift sho

We went on 11/21/25 around 3pm. If you want to see everything and take your time, a full 60mins is required. It's $35 but you can get 15% off when you book online. Red, the manager on duty, told us about the discount, which was nice. We booked online while on site. From the moment we got there everyone was super nice and helpful. We were rushing out and could not enjoy the entire museum because we had an expensive show we booked that we couldn't be late for and had to leave halfway through the paradox rooms. I cannot remember the young ladies name in all black, but she noticed I was rushing through, asked my friend why, she told her, then instead of just moving on, she went to extra mile to ask her supervisor on duty Red, if it was ok that we came back after our show so we can enjoy the experience. Red agreed. That to me was top tier service. Pure unprovoked great service. She noticed something was up, took it upon herself to make the experience better. Something happened after the show and we were not able to return, however I'm writing this review to highlight this team. There were about 5 team members there at the time, all helpful, extremely nice, and very happy to do their jobs which is rare. I highly recommend this place if not for something cute to pass the time, but to support this business because they have great people in place. Thanks again to Red and the team on site that took pics for us and offered us to walkthrough again at no additional charge because we ran out of time. Much appreciated. I hope this review reaches them. I'll be sure to post this on google as well.

There are lots of interactive exhibits, old equipment, videos, and real historical artifacts. Learning about the atomic testing era and seeing how close the tests were to Vegas was fascinating. The museum is clean, well organized, and easy to explore at your own pace. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable too. The only downside is the ticket price felt expensive -- I honestly wish they charged a little less so that everyone could afford to experience and learn from this unique museum. Still, it's a very educational and worthwhile visit if you enjoy history, science, or museums.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well the exhibits were set up and how much history is packed into one place. The museum does an excellent job explaining the science and history behind nuclear testing and the Manhattan Project in a way that was engaging for adults and older kids alike. We especially enjoyed seeing the historical artifacts, models, and detailed displays that brought such an important part of American history to life. The museum was clean, well organized, and easy to walk through at our own pace, and there were plenty of interesting things to see that sparked conversations among all of us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even spent extra time exploring the exhibits because there was so much to take in. Overall it was a fun, educational outing, and we definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a little different to do in Las Vegas. A great mix of science, history, and fascinating facts that left us all talking about what we learned long after we left!
