What a cool way to spend some time doing something different. Initially we were gonna head to Museum of Illusions. Then, looking outta our window- I saw Paradox Museum! Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. We had so much fun here! It costs $35 a person but the photo opportunities are worth it! You go through several rooms and experience different optical illusions! We had a blast! The employees were awesome. We arrived at 7pm not realizing they closed at 8pm (no late hours in Vegas!) but they advised us they recommend 1.5 hours to go through but we could still go in if we wanted knowing we just had an hour. It was our last night so we chose to go. They wound up letting us meander a little after 8pm and even gave us a couple of minutes to buy some souvenirs in the gift shop! Thank you Paradox folx! My friends and I spent maybe an hour at this exhibit. Tons of cool places to take photos. The people who work here were helpful and helped us take some of our photos. It's definitely worth your money and time. It's about $30, which is about $10 less than similar venues. I recommend visiting if you are in the Vegas area. read more

This was cute. But I'm writing a review primarily for the amazing team/staff working here. You will not find a nicer, more helpful, A+ customer service group in Vegas. We went on 11/21/25 around 3pm. If you want to see everything and take your time, a full 60mins is required. It's $35 but you can get 15% off when you book online. Red, the manager on duty, told us about the discount, which was nice. We booked online while on site. From the moment we got there everyone was super nice and helpful. We were rushing out and could not enjoy the entire museum because we had an expensive show we booked that we couldn't be late for and had to leave halfway through the paradox rooms. I cannot remember the young ladies name in all black, but she noticed I was rushing through, asked my friend why, she told her, then instead of just moving on, she went to extra mile to ask her supervisor on duty Red, if it was ok that we came back after our show so we can enjoy the experience. Red agreed. That to me was top tier service. Pure unprovoked great service. She noticed something was up, took it upon herself to make the experience better. Something happened after the show and we were not able to return, however I'm writing this review to highlight this team. There were about 5 team members there at the time, all helpful, extremely nice, and very happy to do their jobs which is rare. I highly recommend this place if not for something cute to pass the time, but to support this business because they have great people in place. Thanks again to Red and the team on site that took pics for us and offered us to walkthrough again at no additional charge because we ran out of time. Much appreciated. We had a blast!! One of the more interesting things we have done in Las Vegas. As three adults, it was perfect for us to wander and read each exhibit. I'm not sure how much patience my young grandsons would have as we figured out each exhibit. Pictures are a must. There are cameras on the floor to help you to know where to take pictures from. After calling this business, The Paradox Museum refused to give my friends and I a refund after an inconvenience they caused us. We paid for 3 tickets but did not receive a service. My poor friend who was on crutches for this trip struggled to make her way around the strip with the morning NYE crowds. It took us over 2 hours to get transportation and find our way around a city we have never been to before; but we were really excited to get to the museum. Upon arriving at 2:56pm (when the photo was taken) we were greeted with closed doors and a small note. Where is the professionalism? This should have been mentioned upon booking. We did not receive any emails and there was nothing on their website indicating they would close early for New Year's Eve. The funny thing is the website still allowed for you to book tickets for that day even though they were already closed. Truly disappointing behavior from the Paradox Museum. read more

The interactive exhibits were fun but we did witness some unprofessionalism from a staff. Staff were bouncing around at different stations so had to keep flagging one down to get a photo of us. One of the staff was super impatient and walked away while we were still trying to get into a difficult position. This same person we saw earlier was yelling at some of the children not to touch certain things. There were too many kids running around without parental supervision so it was a zoo. I rarely leave negative review, but our experience with the front desk staff--specifically a girl named Avery--was absolutely unacceptable and needs to be addressed by management. We visited after seeing a fun post on Instagram, excited to bring our two toddlers. While my friend's young son (3 and half years old) barely touched the sphere installation, Avery immediately yelled at him in an aggressive and completely inappropriate tone. Minutes later, as I was in the process of purchasing tickets directly in front of the screen, she shouted at us again! She stated the toddler is "smacking the tv" which he absolutely weren't doing. Her behavior was unnecessarily hostile, especially toward families with young children. When I calmly asked to speak with a manager, she snapped that there was no manager on duty. Frankly, that explains a lot. It seems she feels free to treat paying customers however she wants without supervision. I urge the management team to review the security footage from our visit. No staff member should behave this way, especially not toward children or guests spending their hard-earned money. Avery's attitude was mean-spirited, unprofessional, and completely out of line. If this is the face of your front desk, you're going to lose a lot of business. We left and not coming back! This employee should not be in a customer-facing role--period. read more

