Came in to check out the gourmet popcorn, Sydney was the one that helped us. She was a little timid and reserved, but she was kind and did everything we needed to be done. Popcorn was decent enough, not the best that I have had, but they have really good deals for the 3 cups of popcorn for $10 or you can get three holiday packs for $14 and then we got a bag of three dollar movie theater popcorn. They have all different kinds of flavors and the size of the popcorn bags is a small or large. I really couldn't tell that much of a difference between the small and large, but I opted for the large one since I knew I would be sharing with my family. They have sooo many different flavors but of course I was so excited to see that they had a pumpkin spice flavor! Not because I love pumpkin spice, but my husband does, so I decided to grab him a bag to surprise him with. It really did taste like pumpkin spice! And the price wasn't too bad. Usually I only eat popcorn when I watch a movie, but recently I've been thinking about having popcorn as a light snack. Then I found Popped, which can be found in a busy strip mall on Eastern and Serene. Their slogan is "a really cool popcorn spot". Yes, this popcorn spot is cool indeed! They have some amazing gourmet popcorn available for purchase that you cannot find anywhere else, and they even have Golden Knights and Raiders popcorn buckets! So awesome! I decided to stop by here after school and pick up a small bag to take back with me, and oh boy, I'm so happy that I discovered this spot! I walked in and was greeted instantly by a person working at the very back of the shop, followed by the cashier who took my order. They had lots of popcorn flavors to choose from, which can come in a cup, a small bag, or a large bag. I ordered a small bag of carnival kettle corn flavored popcorn, which ended up costing $6 plus tip. To me, I thought this was a sweet deal, seeing how much popcorn that I got in such a small bag. This kind of popcorn was so delicious that I just couldn't stop eating it. It had that sweet classic kettle corn taste to it and I feel like I'll probably finish it before the next movie that I will eventually watch. Ordered 4 bags of gourmet popcorn goodness for delivery from this LV popcorn purveyor. The Chi City mix flavor was spot on. Exactly the right amount of cheesiness to balance out the sweet caramel counterparts. I found myself returning to this classic the most. I also enjoyed the sweet and tangy PinkaDelic flavor. Pop rocks, Nerds and dried cranberries are never expected in popcorn but they work so well together here. Visually, the pink, rainbow speckled kernels are appealing on their own. The only minus is that the Pop Rocks no longer pop in your mouth, but that's expected due to the mixed coating process. The most disappointing flavor was the 505--I was intrigued by the unusual combo of hatch chilies and white chocolate. Unfortunately, there was no heat at all, and I literally found myself checking the bag repeatedly to make sure I was eating from the right one. I'm not a heavy spice fan, so there's no chance that it simply wasn't spicy enough for me--the batch that I received was all white chocolate sweetness, no spicy or bitter tang. In hindsight, suppose I shouldn't have been that surprised since hatch chilies are not on the ingredient list (must have tried to include those flavor profiles under "spices?"). The seasonal flavor, Lemon Tart, delivered just fine. It was a pleasant surprise to sample kernels that had a sweet lemon tang. That being said, it didn't have enough of a Wow factor for me to consider ordering again. Overall, Popped could improve the online customer shopping experience by offering smaller bag options. The 10 cup bags are a generous size for the price, but for smaller households and those who want to sample widely, it would be great to have the option of 5 or 3 cup bags. Located in Sansone Park Place shopping plaza, it's a bit out of the way of the Strip and in a fairly relaxed area with lots of parking. They don't have tables inside so much as couches for you to wait at? There were tables outside too, though they were taken inside because the weather is getting chillier, windier, and it was actually raining. People there were super friendly, and a random guy was super enthusiastic in recommending the La Familigia flavor (parmesan cheese, garlic, onion, and sweet basil) and encouraged us to get a bigger bag. He wasn't an employee, mind, just a person standing in front of us in line with one of the refillable buckets. XD The supporters are real here lol. Also, I would recommend checking out their seasonal flavors. Overall, would definitely recommend. Thanks to them, I finally understand why some fancy places serve flavored popcorn as appetizers. All the flavors we tried were delicious, they have a great setup, and it's genuinely such a great souvenir to bring back home to people (or sneak into theaters). The first time I tried the Popped popcorn was at a convention at the Caesars Forum. They had the individual packaged cups there as a snack for all to grab. I was a big fan of the dirty mix and also the buffalo ranch was really good too and those were the ones they had available to us and I was hooked. So on my most recent trip to Vegas I decided to pre-order some popcorn and pick it up on my drive up into town. They were fairly easy to find and they were down the street from this other food place I wanted to try. The store itself is a storefront in front but it looked like in the back is where all the magic happens and it smelled wonderful when I walked in. I ordered the Chicago mix, special Halloween in one with gummy worms and Oreo covered popcorn, and the hurricane popcorn. I have no doubt that all of their flavors are well thought out and amazing too. The bags that the popcorn comes in has the resealable top so it keeps things from going stale. I also like the different variety of sizes they have so I could opt for smaller sizes if I was unsure of how a flavor would turn out. I went with half gallon sizes but I definitely could have gone bigger for sure. I can't wait to try the other flavors I haven't tried. I will definitely be back next time! read more

I've been in a handful of times over the years and it's always great! My favorites are la famiglia (parmesan, garlic, onion, and sweet basil) and classic cheddar. Sometimes the sweet basil on the famiglia can be a little sweet for my taste, but this bag I have now is perfect!! When there's no line I'm usually in and out in about a minute because I always know what I want. They have a different special flavor for each month of the year. I get the half gallon bag which is I believe $6 for the more classic flavors and I believe that size jumps to $7 for the fun flavors. I love the popcorn, the price, and the speed. I've never done any custom orders or asked for anything not already on the shelf so I can't really speak to the customer service in that aspect, but everything else was great. read more

