I've always admired how amazing their brows look after Gianinne works her magic, so I was excited to try it for myself. Wow--what a game changer! The entire process took less than an hour, and the results last about three weeks. Brows truly frame your face, and Gianinne's tinting skills make such a noticeable difference. I've been receiving so many compliments on my brows since my visit! Beyond the fantastic results, I loved discovering this beautiful spa right around the corner from my house. By far the oddest aftermath on getting a manicure I have ever experienced. I went to Toi Spa plantation walk for a self-care day as I was celebrating my birthday! Amy assisted me on Mani/Pedi. Now I requested dip powder for my Mani as I know how long it typically last and it's healthier for your nails. I was wearing the set for just 4 days and the color material popped off in the middle of me having a discussion with family. (The thumb nail) I went to the salon to get it replaced and they charged me $7 to replace that one nail. Which I thought was an issue as it's pour dip powder material. Anywho I went about my days and a week goes in and all the color started lifting and coming off on their own. I did not force nor remove them myself. It seems whatever dip powder material they use is faulty. Unfortunately I did not like my service as a whole. As a replacement should've been offered for free not charge $7 a nail. I've never had this occurred in any other nail salon I've gone to get dip powder. It typically last me a good three weeks not fall off in 1 week. This is by far the worse customer service experience. When I went to get the one replacement of my thumb the front desk team was extremely rude, having outside conversations while attending me and not honoring what I shared on the issue. This was my first visit at this location and it truly was the best! I came from Deerfield Beach as my mom usually gets her hair done next door and decided to get a pedicure and Dip nails. My pedicure was seriously so relaxing and refreshing! Ryan's massages are incredible! He's great with his hands and took his time with my pedicure and did an awesome job! Elena did my Dip set and was so accommodating and very attentive to exactly what I wanted and was looking for. She answered all my questions and was really kind! Everything was perfect and everyone was incredibly nice. I don't live close but just this initial visit is the reason I will be coming back again and again! This place is wonderful. Always a lovely time at any of the Toi spa locations!. Toi spa has an air of modern elegance and great customer service. My usual go-to for manicures and massages is Toi spa. For my most recent visit, It was my first time at this location. I was more than grateful they were able to accommodate my last minute appointment for a gel mani and a regular pedi before my vacation. Sarina started me off with my pedicure and Lucy did my manicure. They have such great personalities that it made my experience even better. Will be going and back and requesting them. Toi spa also offers other services besides nails, including a variety of massages. I've had the best experience with Ysabella. Ysabella has availability at all of the Toi spa locations so it is easy to book all over town. She has hands of gold!!! I work on the computer all day and she gets rid of all my knots and stressor areas !! If you have a desk job you definitely need her. Best massage therapist experience I've ever had! I'm visiting my best friend and of course we had a girls day planned which included our nails. This is a new place we both we're trying and we really liked it. Clean and very open and bright. Plays good music. Icing on the cake is if they offered champagne...lol. We both got pedicures and gel manicures. We each had a different person and we both got the same color on our hands. Let me tell you her stylist was very detailed, careful and took his time. He did a great job. Way better than my person. I strongly suggest if you come here or want to try it you request Kyle. As being a newbie at Toi Spa Plantation....it will not be my last! :) There are so many reasons why I enjoyed getting my nails done here: 1st: Anna (or Ann, I do apologize, but I know her name started with an A:) front desk lady, was chill and sweet. She greeted my friend and I. We shared with her how our previous nail place, has gone downhill. In other words, they have not been doing their job well. 2nd: I noticed they take COVID precautions! They wipe down your area before you sit down. Everyone is wearing masks. Oh, Nail Tech wear gloves ! Overall, the place is quite clean and organized. They even have a place to place your umbrella. 