Toki is a wonderful stop for sushi rolls and ramen. The spicy chicken ramen is delightful. I also highly recommend the cheese sticks. I could eat 2 orders of those by myself they are so addictive! Dine in if you can. The staff is friendly and fast. I am also a weirdo about sushi to go so take that with the grain of salt! Toki is my 9 year olds favorite!

We just moved into the area and we were looking for a new sushi spot. Coming across TOKI we stopped by for their happy hour that's available from 12pm - 6pm. We're definitely going to be back again ! We ordered a couple of appetizers & rolls: Spicy Edamame - these were spicy & flavourful Seaweed Salad - fresh & light Gyoza - lightly pan-fried & pork filling was tasty Tornado Roll - shrimp tempura & extra crunch topping with eel sauce made the roll Samurai Roll - spicy tuna was so fresh & is definitely a must order Rockstar - this was a lightly fried roll & was very good considering we both aren't huge fans of fried rolls (highly recommend if you like fried rolls)

This was my first time here with my boyfriend, and I've been looking everywhere for a delicious ramen place that has soft thinish noodles. Most ramen places I've been to have those curly firm noodles and I never eat them, I just drink some of the broth. BUT this place had the best broth (super flavorful, the spicy miso is a comfortable spice so nothing too spicy where you can't eat it, the ginger really makes the broth), and the noodles were soft and also cooked perfectly, the pork chashu was super tender, and not super fatty which is wonderful, and the egg was delicious in the broth as well. My boyfriend isnt a huge ramen fan, but he did try their California roll sushi, I also had a bite and it tastes fresh, great quality of ingredients, and really good. It's a small little place, so it has 3 booths, and maybe 4 tables in there. But service was fast, super friendly staff working even the chefs were smiling and having a good time, their decor was nice, nice music playing (not too loud either) and overall really cozy with dim light. This is now my favorite ramen/sushi spot near home, I will continue coming back. absolutely 1,000% recommend. Spicy miso ramen before tax is $12.95 Any soda that is coke zero, sprite etc before tax is $1.95 (comes in a can with a glass of ice) Gyoza before tax is $6.95 BUT if you order them from the happy hour menu before 6pm it's $5.95 ($1 off) and worth it!

Family-run sushi and Ramen establishment. Very simple layout, hole in the wall restaurant. Service is a bit slow, but the foods more than make up for the service. The Ramen was one of the best I've eaten. I wish pork was not fried. Otherwise, it would be perfect. The miniature cheese rolls were delectable. Love the seaweed salad and sashimi platter. The Rodeo roll is my least favorites. I will try the cool dog the next time I am there as well as the Japanese drinks.

I've been coming to Toki for a good while ( over a year) & each time is better than before. First of all, you walk in and its so cozy and dim. The staff is always so nice and has never messed up my order once. I love ordering their appetizers, especially the calamari! It is so crunchy & delicious! Their cheese sticks are something you don't wanna miss out on! They're like mini cheesecake bites and theyre so crunchy too! I've had the pleasure of trying out one of their hotdogs before and they are honestly so good. They kind of remind me of Mexican style hotdogs but with more Asian flavors. It's something worth trying! The ramen thooooooo.... It's some of the best I've had all over Houston. The broth is so much more flavorful and creamier than other shops. They give you a generous amount of noddles, the pork is so tender and full of flavor and the egg is always cooked to perfection. All in all, toki is a great place to come and get your ramen fix. My family and i come here a lot and its always a great time and experience.

Yes yes yes!!!!! Tiny and perfect. This jewel made me so happy. Complimentary cream cheese egg rolls were so good we got another order to go for dessert!!! OMG when these are hot they like melt in your mouth. Ahhhh. The saki was the perfect temp and made me feel as loved as the black garlic tonkatsu ramen did. They also don't give too few noodles like many places. Good amount of noodles. Great broth. Gyoza were great - my picky 11 year old liked them here and hasn't anywhere else. The two people working their behinds off in there never slowed down for a sec. they are super hard workers and seem very kind. I think they were the owners maybe.

Debating trying this place? DO IT! Based on the great reviews we decided to take the plunge and try it out. WE LOVED IT! We got edamame, two different ramen bowls and sushi rolls. Everything was great! 10/10 pricing was great too! It's a small place and when we went on a weekday it was packed but for good reason! Excited to go back and make this our go to place!

My work requires an ample amount of driving around Houston and surrounding areas. I've recently tried to adopt a more fish-centric diet so of course I heavily rely on eating sushi any chance I get! My coworker and I were soooo hungry. So we decided to Yelp for any decent sushi spots near where we were (Spring). We found Toki and immediately drove there. We get there and it's a nice, tiny cozy little spot with plenty of seating. The sushi chef has his stage in the back area with a TV above displaying traditional sushi preparation (PSA: when we were there it showed how to kill and prepare an eel so it was a bit graphic...) Then we saw there was a 3 ROLL COMBO for only $12.95. WTF THAT IS UNBEATABLE! I got a salmon, jalapeño escolar, and crazy roll. It also comes with a choice of soup or salad. The waitress was nice and also gave us these two cute little fried cream cheese sticks. I left very stuffed and satisfied. Now I know where to go to get food sushi without breaking the bank! read more

