Our server was fantastic -- incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding of the precautions that need to be taken when serving someone with celiac. I believe the vast majority of the menu is gluten-free, with the exception of the toast for those who eat gluten, which makes this such an easy place for our family to enjoy together. The rest of our family does eat gluten, and we were all pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. I got the 20 oz Iced Ube Matcha ($7) with almond milk and appreciated that they do not charge extra for milk alternatives. Unfortunately the drink was not good. I could barely taste any matcha or ube and it seemed like there was no sweetener in it at all. When placing the order, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Every staff member said hello to my son's girlfriend as she is a frequent customer. The bagel was a good size! It was pretty soft and the cream cheese was plentiful. The cheese was good and you can taste the jalapeño with each bite. They actually have a gluten free / egg free bagel. Unfortunately, their machine was broken and needed repair so we will need to return and try it in the future. The Banana Bread Hot Latte smelled like a loaf of Banana Bread. It tasted like it too!
