Foster Irrigation installed my lawn sprinkler in 2022. The warranty stipulated the customers use Foster Irrigation to winterize for 5 years. In the fall of 2023, I made many phone calls trying to schedule winterization without success. In mid November, I finally got a hold of Susan, the secretary. She was very rude and insisted that mailer had been sent to me which I never received. She said that it was too late for her company to do the job. I had to find another company for winterization. Don, the owner agreed to honor the warranty while skipping that year's service (I had his email response). Despite my unpleasant experience, I called the company anyhow in late September 2024 to schedule winterization (as their warranty required). To my dismay, Susan said they voided my warranty and no longer service my account. I know that businesses cannot void a warranty without the customer's consent. This is unlawful. I will report your breach of contract to BBB and pursue other legal avenues. read more

My 40 year old system had been serviced by a competitor for years. I had a new well put in that caused damage to the sprinkler system. The competitor looked at it and told me I needed to replace a whole zone for $2800. Gulp. Quite by accident I found Foster and the told me it could most likely be repaired for less than $500. I gave them the go ahead. Presto, its working as designed and after fixing several other problems I got the bill for $450. They were attentive to detail and they are my "goto" service from now on. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS BUSINESS.  I was working with Don to schedule a repair of a cracked pipe on my irrigation system.  He said they would schedule it ASAP.  Susan called to schedule the service and was able to get me on the books relatively soon.  My wife had to rearranged a couple appointments but they were able to get us scheduled.  I was shocked to receive a voicemail from Susan 2 days before the scheduled service indicated the owner told her to cancel our appointment.  Apparently, he had larger jobs and would not take an employee off a larger job for our relatively small repair. They would not even reschedule the work, instead they said they would have to follow-up later in the season when they had more help.  I tried to call back and they would not answer my calls.  BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!  THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR JOB IF THEY HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MORE MONEY ELSEWHERE.  THEIR TOP PRIORITY IS THEIR BOTTOM LINE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. read more

Rearranged my schedule to have them come fix a valve. Was then called back and had my request canceled as it was not profitable for them. This after we sent a picture and was told that they could fix it, no problem. read more

Foster Irrigation installed our sprinklers and serviced it for years, although it was always a huge hassle to get them to show up. Last year they never even returned our phone calls, and the sprinkler system was never turned on at all, with dire consequences for our lawn. This year I called them in mid-May, and they had entirely lost any record of us (presumably because they had omitted us the previous year). Now they declined to come turn on the system at all and have left us with no provider, in the busiest season, after several years' operation. read more

Worst customer service. Never actually get a human being when I call and they never call the number I leave. Not a single time did they show up during their time window and when I called to inquire I had to leave a voicemail. Would not recommend if you need service fast. The service they provide when they show up is adequate but getting them to show up was a circus. read more

Before I wrote my review, I looked at the others. The communication back and forth was very good. E-mail was better than calling, but even calls were answered in a reasonable time (24 hours in high season). They installed my system 10 plus years ago and have winterized it every year. I get a reminder card or call and leave a message and without extensive communication it gets done and I am billed. Simple. This year I had a fire in my garage. I keep my pump (withdraw water from my lake) and control box in my garage. All were damaged by the fire. I called during high season, they got me on the schedule based on the reconstruction work schedule, came to evaluate what they would need to do and came back as scheduled and rewired, reinstalled and assured the system was up an running. They made a challenging situation seem seamless. As a long term customer with high expectations of quality and service. They deliver. read more

This company has the worst customer service and I highly recommend you do not use them. We have been calling almost daily for a month to get our system started for the season, and its almost always a voicemail and no one ever calls back. At one point, when we actually did talk to a person, they said they would try and come out the next week. No one showed up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could give it zero stars, I would. read more

We're very happy with the installation and follow up service we've received from Foster's. The system works perfectly and I appreciate having good, up to date equipment. Don and team have been responsive, and timely in their service, even when some of the less talented backer-uppers in my family have taken out sprinkler heads.They were out in a reasonable amount of time and things were fixed appropriately. I've not experienced any of the issues the other reviewers complain of. I would highly recommend Fosters. read more
