    Hibachi Big Shrimp
    Manny C.

We were looking for hibachi and this place was recommended by a coworker. Hands down best risk I took in 2022. Food was delicious and ready in the time quoted. It was so good we came back two nights in a row. I tried the hibachi chicken and my wife dad the big shrimp. It was ridiculously delicious and the give you a big side of white sauce which is phenomenal. We are huge fans and will definitely be back!!!

I've lived in this area for about 7 years and I can't believe I never came here before. I was look up reviews on yelp for asian food and wanted something different than my go to and I saw this place. Their menu had a good variety of food and the prices were decent. My husband called and the girl that answered was really friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time ordering, we had a few questions. Takeout only took about 15 minutes. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp. Good portion. The shrimp wasn't overcooked and the chicken was good. The rice was also nice and fluffy. My husband got the chicken hibachi and he was pretty impressed as well. We opted out of the shrimp sauce and got the hot sauce and ginger sauce instead. The hot sauce had a good kick to it and very flavorful and my husband liked the ginger sauce. I'll definitely use this place in rotation!

Nothing to write home about, but the food was good and fast. It's in the plaza with Planet Fitness. Nice after workout meal.

Whenever I go to eat I don't ask for much, keep my water full. When going here was sat at the booth in the bar section. After I got my first order, I wanted to order more but the bartender never came back so I just went to the bar with my order sheet but the bartender never acknowledge me but lucky CINDY step in and got the order for me and apologize. Later she had to refill our water because the bartender never came back. Later in the end of our meal we asked him can he check the status of my food and he said it's coming. Later he came back and said your food disappeared so whatever, I ask for the check. Our mood is already not the greatest at this moment. When the check came the bartender still had the charges for the food that we never got so I had to bring it up to him to remove it. Cindy came and apologize for everything that happen. Honestly, CINDY made me change my review. I hope CINDY get the recognition she deserves.

The restaurant has a great ambiance, and the menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. Where this place really shines is the appetizers and entrées. They were some of the best I've had at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, making the meal off to a great start. The biggest disappointment, however, was the chef's special sushi rolls. A lot of them were deep-fried, and unfortunately, they just didn't work for me. The flavors felt heavy and didn't showcase the freshness you'd expect from sushi. On the other hand, the hand rolls were much better--fresh, flavorful, and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, it's a good spot with a great atmosphere and excellent appetizers, but I'd recommend sticking to the hand rolls and other menu items over the chef's special rolls.

Our server seemed new and a bit confused a lot. We wanted a specific sake which she said she'd check to see if they were out of and when she came back she didn't tell us we were out of it just asked what we wanted again. We got a different sake which was DISGUSTING. Could barely drink it. After putting in our sushi order for AYCE, I let her know about my shellfish allergy and just asked that anything with lobster or crab be on a separate plate. She was very confused, apparently not knowing what shellfish was and went down the list of all fish asking what was safe.... One of my rolls was supposed to be a spicy salmon but came out just a regular salmon but I just ate it. The sushi itself was very good, I loved the abundance of special rolls they offer.

I placed my order over the phone at 1:44 PM, specifically trying to get the lunch special before 2:00 PM since that's when I believed it ended. The person on the phone took my order, told me it would be ready in 10 minutes, and that was it--no mention of them closing soon. On my way there, traffic was crazy, and I got a call around 2:09 PM from the restaurant asking about my ETA. I was a little confused because I had no idea restaurants rush customers to pick up their food. Turns out, they were closing at 2:00 PM and reopening at 4:30 PM, which I was never told when I placed my order. Had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered at all because I wasn't about to rush there in the middle of heavy traffic. To make things worse, they kept blowing up my phone even after I explained I was stuck in traffic. Finally, a different person (maybe a manager) got on the phone and actually told me they were closed, which was the first time I was properly informed. By that point, I was already frustrated, so I just told them to keep the food because I wasn't going to make it in time. Overall, the lack of communication was the biggest issue here. If they had just told me when I placed the order that they were closing soon, I would have saved myself the trouble. The constant calls rushing me didn't help either. I can't say I'll be in a hurry to return after this experience.

Being from California, we did not think our sushi standards could be topped, but this place completely proved us wrong. Some of our favorites were the salmon belly, the red snapper sampler, the yellowtail, and the slam on hand rolls. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. We also loved that they had Echigo beer, which is not easy to find and was a great addition to the meal. One thing that really stood out was how well balanced everything was. Nothing felt overwhelming or heavy, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of the rolls here. I could not recommend this place more. It had a Michelin 2025 sticker on the front door so I thought it would be amazing. I want to say that the service was excellent. Very attentive servers, very professional, very friendly. The service was 5-stars for sure. Next, the food. We started with the miso soup and ginger salad. Miso soup was bland and the ginger dressing on the salad was super bland. We ordered the crispy spicy tuna and the steamed shumai next. The crispy spicy tuna was weird. The first taste bud stimuli was fishy and the last thing you tasted was McDonald's hashbrowns. Also, the chopsticks were very cheap and when you picked up the piece it basically fell apart. The presentation for the steamed shumai was horrible. It was served in a bowl with the chili garlic sauce in a tiny bowl on the side. The pieces were wayyy too big to pick up with the chopsticks and for the mouth. But if you managed to get the thing in your mouth, it was super hot and basically burned your mouth. Like there was no option to take a bite it was either shove the whole thing in your mouth or not eat it at all. The rolls we ordered were the Mr Crabby, which was the only good thing we ordered. The Naruto, which had too many layers of cucumber wrapped around it and the pieces were mini. The villain, a $25 roll with caviar on top, but the caviar was so sparse, it could barely be seen with the naked eye. Rainbow roll was ok but again, the pieces were tiny. Every roll was flavorless and the price point was stupid. $122 plus tip for a bland lunch was retarded. Super disappointed.
