Boom Town is located inside the Springs Preserve. The Springs Preserve is in Las Vegas off of the 95/Valley View exit. Parking is free in the Preserve.
Entry prices into the Spring Preserve vary from members, non-members, and local Nevada residence. My daughter and I stopped by the Springs Preserve on a Sunday morning, as soon as it opened at 9:00 A.M. Our entry into the Preserve was approximately $15.00 for 2, local Nevada resident.
Boom Town is right next to the Water Works. You can take the train from the Playground area to Boom Town. The train arrives every 20 minutes and it's approximately a 3 minute ride to Boom Town.
Boom Town is a recreated historical representation of Las Vegas that tells the story of the city from 1905 to 1920. You'll see a variety of railroad cottages, Train Depot, Arizona Club, Mercantile, Lincoln Hotel & Majestic Theatre, and the First State Bank!
While you're visiting Boom Town, you'll be able to go into the buildings and see what they looked like, fully immersing yourself into the experience. Our favorite spot was the Las Vegas Mercantile. You'll be able to see home furnishings, food, hardware, and other local provisions that were used back in 1920. Boom Town is a must visit if you're at the Springs Preserve! read more
