This was started by the Hershey's patriarch trying to prove a point to his kids - Ethel being his wife's name. And they make some pretty amazing, tasty versions of chocolate classics, with smooth truffles, a delicious self-made peanut butter, and sweet sticky pecan brittle. This is one of the few chocolates my family takes as a treat to ask for more of, but there's no local store close to me. Beautifully designed, bright colors sourced from natural ingredients still make for some truly beautiful treats. The little peanut-shaped peanut-butter dark/milk chocolates are my favorite with the port selection! They have a lot of alcohol-infused chocolates (signatures) and they have a lot of truffles, solid chocolate bars, and brittle.

The hot chocolate they serve in the colder months is delightful The lemon satin crème truffle is my absolute favorite along with their chocolate drizzled brittle. Effff that stuff is like crack! No lie, I can eat an entire box of that brittle in 2 days... Definitely check out their non-preservatives goodies. Made fresh, made local, made yummy!!!

My first visit to Theo's It's All Greek To Me was with two friends who highly recommended it, and…read morenow I completely understand why. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is thoughtfully decorated, spotless, and has a warm, welcoming feel that immediately makes you comfortable. The staff was exceptional--friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Our waters were never empty, our food arrived quickly, hot, and beautifully plated, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the Nico's Gyro with feta fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The gyro was packed with flavor, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the feta fries were the perfect indulgent side. One friend ordered the Theo Salad, which looked incredible, and another had the Souvlaki Platter. Everything that came to the table looked phenomenal, and the portions were impressively generous. You definitely get a lot of food for your money here. Beyond the food, I was also impressed by their beverage selection. While I didn't try any of the drinks this visit, they offer a variety of unique coffees, juices, and specialty beverages that looked fantastic. And then there were the desserts. Our server mentioned that many of them are imported, and they looked absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be making another trip back just to sample a few of them. It's hard to beat a family-owned restaurant that delivers on every level--fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an impressive selection of drinks and desserts. I live on the opposite side of Henderson, but Theo's is absolutely worth the drive. I'll definitely be back and will happily recommend it to friends and family. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered chicken, my colleague the "beef" but whats not mentioned (i ordered for her) is that its a beef and lamb combo. She absolutely didn't want lamb but ate it anyway because I didnt tell her and luckily she didn't notice. We both got halfway done and said we would have been happier with a gyro from the Great Greek or even a Port of Subs sandwich. The chicken was marinated in too much lemon it was overpowering and neither of us finished the gyros. I hate to give a negative review of a family-owned place but it wasn't for me, or my coworker who isn't anywhere as picky as I am.

Located in a small little shopping center, this place is definitely tucked away but super easy to find. Parking can be scarce so I would either recommend in getting there very early or a little bit later in the morning. When you open the door, the first thing you are greeted with is the pastry rack in front of you. I swear, I gained 10 lb. Just looking at it. So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. Really makes you feel at home and invited in to experience everything that they have. I opted for the tiramisu latte, and it was fantastic! Definitely had a perfect coffee flavor, and the terramisu flavoring was not overly sweet but actually was perfect. I had the bacon breakfast croissant with egg and it was wonderful. Perfectly balanced, the flavors were there, and the bacon was excellent! This is definitely one we are going to add for our go-to breakfast places when in Vegas. Super excited to try everything on the menu! Bottom line? If you have not gone to horizon shine, you are missing out. Top of your must-go places and I swear you will not be disappointed! You will probably see me there again! If so, feel free to buy me a pastry.

Banana Prepared with Nutella Bundtlet: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) has become one of my favorite…read moreguilty pleasures. I especially enjoy their individual sized "Bundtlets". One of their recent "popup" flavors for late spring was the brand-new Banana Prepared with Nutella available from 5/18-5/31/26 (extended at some locations). Opening the container, the cake itself had a yellow/golden color and a sweet aroma with hints of chocolate, hazelnut, and cream cheese. The official description was listed as "A banana cake filled with NUTELLA® and crowned with our signature cream cheese frosting, drizzled with NUTELLA® and adorned with a banana chip". As usual, the texture was superb, with one of the best aspects of their cakes being the exceptional moistness of them. As for the flavor of the cake, just like the previously released Banana Pudding cake, my taste buds only got a vanilla/generically sweet flavor from the cake. Trust me, from a guy that makes banana bread and pancakes, NBC's offering has zero banana flavor. While disappointing, I expected this because of my past experience. I still purchased this as I just wanted a Nutella Bundtlet. I've also come to an understanding with NBC's definition of "filled" regarding their Bundtlets, like my lowered expectations for the banana flavor, I knew what I was getting. Yes, technically the center is filled, but it is by no means stuffed with Nutella. I only got one big bite out of the center, but man was it worth it. Especially when combined with the dollop of cream cheese frosting. The amount of Nutella drizzled on the surface of the cake was much more adequate than the filling and provided plenty of chocolate hazelnut flavor. Lastly, the banana chip did not really contribute anything other than aesthetics as it's too small and gets overpowered by everything else going on. In short, this is Doughboy approved as a Nutella cake, but avoid if you're hoping for banana flavor or expect it to have a core completely stuffed with Nutella. I decided to pre order the 8" red velvet with a birthday topper that was an additional $10 sur charge. Total including the cake was $40. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. They also have cakes in various sizes and flavors ready to go. Decorations were very cute. The cake was super moist and the signature cream cheese frosting was delicious. I have to say I think it was one of the best red velvet cakes I've ever had. I've not tried any of the other favors yet, but will definitely try for other occasions and highly recommended.
