Excellent! Food and service were amazing. Friendly staff too! Would recommend for anyone visiting.

    Toasted: Geezer-approved!

After walking past this place for years and always thinking that I wanted to try it, I finally did - and now I wish I had visited sooner! WHAT A COMPLETE GEM! First of all, everyone there is happy to see you and genuinely wants you to enjoy your visit. From start to finish, care and character came through. These people pour a lot of love into the food, and the atmosphere too, and it shines through. The large patio next to the creek is wonderful during the short summer, and it's dog-friendly and geezer friendly (we brought our geezers but don't have dogs). One of said geezers (my dad) ordered a reuben. It looked amazing - they make everything from scratch, and fresh bread almost always looks amazing - but then I snagged a bite. Holy cow... slow cooked in house, actually - the pastrami was OFF THE CHARTS. I had a pastrami sandwich at Katz Deli in NYC last summer, and THE PASTRAMI AT TOASTED WAS BETTER than any I've had on the East Coast. (No apologies to any New Yorkers who recoil in horror at this assertion - just go try it!) I plan to go back just to eat pastrami...okay, maybe that's a stretch because everything we ordered was delicious and I don't want to take such a limited approach, but the pastrami is worth a trip on its own. We have our new favorite place for breakfast/lunch!

Order at the counter, tell them which table you'd sit at so they'll take your food over. Ordered the sausage, mushroom and green chilies pizza. Tastes good, dough on the underside is slightly raw making the pizza unfortunately doggy. The chicken sandwich was good. The sweet potato fries were not crispy, kind of limp and soft and over salted.

Don't sleep on visiting Toasted. I called to see if they were dog friendly before visiting and they said we're welcome both indoors and outdoors. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and asked if we were the callers from earlier. The owner, bartender, chef, and all the rest of the staff were so kind even made me a breakfast item when it was very much not breakfast time. I very much enjoyed my shakshuka on the patio listening to the creek water running and chill music. My meal came with a side of fruit, breakfast potatoes, and some incredibly delicious toast! By the time I ate the entire patio had emptied to give me and my pupper a private dining experience. Oh and if you bring your dog they'll love on them with a pup cup or some bacon. Be still my heart.

Nice spot located right as you come into Manitou Springs. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. There is metered street parking. The staff are friendly and provide great service. The restaurant is clean. We chose caramel and mocha lattes to drink. We had the stuffed French toast and the breakfast burrito. The French toast is beautiful and tasty. The breakfast burrito is hands down the BEST ever! It is a must try. It is huge and can be shared. You will NOT regret ordering it! This spot has other options that I am sure are very good too. Thank you so much for such a great experience with some amazing food!

I highly recommend checking the menu beforehand, as you order at the counter before grabbing a seat. That said, you can also take a seat first and review the menu. Both options work! The day we went happened to be gorgeous, so we sat on the patio. When our food arrived, my taste buds were beyond excited. I walked in with low expectations, but wow this place far exceeded them. We had the chicken tenders, a super basic dish, yet quite possibly the best I've ever had. I also tried the pepperoni pizza and yes, it was incredibly greasy, but also incredibly delicious (it could use less grease though). And if you love kombucha as much as I do, you'll love the Third Bird brand they carry. It's much lower in sugar than grocery store brands but still delivers the perfect taste. I had the pear lavender flavor, and it hit the spot. Everything here does. Whether you're looking for a post-Incline meal or just happen to be in the area, definitely check this place out! They do close at 2 so make sure to plan your meal accordingly :)

We had a wonderful lunch here while visiting Manitou Springs for a wedding weekend! Posting the menu because we had a hard time finding it online. I got the tuna sandwich (pictured) and my husband had the BLT, both were delicious. Also highly recommend the lemonade made with local sparkling spring water!

We popped in for a birthday lunch on a Saturday, and just loved this place! I tried the smash burger, which was very good. There is seating both in side and out, and on the day we stopped in there was live music on the patio. The funniest part of the visit was this random Emu that happened by. Danny or something was its name. Crazy. The staff was super friendly and the food came our rather quickly despite the place being quite busy. Parking is a challenge on the weekends, but there are a number of pay lots.

