We love toasted oak wines and the owners Roger and Marcia! Yesterday we enjoyed a bottle of their Afternoon D'Lite and Rogers Red. We enjoy stopping in and visiting every time we are in town. Beautiful outdoor vineyard to walk around and beautiful view to enjoy while enjoying our wine and chasing our daughter.

This was my first time in Fallbrook and what better way than to experience one of their fine wineries. Being an avid wine drinker and having belonged to wine clubs from the Napa & Sonoma regions, as well as in Temecula, I was super excited to try one of Fallbrook's wineries. Toasted Oaks is quite different from the minute you arrive at the front door. The winery's tasting room is in an actual house so you feel the at home as you enter and are greeted by the owners, Roger & Marcia. Roger is also the winemaker and Marcia makes a fantastic Sangria from what I heard from others there. Sangrias were being ordered nonstop! Toasted Oak Winery is proud to be a mom & pop operation and that is seen in everything from customer service to the wonderful small batch bottling of their wines. It's so refreshing to have such interactions with owner/winemaker in an intimate and comfortable setting while enjoying great wines! I did a wine tasting flight, which included 5 wines, and Roger also gave me a taste of the Limecello he makes with the ancient like tree they own. Of the 5 wines, I had to decide on which one I'd get a bottle of. They do have specials where you get discounts when you buy 3 bottles, etc. My favorites were the Estate Sangiovese and Estate Cabernet Franc, but I ultimately left with a bottle of the Estate Sangiovese to take with my to my camping spot that day. Roger and Marcia were such wonderful hosts they even made sure I had a map of the wineries around there and made sure I was heading the right way to my Hip Camp spot. If you are over large, overly commercialized wineries, or mediocre wines - then Toasted Oak Winery is where you need to go! I can't wait to go back for some more of their wonderful wines and to try Marcia's Sangria! Big thanks to Roger and Marcia for making my first ever Fallbrook winery experience such a memorable and great one!

What a wonderful hidden gem. Marcia welcomed us with the most delightful smile and Roger poured til our hearts content. The view atop this small estate is spectacular. We really got the sense of being tucked away just so we can enjoy our guilty pleasures. Thanks guys for making this experience feel like a fun visit with old friends. Marcia... your paintings belong in a gallery... they are beautiful. We are definitely coming back!

We absolutely loved Toasted Oak! They are so welcoming and the wine tasting was more than we could've hoped for! We got a bottle of "mustang sally" to come home with us & I know it won't be long until we crack it open! Thank you Roger, Marsha & Bill for the great stories and delicious wine! We will be back (:

Four of the six varietals we tasted ('14 Syrah, '13 Rogers Red, '14 Sangiovese, and '14 Rogers Red)

Stopped by here last weekend to do a little tasting. We were the first ones of the day and the owners, Roger & Marcia, were just getting bottles opened. They were the most gracious hosts. Marcia poured the wines and both she and Roger gave us the history of the wine and their winery. We tried six (6) reds; a '13 Rogers Red, '14 Sangiovese, '14 Syrah, '14 Rogers Red, '14 Red Blend and '15 Late Harvest Syrah. We enjoyed them and purchased a couple bottles to take home. It's a nice property with a beautiful view of the vineyard and surrounding hills. They have a patio where you could enjoy a glass/bottle and a little picnic. Only negative comment I have is that the six pours run $15 and we were not discounted on tastings when we purchased two bottles. That being said, we would definitely go back again to try some new varietals.

Place was nice and the tour was short but very informative and lots of wine, my wife loved it. Nice little getaway without going all out.

We had the absolute best time here! Roger and Marcia (the owners) are the nicest people with such great stories from visitors all over the world. Roger has been making wine since the 60s and the wine is GOOD!!!! Everything is done by hand in house and you can tell by the quality. They are dog friendly and you can bring outside food. You can't beat the prices! I will be a repeat customer now that I work in Fallbrook. This is definitely a hidden gem and a must visit when in town!!!

Sometimes going to the larger commercialized wineries gets so overwhelming, crowded and frustrating. We found a quaint little winery in Fallbrook. Our experience there was so unexpected and rather very pleasant. We really enjoyed meeting Vintner Roger and his sweet wife Marci Alaux. Such lovely people and so hospitable. Roger is an amazing winemaker. Marcia is a talented artist and her beautiful paintings grace the walls of their cute little boutique winery. They made us feel so welcomed and at home. We are so glad that we stopped in. We left with several bottles of their wonderful wines. We will certainly be back to see them again! Cheers!

We love going to Toasted Oak on a weekend when we didn't make plans. It's such a relaxing environment and it's really easy to get lost in your day by just hanging out on their patio. Rodgers Red is our favorite wine there. It's a blend that will not disappoint! Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick stop or a good place to kick it with your friends and family.

    Beautiful view!

Cute winery with an even cuter couple that own and operate it. All of their wines are made by the man and woman serving you. The owners are so sweet! It has to be one of the best views in Fallbrook! You can literally see for miles from the outdoor seating area. It's covered for shade and you always get a nice breeze up there. All of their wines were delicious. We tried a flight and ended up getting a bottle of the Franc and Friends. One of my new favorites. Keep up the good work guys!

Owners, Kim & George, are very friendly and offer up a huge selection of white and red wines. Parking can be a challenge. If there are no spaces open at the top of the hill, you'll have to park along the side of a steep driveway. The one plus is that they do have a golf cart that will run people up and down the hill, but I don't know if that's always available. The tasting room is average size, but there is a spiral staircase that leads to a large upstairs patio (uncovered) with incredible views. You can certainly enjoy a glass or bottle up there and take in the amazing views...all the way to the ocean! WINES: The Beach House property is 4 acres total, with 2 acres planted with grapes. On our last visit, the tasting menu listed 14 wines (whites, rosé, and reds), and we even tried a couple that weren't on the menu. The wines are well made, and some that we've purchased in the past have laid down well in our cellar. I always state, individuals' palates can be very different than mine, but I'm pretty sure there will be a wine you'll enjoy. I recommend you visit and check them out for yourselves. I think you'll enjoy it. NOTE: They're only open on Saturdays/Sundays.

The winery is also the owners' residence, which adds a charming, personal feel to the experience. Don't worry about limited parking at the top, one of the owners (the very kind husband!) will happily and safely drive you up and down the hill in a golf cart. Such a thoughtful touch and much appreciated! I'm looking forward to coming back to try more wines, and to check out the pizza vendor they had on-site. It looked and smelt amazing! There is ample room for the children to run around. There was also face painting for them as well. They also had a few local vendors selling treats. I grabbed some salty popcorn and kettle corn (both delicious!) and treated myself to a red sangria that was just as good. Overall, I had a lot of fun here, and it was definitely worth the drive. I wouldn't mind coming back, maybe next time in the evening to enjoy the sunset vibes. I also learned that this winery turns their pumpkin patch into a tree farm for the winter season, so I'm hoping when that happens, they'll have their hard cider available for purchase!

We decided to follow through on the adventure, as we jumped into the car, dropped the top, and headed down a winding road toward the property. The property was rustic yet modern, resembling a family room, living room, bar, and dining room, with a spacious outdoor entertainment area for all to enjoy, featuring sofas, coffee tables with fire pits, and end tables. Other seating options included picnic tables and beach chairs, perched at different levels along the cliff overlooking the vines and valleys below. On this particular day, it was quite windy, which made the outdoor option a bit chilly. This winery has food vendors, but allows patrons to bring food for on-site consumption.
