Refused to tow the car parked 2 feet in front of my door even though it had a ticket and their company towing sign was on my building right next to the illegally parked car. Not to mention the person I talked to on the phone almost immediately started yelling and was a rude, pathetically dramatic man. Don't waste your time with these people. read more

Todd's Towing after exhibiting aggressive driving & taking risks on 76W. Called the company to inform and was met with an attitude to match that of the driver I was calling about. Apart from asking the color of the truck, didn't care to know any other details and hung up [shoulder shrug]. Can't imagine them vouching any car they tow would be safe in their care, based solely on the driving of this employee. I'm sure Todd's is great and all; but sharing a stretch of 2-lane road with this particular employee was a nightmare. read more

Todds Towing - Todd's Towing after exhibiting aggressive driving & taking risks on 76W. - Towing Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

These guys helped me big time this morning. I used a bad air pump at the Sunoco on ridge and it took all the air out my front tire. I was stuck with my toddler unable to drive my car and the lug nuts were on too tight for me to put on the spare. They showed up in 5 min and helped me with my tire. So nice and respectful. Very reasonable! read more

This business and a bunch of low life thieves! They towed my car from my apartment complex and my wife left the doors unlocked, so they stole my parking permit to validate their tow. The permit didn't magically disappear as it has been there daily since I was given to me. They are full time scammers that will do anything to make a quick buck. This business needs to be shut DOWN!!! read more

Todd's is local and has been around for a long time. Throughout that time, they've consistently provided fast, affordable towing services. For example, they recently towed my car from East Falls to my very tight driveway on a windy, supersteep hill in Roxborough for only $50. They got my call at 10:00 in the morning, came by to get my keys by 10:45 and had the car in my driveway within the hour for me to fix the next day! I don't know about you, but when you need a tow truck, you're already pissed off about why you need one in the first place, and you're already counting zeroes as you imagine what's wrong with your car and how much it's going to cost to fix it. You don't need to worry about getting gouged by the tow truck driver after waiting hours for him to arrive. Todd's makes an agonizing process easy and a lot less painful. read more

Absolutely terrible and shady people. A while back they towed my car from a vacant parking lot on my street, which hadn't had any signs previously and then they put in two barely visible ones. Fine, whatever, my fault for not seeing the signs I guess. The next day when I was freaking out, trying to determine if my car had been stolen.... I finally saw one of the signs and called. They said they'd be open at 10. It had snowed the day before AND I had to ask my friend for a ride to their lot. We finally got to the lot (sliding most of the way on ice) and saw that a sign in their windows said "cash only card machine down." So then we had to go drive around finding an atm. Turns out it seems their card machine is always "down." Fine. We get back and my friend leaves my wife and I there. No one is around. It's pretty damn cold. We call at 10:15am and they say they're on their way back and should be there in 15. We call again at 11:15 and same answer. Someone finally arrived at 12!!! What the hell! If you say you're open, be open. If you say you'll be there in 15, be there in 15! I also took issue with the fact that they had the gate open with all the towed cars while no one was there. Anyone could have come and stolen one, including mine. I thought about just taking mine back while I was at it. Shady and terrible. read more

The lowest thieves. My wife and I parked in a development visiting friends on Saturday night. Many, many open spots in the pouring rain. Not at a bar, not a crowded area. One tiny sign 200 yards away. Towed away in an open lot in the pouring rain. When we went to pick up our car...what a surprise; a printed sign that "our credit card machine is broken...cash only." It was just an easy opportunity for them to scoop some cash from someone who fell into their trap. read more

A tow truck was following us getting onto 76 and the person in front of us stopped for a confusing red light--the driver lays on his horn seconds after the car stops. Then of course he rides up our ass. We get in the left lane to pass the car and the tow truck gets behind us and puts his high beams on. As we pass the confused car the tow truck passes us on the right cutting off the car. We flick our high beams and the truck turns on spot lights he has on the back of his truck to hook up cars. Unsafe and crude without even an interaction or conversation! read more

Had my vehicle towed from an apartment complex between 10pm-2am. Called them at 2:15 and was told they did indeed tow my truck. But that they were closed until the morning. Forced to Uber to a hotel for the night. Went back next morning, was told their credit card machine was down, Uber back to wawa for an atm. Bottom of the Barrell work here. read more

Had my car towed about 1/2 mile and cost $50, i told the driver to place my car in the driveway since it would be ticketed if he left it on the street. He made barely any effort to attempt to get my car in the driveway; i didn't have cash so he said was going to call me to get my cc info, which he didn't do until 2 days later. I didn't return or answer their calls so the guy actually came to my house and i told him he didn't put my car in the driveway as i requested. He got angry and left, then called me a little while later threatening to send it to collections if i didn't pay; my credit isn't good so i was forced to pay him. I had a neighbor help me put the car in the driveway. I would never ever ever use this jerk / scam artist again!!!!! read more

