I stopped in this store to browse after getting Dim Sum with my husband, very pleased with the…read moreservice I received! Ivy promptly told me about a buy one get one special they were running for sheet masks, and when I lingered at a product display for a few moments she quickly began explaining what the product was used for and what kind of skin it suited. For reference, I'm not Asian, so I can't read many of the labels on the products in the store. But ivy speaks fantastic English and didn't mind telling me about the brands and ingredients. I chose a cleanser meant for sensitive skin and she recommended a few other products as well. She wasn't pushy but urged me to come buy and try others as I finished the skincare I already had at home. She had a pile of samples ready for me at the register when I was ready to checkout, and when my husband pointed out the skincare set I had at home she began asking me how I liked it and if it was working well for me. When I mentioned my disappointment with the eye cream that came with my Ohui skin set she recommended a different brand and proceeded to LOAD my bag with samples of it. This is one of the chief reasons I love stores like this, you can buy one item and walk out with a bag full of stuff. She gave me a huge sample of shampoo I'd been wanting to try, you can't beat that kind of service! I felt really welcome here, and the service I received was fantastic. I will definitely return to purchase the cream she recommended. Such a great little shop.

I pass by this nail supply store almost every day and had always wanted to stop in but never had…read morethe chance until recently. I've been doing my own nails for a few years now to save money, since salon visits can get expensive. I love my regular nail tech and her work lasts 3-4 weeks, but I only see her once or twice a year because of the cost. The store had most of what I needed, though I didn't notice many options for UV lamps or the desk lamps you usually see in salons. The space is fairly large and well organized, but the aisles are narrow, so it can feel tight if more than one person is browsing. I was there to restock gel nail tips and extension gel. I searched every aisle and couldn't find the tips I wanted, but just as I was about to leave, I noticed them behind the register. It seems like the Apres products are kept behind the counter. I also picked up a color combo I've been wanting to try for a while. Prices were slightly cheaper than online -- not by a huge margin -- but I needed the items right away, so I was glad to find everything locally.

I first learned about Nature Collection at their vendor's booth at Asian American Expo. I purchased…read moresome sheet masks, got lots of freebies, and learned about their Grand Opening event this weekend. Nature Collection is located in Pacific Plaza. I've been here before when parking is absolutely packed, but on a Friday morning, we had plenty! The gentleman working there admitted that they weren't quite ready yet, but kindly allowed us to take a look around their store. Nature Collection sells skincare goods from brands such as Dear Packer, Beyond, Su:m37°, The History of Whoo, THE FACE SHOP, CNP Laboratory, O HUI, etc. They also had a small section of make up and cosmetic supplies from 3CE, VDL, and Missha (I also saw a Pony Effect palette, but this was not shelved yet). There's a good range of affordable brands to very high end ones, so there's something for everyone. And as with any skincare or make up store I go into, I always go in knowing what I need for my skin and have an idea of reasonable price range. I really like the fact that they have Dear Packer and Beyond goods here, since I only know of one other store that sells these brands. The closest THE FACE SHOP has closed too, so this can also save some time traveling all the way to Westfield Santa Anita for theirs. I purchased THE FACE SHOP Papaya Peel, cleansing lotion, and skin mask brush, and Dr. Jart masks. For freebies, I got wet tissues, History of Whoo Soo Soo Yeon sample kit, and a slew of skin care samples. For their Grand Opening Promotion, I was able to get a very nice canvas tote bag and spun a wheel to win a Beyond Waterful Shower Gel. I'm giving 5 stars because despite being in the early stages of opening, the service was very polite, courteous, friendly, and inviting. I have gone to far too many Asian beauty stores only to feel unwelcome from being closely followed around and stared at (I look a slob in real life, I'll be honest). However, I felt none of that at this location. I will definitely come back in the future and hopefully they will have more items I can look forward to!

I have a Takashima closer to me, but it's always exciting when a new Asian beauty/JP focused cosmetics etc shop opens up in the area. If you are a fan of the Japanese affordable, "drug store" brand Canmake, this is definitely the place to go if you're not close by to Tokyo Central. The stock for Canmake make up and skincare goods is definitely much more well stocked and diverse than what is in Rowland Heights. I got the "aegyo sal"/shiny tear liner that I've been trying to find for awhile and I also got some nice mascara as well. They also carry other brands such as the widely loved Ishizawa Lab Nadeshiko sheet masks, face wash, etc products and the cute Country & Stream lip care items. I honestly still think that Shibuyala has the wider breadth of variety also by virtue of being the bigger store, but if you can't find it there, Takashima is you're next best bet to hit up. Really wished this spot has a snack section like the RH location, but I understand the space limitations.

BEWARE 0 STARS…read more I've been shopping at this location for over 3 years, and it used to be one of my favorite places to shop. Unfortunately, the experience has changed so much. The customer service is no longer what it used to be, and it honestly feels like there may be new ownership. What I saw this weekend was testers being sold as regular products. I've also come across expired makeup, extremely high prices, and shelves that are rarely stocked with anything good. What's even more disappointing is seeing products that appear to be from Shein being sold for 5x the price. As a longtime customer, it's frustrating to see the quality and overall shopping experience decline this much. While I was in store Thursday night I seen a roach just walking around the displays for a store selling makeup and beauty products, cleanliness should be a top priority. I informed the employee and she said "what the F... no way this place always has them ughh can you kill it"? I really hope management takes these concerns seriously because this store used to be so much better. I was not greeted either!!!

I walked into Infinite Glow hoping to browse some palettes, but the condition of the products was…read moregenuinely shocking. Several palettes on display were broken and clearly had been tampered with, one even had a dead fly stuck to it. The majority of the makeup looked expired and old, which is just unacceptable for a retail store. I took a look at the foundation testers, and the product came out chunky and clumpy. What made it worse was the sign right next to them advertising "free shade matches" - meaning those same old, clumpy foundations are being applied directly to customers' faces. That's a hygiene and safety concern, plain and simple. I left without buying anything and won't be returning. I'd recommend Infinite Glow do a full check on their inventory and testers before someone ends up with an infection or a bad reaction.
