Super cute shop filled with all things anime and Japan... Not really my cup of matcha tea but was an absolute joy shopping here...truthfully I was hoping to find something and I circled around this super tiny shop but it was a bunch of plushies, stationaries, and a bunch of items not found in your typical shop. Prices are a bit steep though it's understandable as it's shipped from Japan, the items they have aren't just the usual Hello Kitty items but many other popular characters like Pokemon, and even Snoopy. What joy it is to shop here and see the various items they carry making me smile while missing Japan but with competing shops like Daiso and Miniso I do hope that they all understand this one is quite different and love that they bring in some unique items. Thank you! read more

I tell you people will hate to see me coming and the CU Next Tuesday who owns this place will also hate me and that's okay, I gave her a chance to make it right and she chose not to. SELLING FAKE Labubu!!!! Or I should say LAFUFU!! I knew better then to step foot into one of these cheap ass spots but I did just trying to get my sister in law a Christmas gift, the minute I bought it I had a feeling something was off and sure shit!! My gut was right! The QR code DID NOT go to the popmart website like suppose to. I went to get my money back and told her it was fake and she quite literally said nothing other than looking into thin air. But hey again that's okay! Cause In America it's illegal to have a store front a sell fake items!!! so you played yourself baby girl!! I'm reporting you to the better business bureau and can't wait to go back into galleria soon and see you no longer exist!! yours truly!! read more

My kid loves it. That's all I care about. It's the closest Hello Kitty option nearby. I really like it too, lots of Asian products.

I bought three Sonny Angel Mini Figure Charm Candy Store Series for myself and my friends thinking that they were legitimate. Upon opening, I realized they were counterfeits. It did not come in the signature blind bags, the material is different, the paintwork sloppy, stretchy strap is NOT translucent (it is opaque/solid-color), no official logo on the bottom left, etc. The price was too good to be true ($9.99 per box), but the packaging looked legitimate. All of them were counterfeits. I'm very disappointed in this and am going back to try to get a refund for this. read more

That one guy whose mom works there is RACIST, unprofessional, and rude! He treated my mom like trash when all she asked for was a refund for a broken sonny angel. She also asked when they'd be getting more in and he replied with "they come in when they come in." We'll never shop here again. The whole place is just bad energy. read more

Buyer beware! This place sells counterfeit Sonny Angels! They are not an authorized retailer. Bought a Sonny Angel and it wasn't in the wrapper upon unboxing. There are many flaws with the doll such as messy painting, discolorations, doll had so many imperfections and nicks on it, and just feels very cheap. The doll itself was also smaller than the authentic Sonny Angel. This made their credibility go down and I will not be coming back here. It's such a disappointment because we love this place. Also we tried to return and the young teen working advised they cannot refund and only do store credit which has an expiration of 1 month. I will be reporting them to BBB as well. read more

I made the same mistake and should've read the reviews first. Buyer beware: they don't offer refunds--only in-store credit--even if the product is unopened and was just purchased minutes earlier. They do have signs saying "no refunds," but they're very small, and honestly it feels intentional. read more

They sold my 10 year old a fake Labubu. And when we went back the same hour we bought it, they would not refund her money. My daughter was crying because all she wanted was her money back. They are knowingly selling fakes, and they are willing to let a 10 year old suffer instead of just making it right. All she wanted was her money back. But instead got stuck with a "store credit" and was forced to get random stuff she didn't want. What a greedy business and worst business practice ever. read more

Bought a Lububu doll here at this location last night turned out to be counterfeit...buyers beware!!

Cute, a little pricey, but that's okay because the stuff is directly from Japan. That tiny store has a LOT.

