It was my first time there in this small quaint restaurant in Leblon. The seating is relatively small, probably approximately 30-40 people inside, and a couple of tables outside. The menu is pretty diverse, I went in thinking Japanese, and while Japanese is their specialty, I'd say its a mixture. There was Pad Thai, dumplings, spring rolls, which are not items you tend to find in a Japanese restaurant.
We shared an appetizer (carne seca dumplings with a pepper jelly sauce) which was an interesting combination. A mix of brazil and asia. We also had a Sushi Combination dish(~R$90). Salmon, tuna, white fish - all were pretty fresh and really pretty. Should have taken a photo. It was nice that we were able to ask them to switch out the California rolls for tekkamaki, as none of us were keen on California rolls. For dessert we tried their Brownie & ice cream. Nutty and flavorful, a good end to the dinner (and yes, nothing traditionally asian about it, but still great!).
They have a full bar, and menus in English as well. Was a nice place for a quick dinner catch-up with friends. Three stars for now, as it was a good start, maybe will go again to try other options on the menu, to see if I am a Fan :) read more
