Nadeen came out to repair some sprinkler lines I had busted while doing my deck. From the pre call to tell me when she would arrive to actually listening to me and then providing a solution that ensured my sprinklers were fully functional but also covering all my lawn where she saw a couple brown spots. Definitely use again for any landscaping!!! read more

I've used Todd's Services for various stamped concrete projects and irrigation system repairs and maintenance. Always timely and efficient. They recently identified a blown landscape lighting transformer and timer. Nadeen Peters arrived 1st thing this morning and tackled the project. Nadeen was informative, efficient and a pleasure to work with. All systems are now a go! read more

Keegan did a great job starting up our sprinkler system in our new home that hasn't seen sprinkler maintenance in some years. He bestowed a great deal of knowledge and worked expeditiously to repair any leaks and other issues that arose. read more

You can always count on Todd's services to show up on time and to be efficient. Nadeen turned on our sprinkler system for the season and was able to answer all of my questions. I really appreciated her professionalism and knowledge. She was also kind to my dogs, so that's an added bonus! read more

Very happy that we went with Todd's Services. Tom was our designer, and Josh Taylor was our foreman on site. We were recommended by our neighbor who also had great results. They have been very efficient, transparent, and professional. People love how our deck and our landscaping turned out. I've appreciated their artistic recommendations, and haven't been disappointed. I would not hesitate in using Todd's Services again if needed. You won't be disappointed! read more

I was at McDonald's on Dixie Highway in Waterford. Todd's Services were doing landscaping there. I pulled through the drive-thru to order a Coffee. When i was waiting to order 4 men working for Todds Services were yelling mean things at me, calling me "fat". Saying really loudly look at that girl in the Maroon Fusion she's huge, look at her arms, wow. Do you see her? I felt completely humiliated. The girl taking my order couldn't hear through the speaker because they were yelling so loudly to each other about me. I felt terrible after I left. Those men completely embarrassed me, humiliated me, and made me feel disgusting. I would never get services from their company. The way they talked about me, imagine what they could be saying about you. read more

We had this company come winterize our sprinklers this season. The two employees were very friendly and professional and thorough. Devin was awesome! The whole time they had a smile and we're very kind! read more

Todd's Landscaping are cheap hacks. They did some work on my neighbors yard, and subsequently wore down my grass in the process. When they seeded my neighbors yard, they made sure not to sprinkle any seeds on my side, even though, I talked to the job supervisor, and he assured me that they would take care of everything. I also asked my neighbor to remind them to restore my yard afterwards. Nothing. As for my neighbors yard, nothing more than mediocre, after spending $10,000. Don't waste your time and money! read more

I am more than pleased with the patio Todds created for us! The design process was easy!! They were responsive to every one of my calls and emails throughout the entire process. During the installation the employees were considerate, easy to talk to, and explained each step of the job. We will definitely use Todds in the future. Quality job!!!! We just had an amazing experience with Scott LeFaivre from Todd's Services. He took the time to really explain our system and make all the changes we asked for. The level of customer service was at least 5 stars! Highly recommend Todd's Services as well as Scott LeFairve! read more

I hired Todd's to correct water drainage and major lawn problem. The latter was partly due to 3 large dogs. They made recommendations they said would meet our needs. The result was almost complete failure. We continue to suffer most of the same water runoff and the lawn was left worse than it was prior to their work. When I complained about the latter they said "we did what you hired us to do" and "what do you expect, you have these dogs" - hire someone else read more

I cannot say enough how great this company is! Mike and Nadine came to do a check on our sprinklers for our new house. We have been dealing with all sorts of issues for our new house and Nadine was very respectful of keeping us within our budget but still fixing what we could. She did fantastic work and had Mike join her to get the work done faster. On top of that they were able to find and fix a wire to our light post that another company had said was untraceable and would cost $2000 to fix! So not only did they repair our very damaged sprinklers that hadn't been cared for by the previous owners but they also saved us $2000 in repairs to our light post!!! It is so hard to find honest and trustworthy companies that will go the extra mile for you! I will be recommending them to everyone I know! read more