I found Popped on Yelp and I am so glad I did! My work threw me a baby shower and I wanted to get my coworkers something to say thank you. After flipping through Pinterest trying to think of a small, but cute DIY party favor, I decided to go with something tasty (I mean, isn't that better than just a card?) and easy (aka I didn't have to make anything) so that's when Popped comes into play. As a true yelper at heart, I checked out the reviews for all the flavors first and was sold by all of their five star reviews. I went to their website and saw that they can do custom labels for their popcorn containers. Just what I was looking for! I had them do a little baby shower thank you message for the labels and I picked out my flavors. I did smores, cheese caramel, and caramel almond. Now I had to pick the flavors blind since I was not able to get a sample in store (covid) but that was not a big deal to me. I ordered them on the website and was able to pick them up later that day with no extra charge. And the popcorn was a hit! I stopped in to buy some gourmet popcorn for tonight's New Year's Eve shows on TV with my family. Upon entering the business, I was greeted warmly by the owners. I asked some questions about some of their varieties I saw on the website. I called before coming in to inquire if the popcorn was gluten-free as my daughter has Celiac Disease and cannot have anything with gluten in it or touch it because her disease is severe. I chose Pink a'Delic- Nerds, pop rocks, chocolate & raspberries on top of a light caramel popcorn.(Description from Popped website). I cannot wait to try it tonight with my family. Was in the center and saw this popcorn place and literally reparked to come in. They had no samples nor would they let you sample anything. They had a few interesting flavors but nothing that stood out. They had a deal. I think it was 3 for $15? So we got 3 little containers. The cheddar caramel was just OK? It really didn't taste that fresh and I just tried the cheddar jalapeno. And the jalapeno just tastes like regular popcorn and doesn't taste that fresh either. My wife and I love this place, and although we don't come down to Henderson often, we always try to stop by when we are. The staff is super nice and pre-Covid they used to offer free samples which was super helpful of you're not sure what to get. I'm assuming they aren't doing samples now although I have no clue since we've only stopped by once since Covid started and we didn't ask for any samples. I can say that I've never had a bad flavor here though. They carry both sweet and savory flavors, as well as normal movie theater popcorn. My favorite is the matcha green tea and my wife loves the spicy buffalo flavor. They also have frozen popcorn, which is frozen using liquid nitrogen gas. It's pretty cool and novel if you've never had it but after having it twice I've never gotten it again. read more

I love that there are local businesses open for food takeout during this time and that this was one of them. I've enjoyed their popcorn in the past but decided it was a good idea to load up on popcorn for all the extra movies and lounging around we've been doing. I ordered online to be picked up and decided to go with the "popcorn quarantine package" which included a massive bag of delicious buttered popcorn(better than movie theater IMO), a kettle corn, caramel, caramel with chocolate drizzle and cheddar. The lady in the front barely said hello and offered no help when we came in although we told her it was our first time there. She made no recommendations and mumbled the 2 seconds she did speak. Literally there were no customers in there so you can't say you were busy. While it's just popcorn, be enthused about what you're selling and offer suggestions and/or help to your customers rather than heading to the back. Weird. I saw their Instagram but when I saw I could order thru Yelp I went ahead and did that. Upon arrival I was behind someone who was doing a walk in order but I was happy to see they have measures in place for safety. I ordered a special they had which included a Quarantine special of a variety of butter,kettle,caramel plus a sea salt chocolate. Also ordered a Pinkadelic which was my favorite but all of them were tasty and fresh without any teeth damage. What sent this deal over the top was the awesome service Francois and Zelma gave (sorry if spelling is off. If you virtually order be sure to electronically add tip because they are being very humble and also safe not accepting cash just requesting return business. Which I read about and virtually added my tip but still tried to leave a $5 and was just told the same thing someone else wrote that they just want to have return customers. I live in California and constantly think about this place. I actually happened to accidentally find it and walked in while getting boba next door and I was not disappointed! Got a small bag of the dilly pickles flavored and it was delicious! The popcorn itself was a huge kernel but extremely light and crunchy. Popped by here during the weekly Saturday morning car show they have in this shopping plaza and what drew me in was a sign in front with the words happy hour, $1 popcorn! At the time it was $1 a bag of warm butter popcorn, great size too for $1, I added the photo below. Their buttered popcorn is great, I love the flavor and texture of their popcorn. I was pleasantly surprised! And the texture and taste is still great after a couple of days. I've also tried a few other flavors. The Oishi Nori flavor tastes just as great as the Hawaiian version we have back home called Hurricane popcorn! This is a wonderful place for some delicious popcorn in Vegas! It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza on Eastern, and there is one other location in Vegas too (I wish there were more!). Inside you'll find a small, clean store with friendly staff. They have a ton of options in both flavor options and packaging options from small pre-packaged plastic bags to huge gift tins. They have a large tub you can buy and then bring back over and over to refill for a discounted price. It does not seem too expensive; a large pre-packaged plastic bag is $5. They have savory and sweet flavors, and they have rotating seasonal flavors that change every month or so. Currently (April) they have an awesome "Oishii Nori" Furikake Japanese snack mix flavor (sort of a salty, seaweed flavor). I know it sounds weird, but it tastes goooood! I have also tried the "La Famiglia" flavor which is a savory Italian flavor that is sort of like eating a pizza (if you can imagine that as a popcorn) rich with Italian seasonings. The white cheddar flavor is also awesome, and this is from someone who is not always a huge cheese fan. For something sweet go for the s'mores flavor.
