It was great food with really great service. Some of the food was off but I suspect that was due with how late we came. Also be sure to bring a blanket it was freezzzzzzzing!

The food was pretty good, my friends and I came in with large group. The place looked clean and the artwork is a nice touches. Wait staff was friendly but did seemed a little annoyed dealing with a party of 11 and getting some orders wrong. Overall we would come back & try it again.

This place was ok. The rolls were ok. Not bad but not great. We enjoyed the service. Our waitress made good recommendations. We loved the music selection. And it's good value.

First of all, I love this AYCE off the menu concept...perfect for those who love not just sushi, but other tasty items on the menu! The place itself was very spacious, with lotsa comfy booths. The place could have used some color and decor though. What we didn't love was their overhead music...not the volume, but the genre. Also, when we arrived, the A/C wasn't on sufficiently...but this improved during our meal. Since this was such a great value (only 29 bucks for AYCE...but didn't cover drinks or desserts), I didn't expect high quality...but we were both surprised that the foods turned out to be quite good. Given the busy nature of this deal, I didn't expect great presentation...and as expected, pretty basic. We tried SO many things...I tried to take pics of each and every item, but as it turned out, I missed at least 2 dishes. The thing that was bad was the service and the delivery system. Our waitress was barely attentive and accessible (we couldn't find her half the time!)...didn't even check on us for at least the first 20-25 minutes! Due to her absence, we weren't able to get anyone to check on one of our missing foods. We had to re-order halfway into our meal...and even then, it wasn't delivered promptly. The foods were also brought out in random order...main sushi rolls way before the appetizers and soups, for instance. Also, some of the foods took way too long to be delivered to our table. Honestly, as much as I enjoyed all the foods (again, good quality!), the delivery system kind of ruined it for me. I really enjoyed the foods...but hated how choppy the delivery of the foods were. For instance, I wanted to eat the appetizers WITH the sushi rolls...but that just wasn't possible. Luckily, despite all the shortcomings, my husband really enjoyed the meal...as he loves having so many options to choose from. Frankly, as much as I liked the foods, I felt so annoyed with the inattentive service and slow deliveries. I would have loved to drop 4 stars, but I felt that our waitress dropped the ball on us...and the slow, scattered delivery of the foods were just not good. Still, given how we did appreciate the foods and the value, very likely to return...and hopefully I can bump up the ratings, should the service and the deliveries are better next time.

Always a great time at sushi haha. Have a newborn and wanted to sit outside so we came to the new ballantyne location. Unfortunately, we came on Columbus Day which the restaurant considered a holiday so they charged dinner prices all day instead of lunch but we had 2 rounds of sushi + apps so absolutely worth it and was great to get out of the house with a newborn! The music inside and outside was quite loud, but we asked our server to turn it down a little bit (we were the only people on the patio) and they did very quickly. Will be back!

Think twice before choosing the AYCE or just dine in option. We chose the AYCE..and we only ordered a small batch first round vs AYCE. HOWEVER, I think it's cheaper with the AYCE vs if you know you're going to order multiple rolls. The yellowtail jalapeño - this is small & very thin compared other restaurants I've been too that had this option (obvi hence the AYCE..so I get it). Was it good, yes, was it worth it...maybe if you ordered 2 - 3 orders of it, yes. Rainbow roll - pretty basic. The TNT, it's heavy. I was concerned if the mango would be a concern but it didn't. Great touch to it. Def recommend without the cream cheese. Hubs had the hibachi steak - great size portion with his other 2 sushi orders. We were really trying to get it all down so they wouldn't charge us extra for leftover (despite the only order we made for AYCE). Location of the restaurant- great! They had a good flow of people coming in around opening time. Space is not limited. Indoors and outdoors. Servers were constantly checking in on us.

A friend told me about SushiHana and said it's a must-try. I was hoping it would turn into one of my go-to spots. Not the case, but it was a nice experience nonetheless. This isn't your typical "order and forget" just to sample a bit of everything restaurant. It's all you can eat, but it's no buffet. You place an order with your server every time you'd like more food. And every roll counts, so choose wisely. The rule is: if you order it, you eat it. The staff is more than happy to guide you through the menu to avoid any unwanted surprises, but you will be charged extra if you order food and waste it. When the servers take up your plate, it better be clean, or else. Time is also of the essence at SushiHana. There is a table time limit that makes you keep the orders coming and the sushi flowing. While the menu leans heavily on fried and tempura-style rolls, which might not be everyone's cup of green tea, the overall experience is a win. The flavors are on point, and the vibe is chill for a casual sushi night out.

So good!!! All you can eat and it was actually really delicious. The restaurant is spacious. The server was meh but she did g disturb our dinner. I would definitely go back.

The food was amazing and we enjoyed being able to try a a bunch of different options. Not just sushi but hibachi and appetizers. Everything was great.

Me and my boyfriend went by recently for dinner. We opted for the all you can eat sushi option. Everything was really good! I tried a variety of things including the chicken teriyaki and crab rangoons. Everything tasted great and fresh. It was definitely worth the price, it ended up being a lot of food and fairly large portions for all you can eat.

We love going to all you can eat sushi. I'm glad they opened a location in Ballantyne. It's much closer for us! We went on Valentine's day and they gave us champagne to celebrate! Food was great and service was great too!!

Worst sushi I've ever had. No flavor in any of the dishes I ate. Complete waste of money.

Being from California, we did not think our sushi standards could be topped, but this place completely proved us wrong. Some of our favorites were the salmon belly, the red snapper sampler, the yellowtail, and the slam on hand rolls. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. We also loved that they had Echigo beer, which is not easy to find and was a great addition to the meal. One thing that really stood out was how well balanced everything was. Nothing felt overwhelming or heavy, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of the rolls here. I could not recommend this place more. An amazing experience from start to finish.

Excellent Sushi in North Carolina. No, I'm not high but I definitely was on Cloud 9 during and…read moreafter my dinner at Prime Fish. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll start at the beginning ... My friend and I spent the week of New Years in North Carolina. If you wanna know why, ask. Just know it includes trolls. On the tail end of the trip, we were looking for dinner and tried to dine at Prime Fish - even driving out to the restaurant only to find it was closed (New Years Day). But we did make it out the next night. Without reservations even (reservations not taken) - without a wait and had what I felt was the best meal of the week. Seated at the bar, we got to see the chefs in action. They were busy all night but still managed to engage with the guests - many were regulars and like the chefs, uber friendly. Conversations with the guests was just a bonus that made the evening one that I won't soon forget. But back to Prime Fish ... Service was excellent. We were tended to on the likes that is deserving of the Michelin recognition. It's not just about the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, funny and genuinely took the time and energy to make sure we had a great time. Even left us with her favorite candy - see pic. Then there's the fish. The fresh sashimi and sushi. Started off with an Toro Imperial (fatty tuna, sea urchin, sturgeon caviar, sea salt and microgreens). If not for the price tag ($50), I would have ordered more. We both opted for a premium Sashimi Tasting ($27). Each. I wasn't going to share. Not being enough, I ordered a Sushi Tasting while she ordered a Salmon Tasting. See pics - of my orders but know they won't do the fish, or the restaurant and chefs any justice. I could use all the key words used to describe an excellent Sashimi/Sushi experience but words can't and won't come close. I've had Sashimi/Sushi all over the world. I've been in places that just ooze "expensive" and had a decent experience. What I really enjoyed is that walking in, the makeshift "outdoor" patio wouldn't make you think this is a Michelin "recognized" establishment. The strip mall location or even the single counter and few tables. Made me feel like it was just a simple restaurants with excellent food and service. Just like the Michelin Guide inspectors felt.
