I got the katsu rice plate (no curry sauce, but a sweet BBQ-ish katsu sauce) which came with a pile of cabbage salad, pickled cucumber salad, marinara spaghetti (somewhat inexplicably, but they do specialize in Japanese spaghetti here), rice, and miso soup for $19. A good deal! Chicken was tender and moist. The chicken katsu udon has a good amount of spice and flavor; just note it's on the spicy side. Also really appreciate the sesame seed grinder, the assortment of peppers and spices at the table you could add, and that there is a self-serve napkin dispenser. Sauce wasn't overpowering or too heavy which was great. The aromatics on the omurice was a nice touch too.