I don't normally write reviews. But I must say that I felt lucky to have Todd's Services doing my backyard and front yard job! From the first time talk to designer and planner Ryan, you know these are the people you can trust! They are extremely on time, careful, and professional people! And it turned out that I was right! The job was fabulously done by Chris, Jesus, and Daniel. Thank you guys! Couldn't be happier! On top of great job, they gave me very fair price! There were several other companies I interviewed and gave me quote thousands of dollars more. I would without any hesitation to recommend Todd's Services for anyone who is looking for a professional, honest, and trustworthy landscaper! read more

Todd's installed my sprinkler system and landscaped my front yard and a section of the backyard in 2007. I've used them every year since then to start the system up in the spring and shut it off in the fall. Nadeen is very thorough as she checks the zones to be sure they're working properly. If something is off, she explains what my options are, approximate cost, and takes care of it then. She also runs through the system settings to check watering times for each zone, frequency, etc. Everyone I've had contact with at the company has been pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Todd's Services for your landscaping and sprinkler system needs. read more

I recently had some irrigation work done by Todd Services. Lee Carlson was my sales guy that handled everything. I had a great experience. He made everything easy and flawless. The entire irrigation system was put thru a health check and it hasn't run this good since it was 1st installed 10 years ago. Highly recommend them for any and all work regarding outdoor services. read more

Had complete sod & sprinkler system installed. Would never use them again!Spent tens of thousands of dollars for poor quality sod, an irrigation system that broke spilling tons of gallons of water from it that had to be repaired with no compensation for water loss & terrible customer service! They are only about the below line...theirs! The clovers were not roots in the ground as they were there at the time of planting. My water bill was $1000.00 after gushing water from my house for over 3 hours!!! If you want to see it I will be happy to forward it to you. You offered to pay me $40 which I never received & frankly was minuscule to the cost of your work! I would have been pleased if the work was done right, if you stood by your products & service with quality workmanship but you didn't! read more

A+ Experience. We called Todd's in to perform some remediation required as a result of another landscaper and they definitely set the bar for what I would expect from a landscaping services provider. They were courteous, had appropriate services contracts, and accurately scoped the work required. They delivered the services as promised efficiently taking only part of the day to deliver that which the other landscaper we contracted wasn't able to deliver at all. I wouldn't hesitate to contract Todd's for the balance of the work we need to have done. read more

I asked Todd Services for a quote for a significant landscaping operation -- I was met with rude staff - a truly bizarre experience. After numerous phone calls and an onsite visit, no quote was every provided and I was treated very rudely by staff claiming that their time as a service provider was more valuable than mine -- clearly a case of a company not understanding "the customer is always right" principal. They do not seem hungry for business and clearly leadership there is lacking. Any project with this company is at risk and bound to cause headaches for engaged clients. Steer clear. read more

Projects start at $ 10,000 - $ 100,000; you can't even get someone to your house without approving to spend at least $ 10,000. Not sure what all you get for $ 10,000 since I was merely told the price prior to "Todd's" bothering to schedule a quote. Obviously, "Todd" can't be bothered with you unless you are going to spend at least $ 10,000 for his services.... what services I'm still not sure, since the only information given was that if you don't want to spend at least $ 10,000 for our services then we are not interested. read more

Todd's crew just finished my new lanscaping today and it went great! David the initial sales guy was great. He advised me what I needed for drainage and gave me good design options for plants and overall design. Further, the install went flawless thanks to the team of Jake, Lee and Ben! They were very respectful of the property, did great and quick work and the project turned out exactly as was promised and I expected. Bottom line, everyone was very friendly to work with whether in person or over the phone and everything was delivered on. Most importantly, the day of install they showed up right on time which is rare when it comes to this kind of work. Thanks Todd's Services crew for a job well done. I will definitely recommend. read more

We've been with Todd's Services for 23 yrs, since they put in the irrigation system and landscaped our brand new home in Pittsfield Twp. They open and close our system every year. Upon opening the sprinklers for the new season, Todd's changes damaged heads, sets the water output per zone, etc.- typical maintenance procedures. This year Steve LaFairre serviced our home and he did an excellent job. He was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. We had a 3 point check list that we wanted address and he did everything we requested and coincidentally, all were on HIS check list as well. Very pleased with Steve, we will request him again next season. KBF read more

