Service was great! This place is inside HMart in Niles. I have always bought rolls from them but when I saw the Katsu meals and honestly I saw a guy eating it on a nearby table. I had to get it and try it myself. I bought the Chicken Katsu and it was tje bomb!!!!. So tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Came with veggies and rice. I would go back again and again and again for this! Must try! What are you waiting for??!!!! Run!!! Happy eating!!!!

Located in H Mart, to the right when you walk in. It's next to What A Dumpling. We came after 7 pm, so it was buy one get one Maki free. If you're looking for good quality, look elsewhere because the quality was like average kind of bland. The shrimp tempura was not crunchy, it was too soft. The spicy Tokyo deluxe combo was not fresh, it was probably prepared earlier in the day. This is a good place if you're just hungry and want something to either fill your belly, or to supplement your meal at What A Dumpling. The cashier very nice and helpful though.

5 stars overall! The lady who works here is always SO NICE and helpful. My partner is gluten free and she helps us make sure we get a gf option and she offers free gluten free soy sauce which is rare to find lately! Sushi is 4 stars to me, and the bowls I would say are 5! Also the reviews about BOGO offers not being fresh is funny because that's the POINT? it's BOGO later in the day so it doesn't have to be tossed at night. So of course it's not as crispy but it's also HALF OFF. If you want super fresh go to a normal sit down restaurant :) Overall tho it's great for quick sushi that will fill you up!

We come over to the Hmart food court after swim lessons and there's something for everyone. Buy one get one free sushi trays after 6pm. The cashier is always super sweet.

Pretty pathetic salmon and shrimp tempura maki... where is the shrimp? Oh is that the shrimp? Hmmm very shrimpy in size indeed.

Great place to have Japanese style bento box. Really like the conversation had with the owner Jinny. Will come here often for great Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend the bento boxes.

Food: Fish katsu ($7.99): food portion is decent and it comes out just cooked so unlike some sushi items, it's fresh...tastes just ok.. *comes with miso soup with mushrooms in it (that's a first).. Restaurant lacks.. -Communication: they need a microphone or something to call out the orders when it's ready or delivery to the tables would be nice.. :) Costs: on the higher end for the portion/quality of food, but I guess you can expect it from a food court..

The sushi is alright but the noodle dishes are fantastic, especially the ramen. Mighty tasty and filling.

I recently stopped by with my boyfriend while passing through the area, and Korean soup hits differently when it's freaking cold outside. I ordered the "mix" soup (seollungtang with meat and tendon), and it came out boiling just the way it should be. The bowl includes thin flour noodles, tender meat and tendon, and is topped with green onions. It also comes out with kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), regular kimchi, a dipping sauce for the meat, and salt to season the soup to your liking. All of that plus a Diet Coke came out to $33.99 for both of us. In this economy? That's a solid deal. The lady and the man working behind the counter are always sweet, which is a plus. The food was comforting and much needed. I'm so thankful this place still exists and is standing strong even after Assi is gone. A place I'll always come back to when I'm near the area and craving a warm bowl of soup.

You order and wait and then your order appears from behind the curtain. I don't know all about Korean cuisine, but the goat soup does have great flavor. It doesn't seem to have dumb'ed down just to appease the locals (ha ha). I've been here twice and the little side dishes appear to rotate slightly so they weren't the same both times (I confess I ordered the goat soup both times). I see a lot of past reviews mention the oxtail. I wish I could get some of that. There is bulgogi and rice on the menu too. The spicy pork bulgogi was plentiful, but it wasn't as spicy as the soup. I promise I'll try a different soup next time. Maybe.

Even then, it's iffy - if the meat can't stand on its own, and needs a bath of some class of syrup, it's maybe not all that good. This is the crux of my complaint with Tang's Bibimbap. The beef within the stone bowl was insipid, lacking any freshness or seasoning. It felt as though it'd been made at least an hour before, and then added as part of assembly. the veggies and egg had some flavor of their own, but not much. It took a *healthy* amount of sauce to turn up the flavor of the bowl. After a couple round of sauce, mix, and taste, I got the flavor turned up to where I liked it. After then, the bowl was fine, and by then the rice had transformed into divine crispness from being pressed into the stone. Don't get me wrong, the bowl became fine. Still, I feel as though there is a difference between food that stands on its own, or one that needs additions to not be sent back. The Banchan were of the same theme as the Bibimbap. While some (not all) had flavor, such as the kimchi, these flavors felt uninspired and plain. Usually, there is at least one or two standout Banchan, but not in this case. An area I want to give points for was the service. The food came out fast, and the server was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Final verdict: The overall experience was okay, in the way that works if you're in a pinch. Sauce is mandatory, and side plates are underwhelming at best. However, despite some misses with the Banchan, the Bibimbap was perfectly edible.

Our waitress was wonderful, and helped us with some recommendations upon us letting her know it was our first visit! She checked in with us frequently, and made sure drinks were always refilled promptly! We had a bunch of different items, and all were very good! We tried sushi rolls, beef noodles, and ramen.