SCAM This business is a scam. They will tell you cash only, which is completely illegal for towing business. Express that you know your legal rights, and the card machine may magically start working. If not, call the police. They did this to me and an 80 year old woman behind me, who was barely capable of walking. After threatening to call the police, their card machine started working for me and the lady - I made sure she was taken care of as well. After the encounter, I asked for the names of the two men running the business that day in order to file a complaint. They refused to tell me their names. I have reported them to BBB, and many others have done the same. If you are towed to this place, know it is illegal for them to pocket cash for tax evasion purposes. Call the cops if they refuse to take your credit card. read more

Obviously it sucked that my car got towed. When I called Todd's the voice message said I'd get a call back in 10 minutes and they did. Then he sent someone out to the office to let me get my car out. I was told someone would be there in 10 min and someone came out in that time. I paid, got my car, no problem. Had my car back within 25 min of calling and the guy even empathized with me saying the place I got towed from wasn't marked that well. read more

We have been sitting outside this business for an hour... It says they close at 12 we got here from a location 6 mins away from where towed so we were at location wayyyyy before closing and was called from a jersey wildwood number saying they were on there way in this sketchy area and noome came... They demanded cash and we walked to the gate and the car isn't even in the lot... Which means they are driving after hours with the car on a back of truck who does that.... Cops called filing a police report read more

Called Todd's Towing at 8:30pm on a Sunday, after trying a few other companies who weren't able to help me. They came all the way to East Falls in under 10 minutes to come take care of my car. I have used many tow companies in the past, including AAA, and none have been as fast, friendly, or easy to work with as Todd's. If you need a tow, call Todd's. read more

This place is horrible. First off, they damaged my car when they towed it from the spot it was "illegally" parked which I put in quotes because it was not illegally parked. They damaged the bumper and refused to own up to it. They also tried the trick that people have written about where the card machine isn't working to try to get me to pay cash. When I threatened to call the cops they somehow got it working. Horrible place, horrible awful people. read more

Nothing but ignorant trash who tow the trucks for this company! If you don't have a contract with the city, you don't have a right to tow the car. Listening to an uneducated person speaking is painful. Guess towing and thieving is the only smarts your drivers possess. It's sad towing illegally is the only way you know how to make a buck. Worst part is this person most likely procreated; creating more ignorant people. My car didn't even get towed but watching and listening to what took place was painful. Your loser driver wasn't even man enough to speak, running to the drivers seat like a coward, because he lacks the smarts to have an intelligent conversation. I am ever so thrilled I received an education and don't have to steal for a living. I could continue but then it would make me just as much a loser. read more

Towing companies make their business towing cars, which sucks when you accidentally parked in a tow-away zone...but the parking was all my fault, I understand that. Todd's Towing failed to report my car towed however, so when I went outside to find my car missing, the police had no record of the tow. As much fun as it is to wait for the police in the freezing cold on Christmas Eve to fill out a stolen vehicle report on my car...it all could have been avoided if they had followed proper procedure. Thanks for the anxiety attack. read more

Got a flat tire in the middle of the night on a Monday, terrible situation. Called Todd's and they answered right away and sent someone as soon as possible. The man who helped me was extremely kind, and even made conversation with me since he saw how upset I was. He fixed my tire extremely fast and even gave me information on what to do regarding the tire after he left. I was not expecting this good of service especially at that time of night but I am extremely pleased!! Hopefully I am never in that situation again but I now know who to call. read more

Do not use this place. He showed up with a tow dolly and destroyed my vehicle's 4 wheel drive. I assumed he had a flat bed tow truck. This man refuses to accept any responsibility for his actions. read more

This is an interesting review to write. We called the day before to setup a tow and got a time. Called in the AM to see if they could come early, which they agreed to. I unfortunately had to wait 2+ hours for the guy to arrive (having to make a call after the first hour). Howe, the driver was apologetic and very friendly, plus the price was the best by far. So, if I had to write this while waiting it would've been one star, but the overall experience wasn't bad. read more

It seems like this place has a long wrap sheet of trying to pocket cash. Same old story. Car was towed and told it was $200 cash. When I fought back and said it clearly states on their sign that credit cards are accepted, I was told the machine was broken. I told them it's not my problem. Then one of the attendants hood rat friends offered to drive me to an ATM. I told him to fuck off and I'll contact the police. I was then told that they were doing me a favor because it was 7:29 and they don't open until 9am on Sunday. I had to remind them that it was Saturday and the sign says 8am. So I walked away and was waiting for 15min when they came out and told me they could try the credit card machine. Must have been a miracle, because it worked, 15min before their boss was set to arrive in the office. read more

I felt harassed and unsafe. The driver was very rude and overly flirtatious that I felt I may be sexually assaulted. He was also careless with my vehicle. NEVER CALL in an emergency read more

My car just got towed there. We'll see. My car was picked up from a private apartment building complex.