Several years ago Todd's installed our sprinkler system and laid sod in our new home. We were pleased with their work at that time. In the past year we had a leak in one of the valves. We had a Todd's repair person come to investigate... he found nothing, closed the system and said he would fix it in the spring. Come spring he opened the system and then explained he would have to come back because there wasn't enough time for the leak to let out enough water. On the third service call he dug a hole around the valve which filled with water but he couldn't find a leak. He suggested it was the city water line leaking and flowing uphill to my valve. I finally went to another business. They found the leak within five minutes and fixed it. I won't be using Todd's ever again. read more

Have used Todd's Services for our landscaping over the last few years and have been thrilled with the results. From design with Tom to design/construction with Gary (absolutely fabulous!), we have loved everything. Recently, we had a problem with an irrigation line/system and Todd's came out right away to figure out what the problems were. Howard repaired a line and helped me with the irrigation settings. Mike was able to help me reprogram the system and stayed on the phone until it was working properly. Howard could not have been nicer the whole time. Highly recommend!! read more

From the time Chris called me to schedule a walk through for the quote until Frank left after having done some irrigation adjustments, everyone handled themselves respectfully and professionally. The on-site leaders communicated clearly with me, and my entire lawn was removed, new topsoil spread, and the very high quality new sod laid in only two days! Todd's Services made me feel like my business mattered to them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their sod replaced. read more

This review is for Todd's lawn care services. I previously used Todd's to design and install a patio and I was very pleased with the service and work. Based on that positive experience I asked Todd's to clear out a bunch of landscaping in my back yard and replace it with just grass. I told them I was willing to wait until a different time of year if it was better and that I would do seed or sod based on their recommendation (i.e., I was in no hurry and I wanted whatever would yield the best results). They recommended seeding and did the planting in the fall. This was a few years ago. The following spring the lawn did not appear to be coming in well and I called multiple times for advice on what to do and followed what I was told. Things did not improve and I took pictures and emailed and called to complain, and they finally came out and did some additional seeding and/or fertilizing. Whatever they did didn't improve things. The next spring (last year) the lawn was even worse with old plants/weeds reappearing, and again I took pictures and called to complain. I was eventually contacted by a supervisor, who basically said get some fertilizer and weed preventer and things would improve. So they basically blew me off, but I did what they suggested and things improved only marginally. I went with Todd's for this service because I had a good experience with them previously and because of their reputation, and I was willing to pay a premium for what I thought would be premium service. Sadly, the service was not good and here I am 3 years later and basically in a position where I am starting over with my lawn. I would not recommend Todd's Services. read more

Do not hire them for hydroseeding or slit seeding. They did about 1/4 of what was promised and the results were "nothing". We watered and cared for it to the max with absolutely no results. Were at our house for about one hour total leaving a big bill and terrible quality. read more

I had Todd's Services Landscaping out to turn on my sprinkler system. After turning on the sprinkler system, the technician uncovered an issue with one of the elbow joints leaking and went to work repairing the leaking joint. About 2 hours after the technician left, I heard rushing water coming from the side of the house. Upon inspection I found water streaming out of the location of where he attempted to fix the elbow joint.Apparently it had ruptured at some time after he attempted to fix the leaking joint and burned a hole in the siding of my house. The next day, they sent out a more experienced member of the team to fix the leaking pipe. However, I still have the issue of the 2 inch diameter hole and burn marks in the siding of my house. It has been three weeks since this occurred and I have not gotten resolution on the issue, despite calling them at least two to four times each week. I did speak to a manager and he said he would come out to investigate the issue and see what he could do to make the siding look better. He has yet to come out and inspect the siding. He said Todd's would in no way pay to repair the siding they ruined. This is a very untrustworthy company. I would not recommend using them for any landscaping project. I will never use them again. Update: The manager came by and fixed the siding on our house. I really would have appreciated more communication from them. read more