This store does have really cute merchandise but most of the stuff I find are knockoffs that are way over priced you can tell right away because the picture quality is really bad saw this keychain here at the store just buy your stuff at AliExpress they are literally getting their items there they were selling this same keychain for 10.00 and also charge a lot in taxes read more

Thank you Tokyo World for feeding my love of all things Japanese, kawaii, Pokemon, and Kpop. They always come through when I need to find a gift for someone for a birthday or Christmas or any kind of occasion, really. They also come through when I feel the need to impulse buy anything for myself. I needed a BTS poster for the concert I attended and they were one of the only places around that actually sell them. I have a friend who collects cute alpaca plushies and I know I can always find them here. The prices are a little high and the older staff isn't very friendly, but I love chatting with the younger ladies about our mutual likes. read more

yall don't go here if ur looking for sonny angels , save urself $9 if u dont wanna get scammed by a fake because all their sonnys are counterfeit now My sonny thankfully doesn't look too bad but upon close examination and comparison to the authentic ones yea ........ never again read more

i usually like this place, however they're blatantly selling fake sonny angels (and really bad fakes at that), and i think that's really scummy. they sell official sanrio merch, so you think they'd care enough to get official sonnys and just overcharge for them like everywhere else. honestly, it's made me mad enough that i'm probably just not going to come back. there's better places, just go to shanghai plaza; you'll end up saving money on more quality items. read more

I absolutely loved it here! I took my little cousin who's getting into anime his first time and he was very excited to see you all the Naruto stuff. I'm obsessed with this store! Very cute selection of items and the prices are also reasonable! Throughout all the times I've been there, the staff has always been very kind to me and informative! The only downside I have about this store is that it is quite small. It does tend to get a little crowded. Even though it suits the store, I do wish they could expand their space. Nonetheless, it is still an amazing store! Definitely recommend to anyone who is a fan of Japanese items! read more

Love Hello Kitty? Well you'll love this store that has a variety HK merchandise and other Sanrio characters too. Tokyo World is part of the Tokyo Discount chain. This new store is smaller but is stocked with the more popular Japanese imports like Green Tea Kit Kats! That made me happy! The location is on the lower level of the Galleria Mall near JCPenney. read more

Cute little store. Since there appears to not be any Sanrio stores anymore, I find myself here searching for those unique Hello Kitty items you can't find anyplace else for my Mom. When you look at the price tags, you feel like you're in Sanrio! Whoa nelly! lol! It's very tiny so when it gets busy, you can barely move around. The staff that works there are pretty nice as well. I'll shop frequently for those rare Hello Kitty items for Mom for sure. For those reading, just be warned about the high prices. I got Mom a small makeup bag for Christmas made out of a simple material and it set me back $16! But I'm not mad considering I'm only here maybe 2-4 times a year anyway. read more

nice variety of merchandise available. bought a couple wall scroll posters and a blanket that reminded me of my childhood. Would definitely buy more if I could. read more

This is probably my least favorite location in town- and the smallest, and consequently there is less selection/stock, yet the prices seemed a bit higher here. Majority of merchandise here seems to be stuffed animals, pillows, and the like. Snack selection and Hello Kitty merchandise was limited (no green tea Kit Kats, couldn't find a basic gift). Music was blasting, the lone employee present was rearranging shelving and did little to interact with customers. read more

I'm glad they have an anime store here since I love anime. Sadly it's mostly hello kitty and not anime. They have some pretty cute things and I love looking around. I gave it 3 stars because it's SO expensive. I bought a small cup for 15 dollars. Probably sold somewhere else for like 6 but I loved it. They have some Japanese snacks and other things. I try never to buy these expensive things but I always love looking. read more

I really hadn't expected to find a Japanese/Kawaii themed shop in Vegas so you can imagine my delight--such things are my favorite merch in the world! The shop itself is smaller than most Sanrio stores but it's clean and whoever makes the buying decisions is superb at their job. Most of these small theme stores where I'm from seem to be run by old people who haven't a clue about what's in or what's likely to sell. I can tell this merchandiser is very knowledgable however. It was the first time I walked into one of these and literally wanted everything they had. The service was okay as far as I can remember. They could be a little more friendly/customer service oriented but they were really young and I suppose not everyone can be congenial. I might be spoiled coming from the "aloha state" (or nation) but in any case, 4 stars for satisfaction with this visit. read more