Been twice now. Service is friendly. Have only tried the ramen, spicy chicken, both times. Mediocre is the best way to describe it. Just underwhelming. May be good for sushi, but I don't care for raw, and cooked rolls are limited. read more

Nice change of pace for a restaurant in Spring. We had Miso Ramen and a cool dog with a house salad. Everything was delicious!! Price was perfect!! My new favorite place! This little place is great. The food is fresh, it tastes great and it is inexpensive compared to other restaurants in the area. The staff is VERY friendly and attentive. Service might be a bit slow since they only have one chef and a waitress, but if you are not in a rush this place will not disappoint...Also, if you are in a hurry, you can order online, so problem solved =) read more

This new spot is right outside my neighborhood. It's a little hidden and I typically don't notice many places within this strip center, but I'm glad I did. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us, but it was pretty empty so we sat ourselves. I checked in on yelp for the free appetizer, and we were given chicken dumplings, which weren't on the menu, and they were delicious. We each got a cup of miso soup, which was good, but nothing special. I ordered the Pink Lady Roll and my dad ordered the Shaggy Dog. Both rolls were rolled well and tasted amazing. This is a very small/wuiet restaurant with 6 four tops (3 booths and 3 tables) and some bar seating. It is good for a small group or family outing, but larger groups may have a harder time sitting together unless all the tables were open. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend this place to a friend, and will definitely return. read more

Since moving to the area, I've been settling for mediocre sushi for far too long. Toki is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I've had since moving to northwest Houston. The prices range from cheap to fair and the food is phenomenal. The service was also very friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. read more

This place has the best sushi on the area! It's a shame it's not as popular as some of the other venues. We enjoyed several rolls and some nigiri. The rice was perfect and the rolls were brought out in a timely manner. I would definitely keep coming back here. read more

Went again today walked in and the hole place was full so we just sat at the bar and omg the food was so good as always like I swear there sushi chief prepared us a delicious wonderful experience of flavor honestly knows how to make it and make it good there "yakuza" would be an amazing thing to try I had ever had it neither had my brother and both of use said we are getting that again next time as well as there shaggy dog and there gyoza is really good we scarfed down 3 orders before the fest of sushi that I will say again was so good compliments to the chef read more

For being so close to home, this place did not disappoint! I had dinner here with family & everyone was very pleased! The service was wonderful & everything tasted awesome! As for what we ordered, a lot, but it's a must! The Yakuza roll was a winner, the Hamachi Kama was perfect & ask for a side of spicy ponzu sauce, Salmon Ceviche was bomb the salmon is so buttery, we ordered way more, but those are what stuck out to me! Our waitress was the sweetest ever, she gave us cream cheese puffs on the house! If you're ever in the area or live in the area please consider eating here! You will not be disappointed!!! read more

Best ramen in in the spring area! It's a small (tiny) establishment and can sometimes get packed especially during weekend nights. But it's worth the wait! The cool dogs are so so good too! Just go and try it all! The waitress is so nice, always recommends my husband their new soups and brings out a complimentary snack. Love this place! read more

For the maki bowls, they were a nice size, and are actually the normal sized rolls you would get from the menu for a spicy salmon and eel roll. I thought for price would be simple hand rolls with just fish and rice and wrapper, but these had cucumber or avocado, sauces and nicely filled. Deliscious eel, spicy salmon had a surprisingly different delicious flavor to it and nice kick. For the spicy miso ramen, it's actually their original tonkotsu with miso and spiciness mixed in. The waitress recommended as the best flavor and although I haven't tried any of their others, it did have nice flavor. Creamy, with layers of flavor and a nice mouth feel that coated your tongue with umami. I am a spicy fanatic, so for me wasn't very spicy, but with chili oil available on the table I could increase the spicy profile. The nice thing here is the ramen toppings aren't all extra so a great deal. Came with chashu, 2 pieces, one on top had been fried with an excellent char and crunchiness to it, especially since the crunchy garlic was on top. Also for toppings were corn, bamboo shoots, nori, rice cakes,and half a boiled egg so no nickel and dime for toppings here . Fast and attentive service so if trying to get in and out on your lunch break, no problem. Quaint, small venue in shopping strip. Quiet though so nice to have conversation with your lunch date. I would recommend and definitely go again

I was so full from the gyro that I only ate one of the potatoes but didn't think it was very lemony at all. Customer service was excellent the entire time and they will even come to your table and take your plate away as if they are full service, which they aren't . I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. It was delicious as well.

The noise level was moderate throughout our stay such that one could easily carry on a conversation with table mates without having to scream. Almost all patrons were nicely dressed. Since this is a Michelin acknowledged restaurant two years in a row, we were expecting uniqueness and we were not disappointed. That said, food was very good, but I would not rate it as spectacular. The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've had in a long time. My wife and I love ramen and we order from places like Jinya or whenever we can go to Chinatown, Tigen Den. This restaurant is up there with the greats. My wife said this is the best ramen she's had. I had two Cool Dogs. The Akita and the Spicy Dog. The Akita tasted like a tempura roll in a sesame seed hot dog bun and the Spicy Dog was a beef frank with fresh jalapeño, spicy mayo, crab, and tempura flakes on top. Only complaint is that the frank looked a little overcooked but it was still juicy on the inside and a great snap quality to it. Will definitely order from it from now on.