I would not recommend Todd Services. They did a patio and some landscaping work for me. They nearly installed the wrong posts on my patio and I now have weeds all over my landscape. They don't stand behind their work and do a lot of bait and switch with you. I had a problem and they say well that's what you paid for. Nothing is clear with them. I had to micro manage everything to get the project done as well read more

The sales person from Todd's came out to design and quote a complete back yard patio, deck, retaining wall, fire pit project. The project is in the 50k-80k range and they never got back to me with even a phone call or email. Be careful they will waste your time. read more

We worked with Todd's Services to do our master landscaping and deck plans on a new construction. We worked with Tom Hall as the designer and he was very helpful. We met with Tom several times to discuss designs, options and selections. Having moved from TN, we weren't familiar with what types of plants would do well here. He provided plenty of guidance for options, understanding that we wanted low maintenance and deer resistance. We also said that we wanted the beds easy to mow around and he tool that into account in the design. We've opted to work on the plan in phases. We just completed the first phase which was the main landscaping in the front and side of the house, which included a small area of pavers, and yard trees. They scheduled two crews to tackle the work, and it was all done in one day! The crews were professional and courteous. They moved a large boulder from the edge of the property into one of the beds, and that was quite an ordeal, but they made sure that we were happy with the positioning. They laid down plywood on the lawn to drive heavy machinery on it and stage materials. That helped avoid damage to the lawn. Since our grass is still getting established, we have some bare spots, and the crew raked those spots and put down some seed as a bonus. They staked down the trees well and walked us through watering and care. And then the left the property and street even cleaner than it was before. Tom and another designer Jeff checked on the work throughout the day, and Tom followed up with us the next day to make sure we were satisfied and walk us through care of everything. Highly satisfied with the experience. Couldn't have asked for more. We're looking forward to doing the next phase (deck and patio) with Todd's Services. UPDATE: We had Todd's Services back to build our deck. They were very helpful in working with us to find the right design for our deck and finding the materials we wanted. We decided to use man-made decking materials. The crew from Todd's was excellent. They handled the permit and inspections. We ran into an issue with the materials - manufacturer's fault, not Todd's. The project manager and service manager went above and beyond in fighting the manufacturer on the issue, making sure we were satisfied with the outcome. In the end, the crew put in much more labor than we were ever charged for and the managers had quite the runaround from the manufacturer. Really outstanding service from Todd's Services once again! read more

I highly recommend Todd's Service, Inc. I worked with Josh Robinson to have a long walkway with stamped concrete installed and couldn't be happier with the result. First off let me say that I was taken back a little by the price at first. Once I seen the process and involvement I feel like the price wasn't high at all. Pretty fair as a matter of fact. But with that said Franicsco and Jared are top notch. Building boulder walls is an art and Francisco is incredibly talented at putting the puzzle together. Francisco and Jared both work really hard, great professional attitude and a pleasure to have at my home and hated to see them leave. I wish I could leave five stars out of ten. Todd's services has great guys working for them and Francisco and Jared are worth there weight in gold. Thanks guys for making my job go so smooth. I contacted Todd's Services to quote a major landscaping project at my home. The person that took my initial call, I believe her name was Heidi, was very courteous and helpful. In a very short amount of time I was contacted by one of the sale personnel and a meeting was scheduled. The quote for the job came shortly after that and was very well presented and easy to understand. I received several quotes for this job but it was Todd's price and professionalism that sold me to contract them. They started the job when they said they would and the finished it on time and on budget. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and professionalism that Todd's provided me. I had Todds out to do drainage work to stop my driveway from washing out. They dug out one side of my driveway and put in drainage and stone and the only problem with that side is the amount of settlement of the stone. I feel they should have rounded it up to compensate, so after just one year I had to pay more money to get a lot more stone. The other side of the driveway is where my major issue lies. They added stone to the wall which is only ok because it doesn't match what was already there and the drainage behind that wall works but they didn't go deep enough and now I can't grow grass within a foot or so of the wall. They came out eventually but just basically fertilized and re seeded which died like it had the two previous times it was seeded, told me it was draining too much to grow anything and offered to bring out edging and stone to make it look finished if I would pay for the labor...I already paid to much according to another contractor...so no thank you, it looks terrible.
