This store is right next to Ulta Beauty & Best Buy . Off Fred Warning Drive & 111 highway . Upon entering there a full display of cowboy hats , once you step inside it's totally different & I was completely floored! It's awesome! The lighting in this place is great you can really see what's inside ! This store is Super Clean & Super organized & attention to details! There a whole range of clothing, boots, belts, shirts, sweaters, jeans, jewelry. This stores has so many options!! This store is amazing! Their price points are spot on ! There always something for everyone, whether is Ladies, Men & kids. Their boots are so awesome from glitter to very awesome design of all kinds !! I came in here to buy unique belts , I was trying to find out which belt I sound I buy for my father in law . The store Manager was "Bret" Bret told me it better to get one plus size up & just in case, I can bring it back if I need to exchange it ! He so knowledgeable & so sweet & genuine. Bret has a super positive up beat personality about himself! You can see he is a great manager taking great care of all of the employees! He is your Super Star ! So I bought 2 belts 1 ladies & 1 man belt . Upon checking out Annell helped me with a pair of earrings & Betzaida help me check out every sweet Ladies!! I purchased a woman's Tshirts with an embroidered red, white and blue star on it. It fit so I tossed the receipt and tags. Washed it and it was unwearable. Returned to the store the next day and without tags, receipt or belonging to their loyalty program, Boot Barn will not do anything, even a store credit. Can't look up your credit card purchase. Horrible customer service and they don't back their product. One and done. read more

I've been going to this location since they opened for all my work boot and work gear needs as they have a huge selection of work boots and work wear and also if you looking for western wear or boots they have a huge selection as well! They service is always top notch and I'm always greeted when I walk in and the workers are always willing to help you out! The value is awesome as they say you get what you pay for and when you're on your feet all day you want a good pair of boots that's comfortable and gonna last! I have several pairs of work boots in different styles and also a few pairs of western boots and I've never been disappointed in the quality or comfort! I'm actually stopping in today to pick up a pair of Ariat slippers that look like cowboy since there on sale! I moved here from Salinas, home of 4th largest rodeo in the country, and felt like home. So many cowboy items to put a cowboy in heaven. So many wonderful hats to choose from. Too many boots. I just could not decide. And even clothing too. What a wonderful store. read more

Customer service to minorities. Walked around the story for 30 minutes and not one of the staff spoke or asked if I needed assistance. I was followed around the story by an employee in a star cowboy hat but she never asked if I needed assistance either. I've shopped at the Riverside story and the folks there were awesome. Palm Desert store is the worst. The manager had nothing but I'm sorry to say. He didn't try to make sure I left happy and wanting to come back. Poor management as it reflects the staffs inability to be kind. read more

I am only giving 5 stars for the best customer experience with Cheryl! She was so kind, helpful, and did anything to make sure my expectations were met. Cheryl is definitely a great asset to the team! As she was helping me, other workers were giving her dirty looks. It was so unprofessional and rude. Every time I go into this boot barn, no one looks happy or gives you dirty looks. I got this look from Morgan and another lady complaining how someone got transferred to Indio.. LOL. HORRIFIC SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!!! RACIST MANAGEMENT!!!!! The manager MORGAN isn't very helpful nor nice to customers. She is very rude & gave multiple customer's dirty looks while they browsed the store. My partner was gifted boot for her birthday & unfortunately they were too small for her so we came to the palm desert location to exchange the boots. They were never wore, never touched the dirt & yet we were denied an exchange, the manager Morgan said they look dirty & like they've been wore when in fact they never even touched my partner sole on her foot due to them being so small. If you look at the bottom of the boots they have in store those are dirtier then the pair my partner was gifted. We even showed her in person my partner trying to put them on & they wouldn't even go over her foot so that automatically had Morgan set on not trying to help us customers with finding a bigger size or even offering to stretch them. While we were standing at the counter waiting to get help she kept looking at the cashier booth & storming off huffing & puffing. There was even a French speaking couple in there & she told them "SPEAK ENGLISH, YOUR IN AMERICA". She has left a very bitter & sour taste in my mouth leave that store I would NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO SHOP THERE!!!! I love the products, boot barn sells , but it seems like all the staff is so Introverted, that's true. They do welcome you, but after looking around and saying "no, I don't need help." They kind of just bundle up in a group and start talking to each other. All of the staff. Of course, my past experience had a guy with glasses be kind of Rude and unattended. read more

My recent boot barn experience was quite different from my other previous visits. Coming into the store right away , I was helped by two great workers who were handling my business well, however once my questions became a bit unclear to them the store manger, "Bret Gardener," stepped into our conversation. As soon as he spoke to us, you can tell that Bret was not ready to assist us as customers. He spoke to us in a rude and disrespectful manner that had me entirely confused which led me to coming forward and talking to another one of the store managers about the situation. Wendy McCoy, Bret's assistant manger, consulted us about how to move forward with this incident which was to get in contact with the district manager, Sean Shanahan to talk about Bret's unprofessional behavior as boot barns store manager. Bret being the "Store Manager" presented unreasonable behavior in front of his staff. Bringing it to Sean's attention was not just for my personal experience as a customer but for the rest of boot barns valuable customers as well as the staff that look up to Brent as the stores leader who clearly is incapable of demonstrating a leader position. read more

Great Boot Barn, walked in Mark was very helpful, picked up a Cody James classic felt and vented Bangor. The cashier was excellent and engaging and then Mark took his time shaping the felt. Definitely recommend this location. read more
