Christmas Chocolate Box
Lauren C.

A truly sweet local company offering gourmet chocolates and ice cream tacos. Everything from this company is delicious. I was first introduced to them in May. Their chocolates were part of a Mother's Day drawing Stefany V. entered me into and I won. The chocolates were not only beautiful pieces of art, but so delicious. The flavors were creative too. I started following them on Instagram and saw that they offer ice cream tacos and they have delivery! I placed an online order for the eight piece Christmas chocolate box and half a dozen ice cream tacos. I ordered on a Friday morning and they delivered everything on Saturday afternoon. That morning I received a text giving me a delivery window. There is a $50 minimum for delivery. I don't know if it varies, but my delivery fee was just $5. The Christmas chocolate box was beautiful and decadent. My favorites were the gingerbread chocolate and the one with bourbon. It arrived nicely packaged with a label detailing the chocolates in the box. Their boxes of chocolate would be a great gift. The ice cream tacos are like the more delicious version of what you remember from childhood. The waffle cone taco is delicious and all of the ice creams were very flavorful. The chocolate coating on top is yummy too. I love that each flavor has its own taco, ice cream, and chocolate to match the flavor. It's not just one ice cream in a variety of taco shells for example. Each taco was the perfect size to cut in half and share with my husband. My favorite taco was the Birthday Cake. This stopped me in my tracks. It was an omg delicious treat. I can also give my stamp of approval to Eggnog, Pumpkin Pie, Peppermint, and Mint Cookie Crumble. The Cookie Brownie Blast was good, but not my favorite. Follow them on Instagram to get the scoop on new flavors since they rotate. They also announce pop ups to purchase the ice cream tacos. Their chocolates are sold at Mothership Coffee too!

What a name. What a dessert. Happy Ending Chocolate is a local business that started out as a chocolatier, with a modest selection which they offer on their web site and also distribute to various cafes and stores in the area. More recently (reportedly Sept 2019), they started to produce chocolate-dipped ice cream tacos and now have a repertoire of upwards of 12 varieties (including seasonal, so be forewarned). They do sell 6-packs on their web site for $30 (w/ $5 for next-day home delivery to Las Vegas and Henderson), but it's obviously best for new customers to track down their pop-up events via Instagram (@happyendingchocolate, naturally) and order one taco to try. They also do private events such as "weddings, corporate events and brand activation." I happened to encounter their ice cream cart last night at one such event. I'd heard rave reviews from friends but never took the initiative to try any of their ice cream tacos, so this was a fortunate opportunity. Out of 4 available options, I went with the first flavor that struck my fancy: Peanut Butter Fudge. Perhaps I was subconsciously hoping for something decadent, and I got it in spades. The exterior was a dipped chocolate coating around a waffle "cone" taco. The interior was creamy, non-airy ice cream with a punch of PB and chocolate. I absolutely loved every bite. I'm equally glad that Happy Ending Chocolate has added a delicious dessert to a surprising dessert desert in this desert city (translation: we don't have enough good ice cream for a place with long, hot summers) and sad that it's not available daily and all over town. If you have a sweet tooth and you get the chance to try their ice cream tacos, do so without hesitation.

Gourmet ice cream tacos with premium quality ice cream and filling ingredients, a perfect taco shell that is solid enough to hold in the ice cream but also soft enough to bite, and preserved at a nice cool temperature that holds up against the Vegas heat. Snag these if you find them at any of the pop up locations including the Farmer's Market in Summerlin. The flavor of their ingredients are so high quality that I think they could even sell their ice cream on its own, it is so tasty!

I only know about this place due to visiting the Coffee Machine. I got a free Peanut butter cup ice cream taco for visiting. Let me tell you that these tacos are soooo addicting! They are by far the BEST Ice cream tacos I've ever had. Even the original Ice cream taco does not match up to these. Tacos are big and back up their size with even bigger flavor. I'm glad I got to try you guys and will be trying more later on. Thanks for sharing your goodies!

