Especially with Tai as your acupuncturist. Tai is the best! She's caring, sweet knowledgeable, and has an amazing sense of humor. Being seen by Tai for group acupuncture is going to be added to my weekly self care routine. I even booked my mom an appointment with her for next week. This pass Saturday it happened and I knew I had to find someone that could really help me with this issue. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Phil, he took his time to help me get on the table, listen to my all of my concerns and addressed all the issues with my back along with other areas. I have never been worked on like that before when I had one of these back episodes in the past. He knew exactly when to apply pressure and when to lighten up. Throughout the whole process he would check in with me to make sure I was getting relief. When I tell you I was in complete shock at how much he minimized my pain afterwards I wanted to cry! This man knows what he is doing and really listens to his clients. I've only had 2 sessions with him so far and my back is a million times better just after that first session. I have tried physical therapy and other places to help keep this at bay and nothing has worked this quick and provided so much relief. He is now going to be apart of my monthly routine to ensure this never comes back..Thank you Phil for all your help!

I found him on Yelp and went to his website late Sunday night and saw he had an 8 am appointment available for the next morning. I wasn't sure if I booked if he'd actually get a notification and know I was coming so I texted him on the number listed here around 7:30 and he told me come on in. He was also nice enough to accommodate me at 8:30 even though he only offers massage from 8-9 on Monday mornings. When I arrived he asked me what issues I was having and what I was looking for and then got to work. I've never had a deep tissue/sports massage before so I wasn't sure what to expect but it was in many ways like a regular spa massage. You know, get naked (or undress to your comfort level) and lay on the massage table. His was heated which was a nice touch. Like others mentioned he was great about checking in with me during and asking if I was ok or needed more/less pressure etc. I found he was able to immediately hone in on the sore spots in my neck and shoulders and used just the right amount of pressure. I was looking for a strong touch and got it. Very happy with the massage and the pricing was more than reasonable. I've received massages from a few different therapists at both their Fort Lauderdale location and the one here in Plantation, but what keeps me coming back to this Plantation Walk location is literally the best massage therapist on the planet -- Ace. He is very popular among my friends and quite a few of us see him regularly. His understanding of the human body -- muscles, ligaments, tendons -- how to treat the body, how to stretch the body, and how to work out those pesky knots is honestly incredible. The man massages like it's a work of art, which I truly think it is. If I've been non-compliant with stretching after the gym, I can count on Ace to get me walking again. If my back and neck feel broken after stressful long shifts at work, I know I can count on him to help me regain mobility and stay pain-free. If I could, I would totally get the membership again. They also are not very pushy about it, and canceling the membership is not difficult. The bathrooms are very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The entire vibe of the studio is calming, pleasant, and relaxing. In the background they play ocean waves, which I personally find very soothing. The lighting is dim and the space smells lightly of essential oils, which really adds to the relaxing atmosphere. As far as the massage spaces themselves, they are not fully private rooms but rather individual areas separated by curtains. There is still plenty of privacy and the lighting is dim so you don't feel like people are looking at you. Of course, guests should still be courteous by silencing their phones and speaking quietly. Before your massage, there is a pre-debrief room where you talk with your therapist about any problem areas, ailments, or what you are hoping to get out of the session. Post-massage you also briefly debrief in that same room to make sure you feel good and everything went well. Ace is extremely popular, so I would definitely recommend booking ahead if you want to see him. Honestly, this place is a little piece of heaven.

When it came time to pay she asked me if I would be leaving the tip on the card or cash. I told her how much gratuity I was leaving & she stated "90 minute massage which was great you leave more money $30" and pointed to the suggested tip amount on the wall. I WAS SOOOOO LIVID! I clearly stated "You can't tell me what to leave, you don't know people's situation ... and you should be grateful to even receive ANYTHING". She laughed and said "I gave you great massage $30 tip." I told her how unprofessional she is & the fact that she had the audacity to tell me what I NEED to leave as a tip is outrageous. She & the lady continued to speak to each other making sure I didn't know what was being said. I paid for my service & as I am walking out the door the lady who did my massage walked out the door behind me and was saying things in a language I do not understand. Overall, I was appalled by the whole situation & I will not be going back. Leaving a tip is NOT demanded & not included in the service. Just be thankful for even receiving something & don't harass someone for MORE money.