These Benedict's with vegetables were to die for, the fruit was delicious too.

After or complete workout on a Saturday morning doing the Incline, we had this amazing breakfast at this place, everything was delicious and the presentation was amazing. The late was perfect. And we had such an amazing time there.

Stopped in for a few cocktails and a burger. My wife and I split the burger and they automatically split it on two plates without us asking. Every employee was extremely friendly. We sat outside and listened to the spring run past below the deck. We got to share lunch with the resident squirrel that lives in the tree above the patio. The owner came out and hand fed him some nuts. The fries are those perfect thin and Crispy kind of fry and the smash-burger was amazing. Highly recommend you stop in. They have a full bar as well as food.

Perfect spot to hit after visiting Pike's Peak! Everything was so delicious here, I was surprised at how good the Ruben was. I never get those, but this place has the best Ruben I've ever had. My boyfriend's smash burger was amazing, and my chicken sandwich was crispy and fresh. Cute outdoor seating

This visit brought me in for Mother's day brunch and it's evident that the establishment is under some major construction but this didn't deter from our feast. It seems the hotel could use some repairs and touch ups and so it's good to see that is underway. The buffet provided a wide variety of options from omelette station, breakfast items, seafood options, prime rib carving station, loads of sides, salad bar and more. My favorites were the au gratin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and Mac & cheese. The dessert options were very limited as most items had run out and weren't refilled, but I was too full to care. Service seemed a little curt, but was sufficient. I don't think I would ever make a true judgement of a dining establishment based on a buffet experience so I'll have to go back for a regular service to truly explore what the Cliffhouse has to offer these days. Hopefully it is full of excellence as it once was. I'll be back.....

We came with a large party (24) - so maybe it's due to our number. - it seems every meat dish had black sauce covering the meat. I didn't taste the others' dishes but it may all have been same soy sauce based sauce . It tasted ok but not what I expected. - I had elk chops - it was cooked unevenly (some parts very rare some medium). - filet mignon was over cooked - Moroccan chicken had odd spices and was very dry.

The mountain view outside the windows was gorgeous. Based on the ambiance inside the restaurant, it looked like a more upscale restaurant, which is why I can understand the dress code, but the vibe seemed quite casual. And I was surprised at how kid-friendly it was! There were multiple people there with little children. Our waiter was nice and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the Trout Rillettes and baby gem salad. The trout was very creamy and the salad was underwhelming for $16... it may look big in the photo because of the angle but it was small and it reminded me more of a wedge salad. For dinner, I had the Seared Salmon with crab fried rice, it was underwhelming for the price, and my husband had the Seared Red Snapper and said it was "too fishy". He didn't finish it. The kids entree, chicken tenders and fries, was a very generous portion and of course, she loved it. Overall, view was amazing, service was good, food was underwhelming for the price.

When we arrived, there were multiple open tables right by the windows. I politely asked if we could sit at one of them, and the hostess immediately shut it down, saying those tables were assigned to certain servers. That may be how things work internally, but as a guest, it should not feel like you are being denied something that is clearly available, especially when you made the effort to request it ahead of time. What stood out even more than the refusal was the attitude. There was no warmth, no attempt to accommodate, and no sense of hospitality just a cold, dismissive interaction. First impressions matter, and this one set the tone for the entire experience. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. My country fried steak was dry and lacked any crispness, like it had been sitting out for a while instead of being freshly prepared. The potatoes had the same issue dry, stale, and not worth the price. Nothing tasted fresh. I will say our server was kind and tried to do a good job, and the view is undeniably beautiful. But a great location cannot carry an experience when the basics hospitality and food quality fall short. At the end of the day, this is not just about one table or one dish. It is about how guests are made to feel. People spend their time and money here expecting a welcoming experience, especially when celebrating moments or simply wanting to enjoy the setting. Being met with indifference and attitude instead of basic courtesy is disappointing. Think twice before booking here. A beautiful view means very little when the hospitality is poor and the food feels neglected. I hope management takes a serious look at how guests are treated from the moment they walk in and asks themselves a simple question: if you were the customer, would this experience feel acceptable?