3rd: Originally, I was suppose to get Dan (Nail Tech.) and my friend was suppose to get Johnny (Nail Tech.). However, there was a slight mix-up, but it did not matter at all because both of the guys were great. My friend was satisfied with Dan. Johnny was able to keep a conversation going! He was polite and sweet. In the end, I called my nails "Johnny's Nails" because he likes Black and Red. :) 4th: I do not know if it is me, but the last place I went to for my nails had the bathroom in the far back. It was a struggle because you would have to pass others doing nails or pedi... The point is: I love how the bathroom is separate from the nail section. It is located in main entrance to the right. I feel that the way they separate, it great! Lastly, the cost for a dip+ acrylic was $45, which is not bad at all. THE BEST PART was when the front desk lady told me, there is no additional charge if you want to have rainbow colors haha. That caught my attention the most. The designs are extra -- depending on your nail designs, you would have to speak to the nail tech and they would give you the amount you would pay. I honestly don't ever leave review, as a niece to a business owner this affects the business. But I couldn't let this go any longer. I been getting pedicures and manicure all my life and this has been the worse, most expensive place ever for no reason. The "basic pedicure" was so crappy felt like the tech had no energy to scrub my callus or dead skin. Just terrible !! I am using getting the most out of my pedicure and these technicians suck ass!! The place over charges for the slightest request. It's absurd. My aunt has owned a salon and the only reason I can't go is because it's so far and out my way. Definitely need a different nail salon. Isn't it a normal expectation that a gel manicure should not chip after 4-5 days...no matter your "lifestyle"? That's the point of paying almost $50 for a longer lasting manicure rather than get a regular manicure, right? Evidently, that is not the mindset of the owner of Toi Plantation. I am not a "Karen" and have never written a poor review about anything, but this situation warrants one at this time. I went back to the salon and, kindly, asked what could be done to fix my nails (5 had chipped as of day 5). I was told my tech wasn't there that day and the front desk person would have to call the owner (not manager) to see how it could be handled. I had hoped to have them fixed that day, but was understanding that it wouldn't be fair to have someone other than the original tech fix them if it would be done without charge. An appt. was set with original tech for the next morning pending a callback for a possible fix that day. I received a callback telling me that I would have to pay full price to have them fixed as "everybody is different and has different lifestyles that can affect how long the manicure can last........" I have been getting gel manicures for years (same "lifestyle") and NEVER had one chip after a week! I let the front desk person know I knew she was just "the messenger", but didn't appreciate the suggestion that it was MY fault the manicure didn't last. I asked how to contact the owner since I was told that's who made the call. She said she could only have the manager (Anthony) contact me later despite my request to speak with the manager then. I had an unexpected excellent experience here at Toi Plantation. After negative nail experiences at another nail salon in the past, I was blown away by the customer service, professionalism, courteousness, and cleanliness of this spa. My friend and I booked appointments online for dip powder manicures and pedicures. Upon entry, we were amazed by how clean the entire spa was. The space felt very open, very humbling, and very relaxing! I worked with Dan, and my friend worked with Johnny. We were able to sit near each other during our manicure, which was great! Both men were extremely cordial, attentive, and perfectionistic! We four engaged in lengthy and funny conversations, which showed just how much their staff wanted us to feel comfortable working with them. Moreso, Dan, in particular, was extremely detail-oriented when working on the designs for my fails. He worked so diligently and gracefully to ensure that my nails looked almost identical to the example in the photo I provided him. Johnny seemed to work wonderfully for my friend and even fixed one of her nails when my friend brought to his attention that her nail felt "bumpy" because the sparkle wasn't smoothed down enough. Though I only had my nails done, I'm sure Toi Plantation's other spa treatments and services must be suitable as well! My acrylic nails were already previously in an almond shape so nothing too extra had to really be done . Worst pedicure and dip powder soak off EVERRRRRR I felt like I was being punked! I was clearly upset leaving the place and the girls at the front have serious attitude and don't even care to ask how the experience was. The technician (I believe it was V) who was clearly new have a CRAP pedicure didn't even massage my feet at all just slapped lotion on my legs. Proceeded to make a comment about mosquito bites I had. I normally don't go to this location but I had a friend in town and it's close to my house so I thought why not. NOW I KNOW I made a horrible mistake switching it up today. This girl needs more practice and it should've been stated she is new did I mind being her practice dummy because I sure do mind I wanted to relax today I have a two month old at home and this was the worst hour ever! And to top it off my dip powder soak off I asked her to cut my nails to trim them down so they aren't sharp...they were round