Monica S. is right on with her description of Deusimar as a neighborhood sushi spot. On our walk home from the grocery store we stopped for dinner outside. A family of three along with a mother and her two toddlers joined us throughout the evening while delivery guys hung out nearby. (Delivery seemed to be very popular.)
There wasn't a long list of crazy rolls with wasabi mayo, strawberry or jalapeno...just fish and rice. We had egg rolls with shrimp and catupiry as an app and split the combinado for one, which included 15 pieces of sashimi and 10 pieces of nigiri. Combined with a beer and a vodka lychee (which they served with sugar packets so you can control the amount of sweetness), we left feeling satisfied. Service was steady-paced, prices reasonable and the food comforting and simple.
Also, did you know that a 10% service fee will be added to your check at restaurants? Therefore no other tip is expected unless the service went above expectations. read more