Is it reality or an optical illusion? [Las Vegas NV] We purchased a Groupon deal for this attraction. It's very different from the Museum of Illusions or the Museum of Selfies. Paradox Museum is a combined art and science interactive exhibit experience. Most of the exhibits required two people to appear and play tricks on your eyes. One member of the staff was helpful in taking our photos (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name). My favorite are the optical paradoxes. When the exhibit is best taken with two people on the photo she was nice to snap them for us and even suggests how we should pose. Many of the exhibits are intentionally designed for photography. We were able to capture some surreal and mind-bending photos and videos. Another favorite of ours was the Paradox Sofa... it gave the impression that someone's body has gone to pieces LoL The museum is a one-of-a-kind experience and we found it fun and enjoyable all the while leaving us questioning... "how did they do that?" They provide lockers to store your personal items free of charge (optional). Located next to Burlington Coat Factory and Ross on the Strip (just across the street from New York New York Hotel and Casino). The museum is on the 2nd level. This was a fun way to spend about an hour and a half. You're basically going into rooms that have different optical illusions. Then taking a bunch of pictures of each other. But it was actually really fun and interesting. One of the illusions is a series of cut up mirrors where you can combine your face with another person. I was with my daughter and granddaughter, and it was really interesting. Seeing what our faces looked like combined. Some of the illusions it was really hard to get a good picture. Cool! Fun! An experience that will leave you feeling like your surroundings are being warped and senses tricked. You know those brain teasers, lines looking longer than one another because of the direction of the arrow heads and their thickness? Or the brain imaging images that aren't there because it is trying to reason an image? Intensify that into walk through rooms that will leave you totally intrigued. From a tunnel that will leave you feeling like you're gonna fall over to a maze that might have you slamming into a wall or a sofa that seems to split your body into two. This is not an experience to be had hammered. Better still, want to know why the mind is tricked? Well written cards explain what you're seeing and why with QR codes for even more detail. I bought a ticket for the Paradox Museum when they had a presale through Facebook. Today was the day I had booked. Finding the museum was easy. As I walked across the bridge from Park MGM over the Boulevard, I saw their sign. I checked in with the QR code I had saved on my phone. From there, it was very enjoyable to see all the tricks played on us by our minds. Do we really see what we see? The museum is full of optical illusions and other sight phenomena. I would recommend going with several people so you can take full advantage of taking photos. Being by myself, the staff offered to take photos several times. They were polite and quite helpful. Some of the visitors offered to take photos, too, as I did for them also. It's that kind of experience and camaraderie. There are videos in several places to show you how to take your own photos when you're with other people. They are quite helpful. The youngsters who were there were having a great time. Each one of the paradox items you come to has a description with explanation and there's a QR code for more information. The layout is very friendly--well except for the tunnel--and navigating the rooms is easy. If you have a problem, the staff will aid you. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I went. I wish I had convinced a friend to go. Maybe I need a second visit. Keep in mind that mirrors can lie. read more

Sometimes you are looking for something to do that won't entirely break the bank and with kids, it does not always seem like you have a lot of options. I have a 10 year old and it's hard getting him off of Minecraft during the summer, and my friend from CA has a 10 and 7 year old in the same position. So when we found the Paradox Museum we only hoped it was as great as it seemed. Browsing the net you find some weird "sale" prices that are actually more than the actual cost but I somehow found a link directly from PM with a summer special offer which was perfect for my friend. They did not have anything special for NV residents so I just ordered directly from the site for that. It did say that they would check verification of residency but they didn't. We went to breakfast at NYNY so it was easy to just park there, cross the street to Park MGM and go over the ped bridge and go to the left. It's tiny or you'll miss it but look for an entrance with two escalators and a green sign. At the top we checked in by giving our names at the desk. We had cups of water from breakfast that they actually allowed us to bring in but other than that they don't normally let food or drinks in. The museum is a one way flow, which is nice because it keeps you from moving against people. That being said, they old is if you miss something at the end you could re-enter if needed. It was nice knowing this because shortly afterward a larger group was breathing down our neck and we felt a little rushed. Other than that though the hands on experiences are nicely spaced out. They said there would be camera images where to best stand for pics but some were not really there so we took our best guess. On the walk are explanations of each exhibit as well as quick video tutorials on how to "set up" your pic. There are some employees in QR patterned jumpsuits; some were more helpful and just jumped in to help explain things while others kind of stood back and we reached out if we needed them. There is truly a wide variety of things to manipulate, walk in, go over, under, through. Be forewarned if you aren't great with dizziness or vertigo or spinning (think the arctic tunnel at Universal Studios or patterns that trick you into feeling movement) to just take caution. There are rails and walls and things needed in case you feel off kilter. I was worried we would go through it all too quick especially with the attention span of our boys but it had a lot! We went through the first time in an hour but like I said there were a few things we didn't get a chance to truly enjoy so we went back in. Don't forget to see the final illusion in the last stop shop for an awesome photo op! This was on the list and came in with family on a Saturday. It takes about 1-2 hours if you're not rushed. Mother-in-law was getting kinda antsy so was hurried and couldn't go through each exhibit but still took lotsa photos. Feel kinda stupid that most pics are simply flipped upside down on your phone to give the illusion, but still they come out great, and the employees guide you all the way and are happy to take pics. Thank you Avery you were great! Lockers with pin combo stores all your shit at the beginning, so that's a relief. Maybe I missed free parking somewhere, but parking was a bitch and costed more than 20 bucks in an open bizarre self-parking area in the narrow alley in the back, really pissed me off had to pay with a handicap placard. We didn't know what to expect,but and was glad we stopped to check it out. Locals get a discount by purchasing tickers online. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with getting some cool photos of us. I suggest if you at least have a party of 3, it is easier to do photos by yourself.