Gave a shot at a couple of the gelatos and ended up choosing them both in a cup. The blood orange is the best I have ever had. My Wife and Mother-in-law chose ice cream and received the same attentive treatment. I highly recommend making your way to this small but worth it shop and try it for yourself. I've been trying to explore more places on water street and glad I was able to find this hidden gem because I will definitely be back soon! This place is so cute painted in a beautiful pink color with sprinkles and their mascot is an elephant. The shop carries ice cream, gelato, sorbetto and other sweet treats. You can choose from having your ice cream in a cone, cup, or even make it a sundae or milkshake. I chose the butter pecan and crème brûlée double scoop in a cup. So yummy! The shop has plenty of flavors which means they have something for everybody. The staff is really nice and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are affordable and they have a loyalty rewards program/ stamp card so you are sure to return. Grab the family and head on down to world of scoopz. Enjoy!!!

As someone…read morewho's lactose intolerant, locating something that wouldn't wreck my stomach is always the mission and this place delivered. I was seriously tempted by the ube option even though it had whole milk, but the Vegas Rocky Road caught my eye. It is safe to say I was not disappointed. The marshmallows were plush and soft, and the almonds had that satisfying crunch I was hoping to get. Exactly what you would want in a rocky road. The service was quick and attentive as there was only one person in line. No seating inside, but honestly when it's this hot in Vegas, you're just probably happy to have a cold treat. Cool off with the AC blasting, grab a scoop, and enjoy how nice it is knowing it's like 95+ degrees outside.

Sometimes these newer, trending ice cream places are doing too much. I don't want saffron turmeric ginger lily floral ice cream. Sorry, Not Sorry is trying something new without losing touch of what ice cream is. The designer flavors are experimental without being something that crosses the line from sweet treat to culinary science project. My wife and I shared a flight with the seasonal Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee, and then milk and cereal and salted pistachio brittle. While our runner ups slightly differed, we both agreed milk and cereal was a clear first place. Great flavors, exciting rotations, and an ice cream I'll gladly come back to again.

Grabbed a smoothie which was three ingredients that cost almost $10 honestly, I would rather go to Whole Foods and pay five dollars for a smoothie or juice with way higher quality ingredients that's actually beneficial to your health. Didn't say a single word about the price was about to pay when the register lady looks at me like with an annoyed face and asks me if something's wrong and I said no I'm fine then she continues to press me after I said no with "oh well do you have an issue with the price "and I literally had said no words to this lady, but when she asked me that I said "I didn't mention anything about price but, I just think it's a little bit excessive" when you're charging the same amount for a drink as you guys do for a meal here that to be honest, wasn't worth it and have bad customer service. I will definitely not be back here and to some of the restaurants in that shopping center area I've been going for 10 years personally do not see this place being open that long though

Sometimes, things are a little too good to be true…read more Thick & Thin Treats is an AYYA Hospitality Group creation on Dean Martin near Cactus. I've tried them through Yelp stuff previously, and after hearing about their BOGO discount on juices on Monday, I vowed to stop by again. Today was the day. I came in and, after a bit of a hitch, got the employee on duty to ring me up for a BOGO, with a base price of $13.00. Half of that still sounds pretty high. Then I had a brief wait as she actually freshly squeezed/pressed my orders. Since it was totally empty aside from me, that didn't take long. The orange juice tasted like fresh squeezed orange juice. The fruit wasn't absolutely bursting with sugar, but I guess that's just natural variability. That said, I'm not sure why my apple juice seemed to have celery notes/texture in it? It also didn't seem to have the most intense sweetness which you can get on the apple continuum. Overall, both products today were good, but not on the level of the peak examples of juices I've ever had. Parking was not hard late in the afternoon, although it is a bit confusing as many of the nearby spots are marked for the restaurant instead of this business. The seating area was of course quiet, but still felt very pleasant to sit in if you feel the need. Maybe there's study spot potential since they have some coffee on the menu too. I will consider returning to Thick & Thin Treats for the BOGO juice Mondays or if I want to revisit their fresh ice cream blends eventually. It's a good place to try for healthy and tasty treats, but the flavor may vary the way fruits differ in ripeness and quality.
