I stopped in for a late lunch. I had their version of a triple cheese burger along with an order of onion rings and a strawberry shake. Culver's need not worry about any competition here. The burger had to of been pressed down while frying as it was dry in the trio. Not a bad burger, just not good either. The onion rings could use a grease change in the vat. I found them underwhelming and little actual onion in the ring. Unfortunately the breading wasn't that good either. The strawberry shake was probably the best of the three but comparing it to others offered in today's market place I would put it at a 6. No reason to return unless I was out at 2am and needed to soak up some alcohol.

Affordable campus burger/diner joint. Reliable burger, fresh fries/onion rings made to order. Breakfast is greasy and good. Worth a trip after a night out or just because you're craving a comfy staple. I'm still lamenting the location move and the accompanying change in vibe but glad to see the food remains constant. Give this Lexington staple a go.

This was supposed to be the place. It is open 24 hrs. We just flew in for a funeral and looking for foods it is covered in oil. It is so greasy I can't eat it. I am so hungry and so so so disappointed

6/17/2019 I came here late on a Sunday evening and ordered a tolly ho and some chili cheese fries. Everything was delicious and hot. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for future meals. This is a great place especially if you want something more along the fast food chain type of meal like a burger and fries without the fast food taste. The food is prepped once your order is placed. It's usually ready within a few minutes. The staff is super friendly, and it's especially an essential place to eat when you realize you're starving at 3 am and you're not in the mood for Denny's or Waffle House. Overall, this place is great, give them a try;) 5/12/2016

My first stop in the Lexington area, since my drive took a little longer than expected. I arrived a lot later than I expected and I because I drove straight through I was pretty hungry. My friend lives out in the burbs where the options are pretty limited so we drove into the city pretty late to get a bite to eat. I got the Super-Ho, and went all out and got the chili-cheese fries with jalapenos. For a late Friday evening it was surprisingly quiet, which I wouldn't expect from late night place after the bars have closed. Got back in the car and took off, but I definitely regretted my choices here because the chili and cheese and jalapenos came back to haunt me not too long later.

Just a quick dive-type restaurant that caters to the college crowd. Open long hours to catch the late night crowds. While the omelet was good, I had ordered a veggie omelet with cheese and the left out the veggies Overall reminds me of Waffle House. In the back of the restaurant there are arcade games. Not much parking on the side building, some paid parking near.

Disgusting and awful. They were unsanitary and unorganized. We watched them touch food with the same gloves as the put down raw burger.

He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

For food, we had a mix at the table: fish, steak, and burgers. The fish was off. The texture was strange, almost like the skin had been left on even though it wasn't, and it had a fishy taste that just wasn't right. The burger, on the other hand, was very good and easily the best value of everything we tried. If I ever go back, that's probably what I'd order. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server clearly wasn't having a good day, didn't seem interested in us, and let our drinks sit empty long enough that we had to wave him down just to get refills. It really took away from the experience. I'd give the place another shot, but if the next visit ends up feeling like this one, it'll probably fall off my list of places to go.
