CREPES - SUZETTE - on the sweet side
Poonam M.

Trying to get a parking spot especially on a weekend can be quite difficult, there are lots of areas around that specifically say no toast parking. Very busy place expect a wait. They have inside and outside seating. Inside can get quite noisy. Prefer the outside seating if it's not to house. They stuck large people into a booth at first, but I saw tables that just left and asked to be reseated, luckily they did that for us. I ordered the pumpkin pie French rolls , they were nice but portions were small with a side of bacon . The bacon was very good. Service was good. Just not a great place to have a conversation inside. Would recommend come on a weekday if possible

MANGO SHRIMP CEVICHE

The service here was pretty good, our waitress was pretty nice and attentive. The ambiance kind of reminded me of modern western a bit, the high chairs and little succulent plants on tables. The food was ok, we got a poke bowl, a chicken sandwich, and a mango ceviche. The bowl was pretty big, but everything was in big chunks, made it a little hard to mix together. Flavor was okay, my rice was a little hard.. the mango ceviche was missing a little flavor. And the chicken sandwich was a little dry, butttt I do have to add we had the spicy sauce on the side. The chicken itself was a bit dry. It was a tad pricy, I think we ended up paying close to 150, for everything. Not sure if I'd come back, primarily because it's 2 hours away from LA.

Located in a very very tight shopping center (be prepared to fight or wait for parking!) this location has a small indoor eating area as well as an outdoor area. Honestly for how popular this place was they should look into a bigger space. Indoor seating area was tight, busy and loud, an explosion and not ideal for those with sensory issues. The outdoor while more open/less loud noises is still just as tight in seating where I could have reached over and held hands with the person at the table next to me. Large groups would not be ideal for either spots. So Angie was our waitress. She was nice and polite and brought us waters while we looked over the menu. I ordered crab cake egg Benedict and husband got the aloha bowl which is pretty much a Loco Moco. After Angie took our order we did not see her again until the check. No water refills and our food and drink (Samoa Mocha) were brought by other servers. Would have been nice for at least one refill, and I understand it was busy, so simply a statement that she went MIA. Crab Cake Benedict - I enjoyed this. The toast under the crab cake became soft due to the steamy heat from the crab cake and the hollandaise sauce but that was ideal. Egg was poached to perfection. The crab was soft and had a healthy meat/veggie/breadcrumb balance. I chose hash browns as my side and they were nice and buttery and only required salt to taste. Aloha bowl - Husband did not like nor finish. The rice was soooo garlicky that it overpowered the taste of the bowl...add to that the saltiness of gravy (naturally) and the saltiness of the sausage (naturally) the whole meal became a garlicky salty mess. The patty and egg ate separately and a little to the side tasted so good and we could only imagine how good this meal could have been if done just a bit differently. Also the sausage could have been a little more charred, it was lacking that yummy crisp you'd want to it. Drink: Samoa Mocha. Tasted exactly like the Girl Scout cookie. Very delicious and worth the diabetes I am sure will follow !!!

Sometimes when you are braindead from the work week and from corralling tiny humans, you forget what eating out looks like on the weekend. And oh my gosh, was I ever pleasantly surprised how quickly we got into a brunch spot on a saturday at 10am. I mean, that's almost primetime. The kids were stoked with fun drinks such as unicorn and chocolate milk, and us bigger kids were equally impressed that the standard brew came with a delicious funfetti biscotti. How cool is that? My poke bowl was absolutely delightful, adding options to eat it with or without the rice (so many cucumbers, beautiful radish and daikon slices). Had just enough heat to say hey I'm kinda spicy but will leave your tongue to appreciate your food. My daughter's mac and cheese unfortunately didn't come with any sides which was odd, but we were able to add fruit and eventually some fries when she got jelly of her brother's grub. We were in and out in under an 1:20 which, for a fam of four is pretty amazing for a dine in experience. The bill process is all electronic which makes me so happy. Would def come again!

One of my favorite breakfast place. Food is always good, clean place, great service, and great prices. There can be long line every now and then but worth the wait. I love their assorted beverages choices, from coffee, OJ, to adult drinks. Bloody Mary Farm Style is a must try.

