Super cute shop filled with all things anime and Japan... Not really my cup of matcha tea but was an absolute joy shopping here...truthfully I was hoping to find something and I circled around this super tiny shop but it was a bunch of plushies, stationaries, and a bunch of items not found in your typical shop. Prices are a bit steep though it's understandable as it's shipped from Japan, the items they have aren't just the usual Hello Kitty items but many other popular characters like Pokemon, and even Snoopy. What joy it is to shop here and see the various items they carry making me smile while missing Japan but with competing shops like Daiso and Miniso I do hope that they all understand this one is quite different and love that they bring in some unique items. I bought three Sonny Angel Mini Figure Charm Candy Store Series for myself and my friends thinking that they were legitimate. Upon opening, I realized they were counterfeits. It did not come in the signature blind bags, the material is different, the paintwork sloppy, stretchy strap is NOT translucent (it is opaque/solid-color), no official logo on the bottom left, etc. The price was too good to be true ($9.99 per box), but the packaging looked legitimate. All of them were counterfeits. I'm very disappointed in this and am going back to try to get a refund for this. read more

Buyer beware! This place sells counterfeit Sonny Angels! They are not an authorized retailer. Bought a Sonny Angel and it wasn't in the wrapper upon unboxing. There are many flaws with the doll such as messy painting, discolorations, doll had so many imperfections and nicks on it, and just feels very cheap. The doll itself was also smaller than the authentic Sonny Angel. This made their credibility go down and I will not be coming back here. It's such a disappointment because we love this place. Also we tried to return and the young teen working advised they cannot refund and only do store credit which has an expiration of 1 month. I will be reporting them to BBB as well. read more

They sold my 10 year old a fake Labubu. And when we went back the same hour we bought it, they would not refund her money. My daughter was crying because all she wanted was her money back. They are knowingly selling fakes, and they are willing to let a 10 year old suffer instead of just making it right. All she wanted was her money back. i usually like this place, however they're blatantly selling fake sonny angels (and really bad fakes at that), and i think that's really scummy. they sell official sanrio merch, so you think they'd care enough to get official sonnys and just overcharge for them like everywhere else. honestly, it's made me mad enough that i'm probably just not going to come back. there's better places, just go to shanghai plaza; you'll end up saving money on more quality items. read more

Thank you Tokyo World for feeding my love of all things Japanese, kawaii, Pokemon, and Kpop. They always come through when I need to find a gift for someone for a birthday or Christmas or any kind of occasion, really. They also come through when I feel the need to impulse buy anything for myself. I needed a BTS poster for the concert I attended and they were one of the only places around that actually sell them. I have a friend who collects cute alpaca plushies and I know I can always find them here. Cute little store. Since there appears to not be any Sanrio stores anymore, I find myself here searching for those unique Hello Kitty items you can't find anyplace else for my Mom. When you look at the price tags, you feel like you're in Sanrio! Whoa nelly! lol! It's very tiny so when it gets busy, you can barely move around. The staff that works there are pretty nice as well. I'll shop frequently for those rare Hello Kitty items for Mom for sure. For those reading, just be warned about the high prices. I got Mom a small makeup bag for Christmas made out of a simple material and it set me back $16! But I'm not mad considering I'm only here maybe 2-4 times a year anyway. read more

This is probably my least favorite location in town- and the smallest, and consequently there is less selection/stock, yet the prices seemed a bit higher here. Majority of merchandise here seems to be stuffed animals, pillows, and the like. Snack selection and Hello Kitty merchandise was limited (no green tea Kit Kats, couldn't find a basic gift). I really hadn't expected to find a Japanese/Kawaii themed shop in Vegas so you can imagine my delight--such things are my favorite merch in the world! The shop itself is smaller than most Sanrio stores but it's clean and whoever makes the buying decisions is superb at their job. Most of these small theme stores where I'm from seem to be run by old people who haven't a clue about what's in or what's likely to sell. I can tell this merchandiser is very knowledgable however. It was the first time I walked into one of these and literally wanted everything they had. The service was okay as far as I can remember. They could be a little more friendly/customer service oriented but they were really young and I suppose not everyone can be congenial. I might be spoiled coming from the "aloha state" (or nation) but in any case, 4 stars for satisfaction with this visit. read more

One of the best stores in Las Vegas/Henderson area. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They love to help find what your looking for. Their selection is superb compared to other places. My wife and daughters always look forward to coming here when we visit Las Vegas. I always go there to buy cute stationery or kpop merch. They only have some kpop groups but it's understandable since store is mostly focused on Japanese things. They have a huge variety of hello kitty merch and the staff is honestly so friendly and will talk to you about what you're buying so it's not awkward. They always have some music playing which makes the environment super comfortable. Some of their things can be expensive but I think it's fine. I hope they can get a more variety of kpop things or get more groups like Girls Generation, Gfriend, Red Velvet and more. Overall it's a very cute store and definitely would recommend buying some things from there. read more

Store looks good and certainly has a nice vibe to it. Most of the products seem genuine enough to me (things like plushies, candy, etc.). However I when I saw Japanese packs of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh I had to open those! They were sold rather cheaply which was a nice surprise but upon opening the packs it was clear that they cards were fakes. The "Japanese" Pokemon cards had the English backing... The store is cute, but there's a big problem- a lot of the items are bootlegs. I have seen several figures and plushies here that I found out were bootlegs. Not everything is a counterfeit, so I don't think it's a matter of them doing it on purpose, I think they just don't do research on what they stock their shelves with. Be careful what you buy and do your research on the items. I hope in the future they crackdown on what they supply the store with. That aside, the rest of the store is ok. The staff is pretty nice, the items are things you can't get elsewhere in the mall. But I don't understand why half the store is dedicated to Hello Kitty because I never see anyone shopping on that side. Most people are interested in the anime and video game goodies, causing those aisles to be very crowded while the other half of the store is empty. I get Hello Kitty is a Japanese staple but it feels like wasted space, especially seeing how crowded the store gets. The prices are also ridiculously high, but that's to be expected with both licensed merchandise and mall prices. Overall, it's a cute store to pop into....but it's hard to stay for long with how crowded it gets and I'm constantly worried I'll accidently end up with a bootleg. You're better off getting your anime merch fix from an online retailer that's certified to only sell authentics. read more

This is another branch of the "Tokyo Discount" stores located elsewhere in Henderson/Vegas. I wonder if the name change is due to the mall's not wanting a "discount" store. This store is small compared to the "Discount" locations but interestingly has some merchandise that the other stores were either out of or didn't carry. Moral of the story, visit whatever location is near you because one store might have items that the others don't. Interestingly, this store puts Hello Kitty merchandise into Sanrio plastic bags, which the other stores didn't do. read more

They have the cutest items, good service ! But I much rather go to their Maryland location just for the fact this location is VERY small. Weirdly all their locations are small and cramped but this one is the most. Also they only have a small selection of items compared to the other stores they have. i always walked passed this store whenever i'm at the mall but i finally decided to stop in, and wow there's a lot of things! i mostly went in with the intention to buy some BTS merch, so i got a bt21 koya notepad and a BTS small notebook as well, (the selection wasn't too big but i understood cause the store was mainly for Japanese products.)