Out of the three locations, this one is my least favorite. The store is awkwardly shaped and cramped - inside a mall, that's a really big downer since people wander in and out of stores. Lots of cute items and they all seemed to be the same price as the other stores, which was a plus. Was nervous about knocking something off a shelf as I navigate around items and people. Probably wouldn't go back unless I just happen to need something and was already at the Galleria. Does not seem like anything is 'unique' here - meaning I can stick to the other locations. read more

Awesome little shop full of all things kawaii. Just got my first Rilakkuma plushie here a few days ago and it's an authentic one! Very reasonably priced too for a rilakkuma since I know they can get pretty pricey online. Tons of kpop, hello kitty, rilakkuma, anime, and more. They also have a small section of Japanese drinks and snacks. read more

Tiny but this is a good store for times when you're not sure what to get someone for a gift. You'll end up deciding within time. I like the air fresheners & the rilakuma selection. Love this store, always stocked up with new items. love it. read more

One of the best stores in Las Vegas/Henderson area. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They love to help find what your looking for. Their selection is superb compared to other places. My wife and daughters always look forward to coming here when we visit Las Vegas. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for Sanrio items, Pokemon, plushies, anime toys/collectibles, K-Pop merch, Sword replicas, backpacks, asian snacks, etc. read more

I always go there to buy cute stationery or kpop merch. They only have some kpop groups but it's understandable since store is mostly focused on Japanese things. They have a huge variety of hello kitty merch and the staff is honestly so friendly and will talk to you about what you're buying so it's not awkward. They always have some music playing which makes the environment super comfortable. Some of their things can be expensive but I think it's fine. I hope they can get a more variety of kpop things or get more groups like Girls Generation, Gfriend, Red Velvet and more. Overall it's a very cute store and definitely would recommend buying some things from there. read more

Store looks good and certainly has a nice vibe to it. Most of the products seem genuine enough to me (things like plushies, candy, etc.). However I when I saw Japanese packs of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh I had to open those! They were sold rather cheaply which was a nice surprise but upon opening the packs it was clear that they cards were fakes. The "Japanese" Pokemon cards had the English backing... Fair warning to all if they're seeking genuine products from Japan! They might be fake! read more

The store is cute, but there's a big problem- a lot of the items are bootlegs. I have seen several figures and plushies here that I found out were bootlegs. Not everything is a counterfeit, so I don't think it's a matter of them doing it on purpose, I think they just don't do research on what they stock their shelves with. Be careful what you buy and do your research on the items. I hope in the future they crackdown on what they supply the store with. That aside, the rest of the store is ok. The staff is pretty nice, the items are things you can't get elsewhere in the mall. But I don't understand why half the store is dedicated to Hello Kitty because I never see anyone shopping on that side. Most people are interested in the anime and video game goodies, causing those aisles to be very crowded while the other half of the store is empty. I get Hello Kitty is a Japanese staple but it feels like wasted space, especially seeing how crowded the store gets. The prices are also ridiculously high, but that's to be expected with both licensed merchandise and mall prices. Overall, it's a cute store to pop into....but it's hard to stay for long with how crowded it gets and I'm constantly worried I'll accidently end up with a bootleg. You're better off getting your anime merch fix from an online retailer that's certified to only sell authentics. read more

This is another branch of the "Tokyo Discount" stores located elsewhere in Henderson/Vegas. I wonder if the name change is due to the mall's not wanting a "discount" store. This store is small compared to the "Discount" locations but interestingly has some merchandise that the other stores were either out of or didn't carry. Moral of the story, visit whatever location is near you because one store might have items that the others don't. Interestingly, this store puts Hello Kitty merchandise into Sanrio plastic bags, which the other stores didn't do. read more

They have the cutest items, good service ! But I much rather go to their Maryland location just for the fact this location is VERY small. Weirdly all their locations are small and cramped but this one is the most. Also they only have a small selection of items compared to the other stores they have. I suppose it's nice to check it out if you happen to be at the mall, but to drive for it not really. read more