Well....I've never waited 3 hours for brunch before but we're from out of town so here we are. That being said, it was the busiest weekend of the year (Mother's Day Weekend) so hopefully it's not always like that. Despite being very busy, service was great and the food didn't take too long to come out. Everything we ordered was so flavorful with generous portions, and clean! We all ordered very different dishes and they pulled them all off. Dare I say the 3 hour wait was worth it? We had a great time and it really seems like you can't go wrong with whatever you order (see pics, they taste as good as they look). We got the crab cake Benedict, Korean short rib, breakfast fries and finished it off with the strawberry shortcake pancakes, big yum! My favorite brunch place yet.

Stopped in at Toast for breakfast while we were in town. We were greeted and promptly seated inside where it was about 70% full. The waitress was very nice and pleasant to work with. We were glad to not have to wait long to order as we arrived hungry. They asked if we were celebrating anything and very kindly celebrated my b-day in a few ways while visiting which was nice. The food was good and I was happy with my order and how everything came out.

Came here for our anniversary . Highly recommended by Dreamin California. It was delicious we got the crab Benedict the avocado toast and the crème bruleee French toast with a flight of mimosas we got there before the rush so we got our food right away and it was all delicious our waitress was very sweet and we sat outdoors it was chilly but they put the heaters on for us and it worked perfectly. The ambiance was family oriented and wonderful very cafe meets chic brunch vibes . Theyre so sweet they even made us an anniversary pin how cute

My husband and I had VERY different experiences when we came to this location. I'm sad that his experience was not ideal. I can totally understand why he doesn't want to comeback. He ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and his food was COLD when they brought it out. He told me, so I touched it and informed the waitress. The eggs were cold, cold- like they had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hash-browns were cold. Just not good. The waitress apologized and my husband had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake his meal. Meanwhile, I had already scarfed my food. My poor husband had to sit there, watching me eat, while his food was re-made. It came out hot the second time, which is good. My husband said the gravy was not his favorite. He always judges a breakfast place by the gravy. For some reason that is really important to him lol On the other hand, my experience was GREAT. I actually loved my meal! The shrimp ceviche was extremely fresh and I love the presentation. The granola salad was a real surprise! The whipped ricotta was so light and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and warm mini pancakes. Both of these dishes were a win for me. Ambiance was crowded/. Very busy. We waited an hour just to be seated. The noise level was exceptionally high. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. This is not the place if you want to have a nice, quiet breakfast/ brunch experience.

Still great food, still great service, still cool music to set the vibe. Sure wish Murrieta would open back up! Much closer to us, but good to see our regular servers at Temecula. Food today is pictured. Joseph rocks, the epitome of a fabulous server. Attentive and quick with a joke!!

Waited at least 30min for a party of 4 on Saturday morning. Good food and generous portion of protein! I was surprised by how much chorizo they gave me with my omelet. Pecorino potatoes were delicious. So much food that I couldn't finish! I was confused by the bathrooms. Didn't realize they had murals painted on the door indicating male or female. I ended up using the male restroom and noticed other ladies who did the same. Bathroom was clean. There's a screen in there that cycles through photos of food options lol Parking fills up quickly. There are signs past the restaurant that say no Toast parking so be aware!

SHRIMP & GRITS (add egg)

We haven't visited this location since before the Murrieta location opened but glad to see things haven't changed! Food and service were still great!

Valerie G.

Such a delightful breakfast! Loved everything- although my party didn't like the midori sours, they still offered a tasty flight. Great service from when we entered. Simple, spacious layout. I'd come back!

Omelettes come with NO TOAST. You want toast? That'll be an extra $5.50. A whopping $4 for paper thin slices of bread toasted. An extra $1.50 if you're some kind of spoiled brat and want a little butter or a little bit of prepackaged jam for your thin slices of cold toast. I was grateful for the fact that they have a sparsely furnished indoor dining room to eat your breakfast in rather than forcing you to hover over one of their only two outdoor tables on the rain, in the heat or in the cold. No WiFi whatsoever. I suppose WiFi is too expensive to splurge on in their book. They provide a cauldron of hot coffee and one of ice water for waiting guests. The cauldron was empty by the time I arrived (11:00 Ammon a Monday). Their container of creamer was also empty. This was particularly annoying since I paid an extra $4.50 (before taxes or tip) for a cup of coffee with breakfast. This made me wish I'd opted to eat anyplace else but here today. You're expected to tip BEFORE you take a seat at any of their tables. As you can see from my receipt posted alongside this review I tipped $5 in advance. To be fair, their owner (who worked as the only waiter in their dining room) strikes me to be a good person. Only street parking is available to this tiny restaurant. Your meal comes with a fork and knife. Only one thin paper napkin and NO SPOON.
