If you went in there and said you needed something specific chances are the staff will find it or something close to it. After speaking with Alex from WSS customer service team he confirmed that if the shoes are defective the customer will be told to 1. contact customer service who then will determine if it is a defect and then 2. communicate back to the store to honor an even exchange. 3. After waiting for who knows how long you will be told to return to the store for the exchange. That is horrible customer service ! So if you're ok with throwing away your money by all means make your shoe purchases at the WSS locations. Do not take your frustration on the employees of these locations they have nothing to do with this policy, they just help reinforce it. Take your business to a shoe store who is more customer oriented, and won't make you feel robbed after your purchase.
