Want to find the best Sushi in Pullman? I highly recommend Tokyo Seoul! They have the best rolls, but the most memorable order I had were these mojitos! They don't advertise these on their menu, but if you ask for a mixed drink (I believe it's called a berry mojito) they will fix you the most exquisite and very berry mojito you'll ever had. As somebody who is fairly picky about seafood, Tokyo Seoul is definitely my favorite place in town when I want sushi (or even just something simple that doesn't involve seafood like bulgogi). So far, I have tried the red dragon roll, cougar roll, double crunchy roll, and various types of bento box from them, and I have never been disappointed. Sure, service can get slow when they get slammed, but I'm not highly critical of this. The food makes up for it for me, and the servers have all been very kind. Additionally, the place is kept clean, which I appreciate. They have a lot of Korean and Japanese advertisements up on the walls, which is pretty interesting to look at. Overall, this is the best place in town to get sushi hands down. It may not be exactly like what you could get on the coast, but this pretty close. read more

This place has gone downhill in the age of COVID, and that may not sound fair, but the service is terrible now whether you go there and sit or you order takeout. Slow, inaccurate, and just nowhere near as close as it used to be. That is frustrating as this was my go-to place for sushi in Pullman, and now it's a crapshoot. This is one of the better restaurants in Pullman. This is as good as sushi gets in Pullman, and it is the only Korean restaurant in Pullman. I've been there a number of times with different groups of people, and it has always been enjoyable. The first time I went there I was with a group that included two energetic small children. Luckily, we were in the back room, and the staff didn't mind them running around. I went there with a large group of people from school once, and the service was a tiny bit slow, but nothing too bad and they were clearly really busy. All the other times I've been there the service has been quick and attentive. The food is really good. I enjoy their Koren BBQ, particularly the beef bulgogi. You can cook it yourself on one of their grilling tables (which is lots of fun), or order it already cooked. They also have great combos where you get tempura, salad, side dishes and sushi with your beef bulgogi. Their sushi and sashimi are very fresh and tasty. When a friend and I ordered a small sashimi combo (17 pieces) the sushi chef gave us three extra pieces for free! read more

Limited banchan, bulgogi not marinated and not grilled with any char or discerning flavors. Bland. The pot was hot and that was about it. I ended up dumping the banchan in the pot to give it some taste. The sushi roll I had was rolled with warm rice that really threw off the taste of the fish. It's pretty pricey compared to red bento, but the food here is still pretty good. I used to come here a lot just because it was closer to the dorm I was staying in my freshmen year. Nothing bad to say about this place, I love the food. Recently I did come here to try their kbbq. It was good but it was too expensive compared to kbbq restaurants back home. My wife and I love this place! The customer service is great. It's true that sometimes you have to wait at the front before getting a seat. But the people are friendly. They know us. They take good care of us. The food is fabulous! Excellent quality. Wonderful sushi rolls. The entrees are also really good. We have not tried the Korean barbecue so I can't comment on that. Here's the deal. When I go into a Japanese and Korean restaurant and almost every customer is from Japan or Korea, I feel like I'm probably in a good place. The price is on the not-in-the-college-budget side, but this place satisfies my sushi craving to the T. Originally, my go-to roll was the crunchy roll - a huge roll with kiawe sprouts, chopped imitation crab, 2 tempura shrimp, and cucumber all rolled up in rice and nori, rolled in panko crumbs, and topped with that sweet and delicious unagi sauce. Mmmmmmm!! My boyfriend recommends the dragon roll because he loves eel on his sushi :) However, my new and all-time favorite is the Rockstar roll. If you can handle heat and spice, get this! It's filled with spicy tuna then topped with fried lobster, onion, and other stuff that I'm not sure of but I know tastes delicious. The sauce that the put on top of the whole dish is amazing. I always have to get this when I come here. If you're not a fan of sushi, the bento boxes are always a great choice. Tokyo Seoul has everything from KBBQ to Soondoboo to Bibimbap, Bulgolgi, Kalbi to sushi, Bento Boxes, fresh Sashimi, Chirashi Bowls, Umi etc to steak! This is the best restaurant in Pullman. My girlfriend of the time (tired of writing SO, bah!) took me here when we were dating before she drove back to Portland (that was an insane relationship) having seen it from the highway in her Volvo while driving onto campus. I knew about it but had previously ignored it. I am really glad I went, as the meat of the Korean BBQ is of excellent quality, and the BBQ set up on your table lets you get everything just right. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and overall the only bad part of the experience was that you couldn't really hold a conversation, the restaurant was loud and then there was a blower directly over the table.
