Good food, good drinks, good service. On a recent trip to manitou springs, I decided to try The Loop for lunch. Located on the north end of the DT manitou strip, this eatery boasts of an extensive food and drinks menu, and most of the items I tried were good. The strawberry marg was refreshing and strong, and the Burrito From Hell was exactly that - loaded (great serving size tbh) and spicy hot! Complimentary chips and salsa + very attentive servers made the trip worthwhile. I'll be back to try their order menu items for sure.

This is a Mexican restaurant but I decided to order the Pike's Peak burger. It was outstanding! Huge patty cooked to perfection. Crispy around the edges and tender on the inside. It came with tots or fries. I ordered the tots and they were perfect. All for $14.99. Take a look at the pictures I uploaded to get an idea. This burger came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, ham, cheese and avocado. No sauce an it didn't need it. The patty was seasoned perfect. It is definitely one of the best burgers I have ever had and that is saying a lot because I'm a beer and burger kind of gal. I lucked out going here as the three other places I tried were all closed for lunch that day. I will absolutely eat here again the next time I come. Raylee was my waitress and she was great - nice and friendly.

The loop is approximately located along a round about run manitou springs. I came here to try the margaritas, which I've heard a lot of good things about! We were out on a waitlist, but ended up being seated quickly. Our server was very nice, but he seemed a little stressed out and his section looked VERY full. He was still able to take our orders quickly and there wasn't much of a wait for food/drinks. The margaritas seem expensive for what they are, especially if you get the large size. I had the strawberry margarita and it was very good but it definitely wasn't strong. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas which were also good, but I did see some meat that must have accidentally gotten in the vegetables... some of the things we ordered never came either, but nothing too important. Overall, not a bad experience but not my favorite margaritas in town.

We ate dinner here on a recent trip to Manitou Springs after riding the train up Pikes Peak. We enjoyed our table for two by the fireplace, and our waitress was super friendly. Our drinks and meals were served quickly. We ordered a skinny margarita, a horni grandma, steak fajitas, and nachos.

Went back a second time with my boyfriend and our baby, and it was just as amazing. Gwen and Becky took care of us again--super kind, helpful, and Gwen even remembered our baby's name! There was a new dish for two on the menu that was incredible and gave us enough leftovers for a whole second meal each. This place is officially our go-to. Can't wait to bring the rest of the family!

I've heard so much about this place. Unsure if my disappointment was from the food or the hype. Just average food. Presentation lacked, flavor lacked. Shrimp was so overcooked. This place needs a good clean. Service just seemed confused. Who was taking care of us? Staff seemed more interested in chatting than service itself.

At the suggestion of a good friend of mine, I chose to celebrate my birthday at The Loop this year. Making the reservation was super easy, even for getting a large table (9 people) on Mother's Day. I love the location because Manitou Springs is one of my favorite towns in Colorado. And The Loop is right in the middle of the best part of town. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole meal. Great drinks and delicious food was enjoyed by everyone. I had the Chili Verde Dinner. The menu said "very spicy". This is true. But also so delicious and filling. I had the Patron Margarita. Super tasty. Not overly boozy. The room noise level was really loud and filled with happy people. A bit too loud, maybe. But not terrible. Service during the meal was good, but could've been a bit better. I think the waitress was just a bit overwhelmed. But she kept a good attitude the whole time. I'm looking forward to going back again with a smaller group and on a less busy day.

YUM! We stopped in for a margarita and app--- our grande margaritas are going down fast and easy! Our chips and skillet queso are the perfect t app for a chilly evening. And Justine has been AMAZING! Super attentive, making sure we have everything we need, made great recommendations for our margaritas. Love sitting at the bar- festive, fun, great service! Can't beat it.

    Delicious Silver Patron Margarita.

Though the restaurant is small, it's clearly a local favorite. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated within minutes. The chips and salsa set the tone--smoky with just the right kick, absolutely addictive. For my entrée, I ordered the steak tacos, served with rice and beans that were bursting with flavor. I also had the chance to sample a shrimp taco, and if I had to choose again, I'd go for the shrimp. Lightly battered and topped with a pineapple-mango salsa, it was a perfect balance of crisp, sweet, and savory--truly mouthwatering. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a local gem in Manitou. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I had two and wanted 3 but the hubs put a kabosh on that. Whatever you do, don't miss the margarita key lime pie. It was absolutely heavenly. All of this saved my review from being a 2 star. The chips were absolutely nothing special - if I were to buy chips in the store, I'd definitely avoid these. I asked our server if there were a lot of onions in the guac. I told her that I can't eat raw onions - they make me sick. She said there were so we ordered the queso instead. It was topped with a mountain of green onions. She prepared it herself knowing that I said that I couldn't eat the onions. We thought we picked all of them off but a few had unknowingly sunk into the cheese. Even after just one bite, I was miserable the rest of the night. We ordered the 3 item combo plate to share. We selected a tamale, a chicken enchilada and a chili relleno. We opted for the green sauce. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The green sauce was mild and almost flavorless. The enchilada was fine - the chicken was very tender and moist. The relleno was a little different from those typically found in Mexican restaurants. The pepper had quite a kick. I'd order one again. The tamale wasn't good. Not at all. We left most of it. The rice was meh and the beans tasted like they were straight from a can. I'm not sure what the slaw was trying to be but whatever it was, it didn't hit the mark. The restaurant is large with a decent size patio. There is plenty of parking. The music outside was so loud that conversation could be difficult. I'd definitely come back for margaritas and pie. The food itself, it's a pass for me.

We always provide the server a card with a list of the food allergies before ordering and ask them to show the kitchen. We ordered a gluten free child's taco after confirming they would be able to accommodate a wheat allergy. We were assured they could make the taco on a corn tortilla. When the food came it appeared it was NOT a gluten free corn tortilla. I don't have any allergies and tried a bite and it tasted like wheat to me so I told my son who is allergic to wheat NOT to eat it. I confirmed with the kitchen it was NOT a corn tortilla and they had served him a flour tortilla even thought we were very clear be is allergic to wheat. I don't know how it was too hard to warm up some premade fries, but it managed to happen. The one part of the fries that was good was the pork. And I still wasn't blown away. It really seems like they just can't find a happy medium, because the fries were cold but most of the meats were cooked crematorium-style. I mean, absolutely burnt to a crisp. I also just don't know how hard it is to mess up a good chorizo, but it managed it happen. My Birria Taco was luckily pretty good, but I was just severely disappointed by everything else.
