Food is ok. I've only been there in the winter and I guess both times the heat wasn't working. It was so cold my miso soup was cold.

Came here during lunch. Decent price, but definitely not worth eating. I got the chicken teriyaki, sushi and sashimi here. The sushi lacked flavor and the teriyaki was bland and had no taste to it at all. Coworkers got other dishes and didn't like it due to it not having any taste. I have eaten here several times and am always reminded why I do not visit very often. First, there is something wrong with the water source. Their water tastes and smells odd which also translates to the tea. I am not sure if the quality depends on when you go, but for lunch I ordered the chicken fried rice. It came out very quickly but was very greasy. The chicken seemed a bit old and the peas were a little hard in the center. Mushy, not very good. It has been a while since I've had their sushi but remember it being okay if a bit pricey. The owners and wait staff speak very little English so good luck trying to communicate anything other than your order. read more

More like a 3.5 star place. This is down the road from where we currently live. For the area and the price point, this restaurant was very good. The miso was comfort in a bowl on a cold night, the salad with ginger dressing was a bit too sweet but it's been a while since I'd had ginger dressing (which I love) and for $2 each, I ordered two! We decided that after our amazing meal at Sushi Vic's last night, we would stick to standard rolls: spicy tuna, scallop roll, Crazy roll and Sweetheart roll. They were all fresh and good. The server was exceptional: he was friendly and very attentive. One negative for me was that the restaurant was very cold inside but other than that, we will absolutely be back when craving miso and some sushi. read more

It's not fancy, it's not high end but the food is good, prices are reasonable and the staff are very nice.

Yes, I have been hanging out in NJ lately so I have been going to restaurants I can find in the area. There are not a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. And Tokyo C is something familiar you'll usually find in NYC. To have this restaurant in an area where you're not going to find a lot of restaurants, Tokyo C reminds me of things I am accustomed to in NYC. Just like in NYC, Tokyo C gets crowded during lunch. And like most restaurants, it has a set price for lunch. At around $8, you'll get a complete lunch box which is similar price you'll pay in NYC. read more

I have eaten here numerous times since I was stationed at McGuire Air Force base from 2010-2015. Food portions over the years have decreased and they are cutting corners. The sashimi isnt always fresh and the chicken soba noodles with only 5 tiny strips of chicken when 1 McDonald chicken nugget has more chicken is disappointing. Why don't they just charge more instead of cutting corners for example the California roll that comes with the lunch bento box they're suppose to be 4 pieces of it instead they only make two but cut them into 3 pieces. Not sure if they still do this but the last couple of times we have gotten it that's how they made it. Also during the winter months they don't turn the heat on its it's super cold. When you ask for more napkins and no joke they only bring you one napkin. Oh how I don't miss you Tokyo C. read more

Ok place. The food tastes good but I have received questionable salmon and yellowtail sushi that was very "fishy tasting and smelling" that I had on more than one occasion. I don't really like to go here for that reason and also the size of the sushi roll pieces were very very small on multiple occasions. Friends of ours got sick after eating there but they still go back because it was the only place for 15 miles until another place just opened up the street from them.... All of the 14 times I have been there, they take forever to prepare and serve the sushi. I choose another local sushi establishment for delivery for an immediate fix. However, I do not go anywhere in Wrightstown for sit-down dinner service sushi. I will drive 25 minutes to Mt. Holly or 16 minutes to Bordentown to get better, fresher, and bigger sushi because it is worth the drive. Try them and form your own opinion. However, I do not know how the one guy reviewed as the best sushi he ever had? There is way better out there!!! read more

Four of us went here for lunch. Miso soup was luke warm. Two of us had spring rolls, which were delicious. Then the main courses arrived. Overall the food was warm at best. Two teriyaki chickens were bland and recently de-thawed. Pineapple chicken was OK, but the rice was rather crunchy. The teriyaki beef was "rare". (It was not requested rare). Service was severely lacking as they stood at the counter and played on their phones and iPads. The front parking spots were taken by the employees forcing us to park in the back with a disabled minivan and their garbage. The fish wasn't fresh and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I love sushi and have been eating it all my life but I've never had sushi this bad. It's only been about 15min since I ate there and I'm already feeling a bit nauseous. Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a co worker. I was pleased with the quality of the food. The sushi was good as was the entree. The service was spot on and friendly. Several customers asked for various items and each request was handled promptly and courteously. I would recommend this establishment to friends and will be coming back in the future. read more

This place is the best sushi I've had in nj, the food is fresh and at a really great price. The reviewer below is lying about the prices, the meal in the picture he posted would run you about $15. I love going during lunch time and getting the any 2 rolls and a bento box. Those together are right at $15 as well. He was correct about the portions not being that big, but who wants sushi rolls that are larger than bite size? I've taken many sushi noobies to this place and they were hooked. I work in the fort Dix area and go about once a week and I haven't been disappointed yet. read more

We found this place when looking for a Japanese place for lunch. At 1:30 the place was completely empty, the restaurant had a weird smell, and the waiter was wearing sandals. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box lunch and my boyfriend ordered the teriyaki beef. The bento box was ok, I would just expect a different side other than rice. The beef teriyaki was not seasoned and the portion was very small. read more

Average. For the lack of a better sushi place in town, I'd call this good. If there's one roll that's a standout (and it's not a sushi roll), it's the vegetarian dream roll. Recently visited this place with fellow Soldiers. I've driven by it a few times but missed it. I think the signs outside need to be updated so that can be a reason. I've read a few reviews that say this place was dead. You have to remember that it's just outside a military base so if the troops are off, they've gone off to Philly, NYC, the coast, etc.... So we walked in; the place was slow but the family greeted us with open arms. The service was good, we were always attended and our food came out very quick. One of my fellow officers ordered four rolls the first go around , then an additional roll, along with a drink. I did three rolls and a couple of Sapporros, then added another two rolls. Aside from the aesthetics, inside and out, the service was decent, the price point is not a killer and the food is good, just above average. We'll make it a point to hit this place and give them our support. If I could give them a fair rating on here, it would be a 3.5! read more

This place has very small sushi rolls. The amount of meat is very little, it is mostly vegetables with little meat. I called for delivery and they had a very hard time finding my address. I live very close on a main street. Will not order again. read more