and NOW they're SQUARE and even more sharp I need to go home and finish the job...I'm spending money and want to relax and the last thing I wanted to do was spend $54 on a SHIT experience. I got there exactly at 2:30 pm and they told me that my appointment was made for 2:15pm and that they have another after me and that they are not able to do my service. First time there and that's what I get. Well bad for them because they just lost a customer and honestly it's fucked up to play like that with people's time. I NEVER asked them to change my appointment at all!!! And yes this was exactly today Nov 13 at 2:30pm. Anthony or however is the manager please make sure your employees know how to treat customers. How are they just going to change my appointment because the girl Lily (that I don't even know) had more free time? That doesn't make sense at all. My last nail place has been slacking as of lately, so I made an appointment for dip w/ soak off with Anthony. The place itself is very quiet and relaxing. Very clean and neat. I was helped immediately! They offer you something to drink when you sit down. Anthony was awesome. He listened to what I wanted in regards to size/shape and he is extremely detail oriented. I went to get my nails done Wednesday September 13, Dip powder manicure with extensions. I was told it was 45 dollars, Okay np. They did not even do cuticles, clean nails or any stuff they do in a mani, then I came to the register to pay and they said the total is 50$ because it's 5$ for a diff. nail shape!? Seriously? First was my eyebrows it was off to a great start until the employee recommended her weight loss services to me while I was lying on the table waiting for the henna to set. She finished and the tinting came out uneven. I didn't bother asking her to fix it because I didn't want to continue to listen to her sales pitch. My pedicure was next again off to a great start until it came time for the polish. Employees in front of us were digging around for products and the lady doing my pedicure became distracted by watching them dig around for items. She was so disturbed by them she opened her phone to record the complaint on the Toi employee website all while applying polish to my toes. The end result was my toes looking like I did them myself. Halfway through the appointment I realized that she bit off more than she could chew and so I decided to just keep it simple with one color on my nails. She seemed annoyed that I did not allow her to complete the design and it felt like she threw my hands back at me. At the end when I went to go pay, she whispered about the appointment to the cashier and waited around, pretending to be on her phone to see if I would tip. I'll start off my saying I love Toi Spa but would never go back for a massage again. While very friendly, the therapist was poorly trained, inefficient with the time spent and lacked the basic understanding of swedish massage techniques. Imagine someone running water and washing their hands half way through a massage? I would have had more luck reducing stress rolling on a ball at home. Would recommend implementing post-treatment surveys and secret shopping to address some of these concerns. People will pay for self care...when it's worth it. Super disappointed. read more

This is the worst nail salon. Technician cut my skin during pedicure and didn't properly remove gel from my nails. Don't ever go here!!!!!!

I booked a last minute appointment early this morning to do a dip mani/gel pedi with Yvonne because my normal nail tech was booked for this week. I was sat down promptly and was told Tiffany would be starting my soak off. Not sure what happened along the way, but I never met Yvonne. I warned Tiffany that my fingers are sensitive the the buffer because of a bad experience I had with a different tech at another location. She was gentle with the buffer, but even though I chose a solid color for the dip and it was straightforward the entire experience felt rushed and haphazard. I asked for round nails and I got more of a square shape with rounded edges. The color looks fine thankfully, but she used two layers of the transparent dip at the tip end of my nails and then added another three layers of the red color I chose on top of the whole nail giving the thick and bubbly appearance that no one wants. She buffed it down some, but not evenly and the base of my nails on my thumbs is crooked. Seeing what pretty designs she does on their Instagram and the reviews people wrote on her makes it only more disappointing that she did such a rough job on a straightforward dip manicure. Claudia did my gel pedi and was really nice. Probably the only reason I would give this location 3 stars. I told the front desk lady to split my tip between the two of them because I was never told their names and she just said "okay". I still don't know who Yvonne is and I had to literally call the desk back to find out names. All in all, I don't think I'll be coming back to either the university or plantation locations because when it isn't one thing it's another issue and I really hate paying $100 for a less than great experience/amazing job on what is a very simple ask. read more
