We order this every layover and consistently is perfect! Always arrives hot! We try to get them to cut it in squares like Chicago, but that just ain't happening. lol read more

Order from New Boston, Accidentally ordered from here instead of the New Boston one which I normally go to and it was not worth it. Sauce was watery and the dough was like styrofoam. Service was good and the people were nice tho. read more

Went late after most places were closed, should have just gone to bed. Ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, took almost 40 minutes for the order. Sandwich was a stale hot dog bun and what looked like scrapings from the grill. I'm sure it's what contributed to some time in the bathroom the next day. Ambience, strongly lacking. read more

Delicious cheese pizza. Their 8" was only $6! Service was kind and quick. Small seating area inside or they offer carry out & delivery. I recommend this for dinner if you're staying at one of the hotels, definitely options for the whole family & not many other options around. read more

Toarmina's Pizza - Delicious & $6! - Pizza Near Me - Romulus, Michigan

I gotta give them a thumbs up Ordered this massive pizza and it was delish...... these things are big folks.... A little doughy, but that's the way Detroit pizza is and that's ok Great sauce and cheese Big thumbs up read more

This place hit the SPOT. With the uncertainty of DTW's flight situation right now I was in a tight spot and needed food after a delayed flight. This was one of the only quality places open nearby. The Pizza was great and reasonable priced. The service was amazing and the guy behind the counter was working his tail off. I recommend Toarmina's if you need pizza and are in the area. It was delicious and made my night a lot better. I would submit a picture but the pizza was devoured within minutes. read more

Ordered the deluxe calzone. Top notch! Quality ingredients, nice golden crust. Well done.

Got my pizza thru Uber eats , it was delicious and the Greek salad was awesome too ! Wish we lived closer I'd love to order again next time I'm in town read more

We were waiting for someone to fly into Detroit and they were delayed so we had pizza at Toarmina's and it was delicious. Definitely would go again. read more

It was late, the hotel was nearby, and i was starving. So i stopped in to get a delux calzone to go. It took a while to get, but once i got it, the calzone was really good. There are plenty of meats and sauce in the calzone. It wasn't extra greasy, and the bread was still crisp after i got back to the hotel. read more

It's been a long couple of weeks for me. Last week I was in Anchorage, Alaska. Got home Sunday afternoon. Off to Richmond, Va Monday morning, and today in Michigan. It's time to fly home but I would like to eat before going to the airport. I check Yelp and it's only showing restaurants between 7 and 20 miles from where I am. Must be a mistake because I've seen this Pizza restaurant before, and I'm fees plate of pasta. Not a mistake for Yelp. This was a big disappointment. They have pizza, salads, wings, roaster chickens, and lasagna. Not Pasta, that's right no pasta. Bad to worse. I'm ordering from a young man at the counter who in my estimation is as high as a kite. After I place my order he begins hacking, coughing, and sneezing. Shouldn't be there for so many reasons, but I shouldn't either. I ask where the rest room is and he tells me " alllll the way down the hall". Really, a five foot walk. So I'm waiting for my food and another fellow brings it out in a box to go. After I explain I'll be eating there he leaves and comes back. The lasagna is more like Stoufers, in an aluminum tin. A plastic container of sauce that was ice cold. One star for the bathroom, and I got a phone call and had to walk outside forgetting my glasses and someone brought them out to me. That's the second star. I can't go on. This place should not be open. I will definitely not be back, and if u get sick from that guy I'll be back to close them down myself. STAY AWAY read more

Absolute lifesaver, this place. After an unintended overnight delay in Michigan, I found myself positively famished. My flight arrived late and I missed my connection. By the time I got my accommodations and everything sorted out it was after 1 am, and I hadn't eaten in almost 8 hours. Like I said... famished. I checked into the hotel that the airline booked for me and the guy at the front desk of the hotel told me that this was pretty much the only place open. placing a delivery was easy and in about 20 minutes, they delivered my food right to my hotel door. I ordered a half pepperoni half cheese pizza, and a Greek salad. While the pizza was good, they were really skimpy on the pepperoni. They only put it on the outer perimeter of the pizza, at the very edge of the crust. Maybe there's a pepperoni shortage in Michigan, I don't know, but I've never seen anything like that in my life. The Greek salad was ok, but not the best I've had. I expected lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese but this one came top with several jalapenos, lots of raw onion, a ton of green pepper slices, and pickled beets. The beets are didn't mind, but the rest I definitely could have done without. Definitely more of a garden salad than a Greek salad. Despite the nit picky details, this place was an oasis in the desert. The food was filling and it definitely hit the spot. read more

Horrible deep dish pizza, needs more love in the food. Im going to try the 24' pizza next week.

Tried their Detroit style pizza last night for the first time. Terrible. So terrible thati thought maybe I've never had Detroit style pizza before in my life. Turns out I have and they just don't know how to make it. I just called in to ask in case it was just made poorly on accident. The guy tells me, "we just call it Detroit style, we don't know what the difference is." And I wasn't trying to get anything for free. I'm seriously just inquiring, he's being rude as all can be. They screwed me and I'm just trying to see if it was just a one time thing or something. I absolutely love their pizza but because of the way that dude wanted to act toward me and specially how bad my pizza was last night honestly I have plenty of other pizza places to choose from around and I will definitely be choosing them from now on. read more

I had higher expectations. Was not having pizza but wanted the "broasted chicken" and it was terrible. One piece was raw. Another had no meat on it. Also ordered the Antipasto Salad. Italian dressing. It was just okay. Could have tasted fresher. The vegetables and meats could have been chopped better. There was little quality control because some pieces had to be tossed since they were brown or just scraps. The meal came with "cheese bread" which wasn't bad. If you like cheese pizza with thick crust. That's what it tasted like. Wasn't terrible. Service was okay. Not very happy people working there. Some folks waited a long time when their food was up and been ready for awhile. read more

No complaints whatsoever. The pizza was good lots of flavor I really enjoyed that Cajun crust! And it was nice they had gluten free crust which did not taste horrible at all. The workers were very helpful and made a great suggestion of hot honey and that was bomb! The store I feel like is hidden but it wasn't busy the inside only had a couple of people waiting in there which I'm surprised about but then again it's a pizza place so get it and go! read more

Called to place an order for them to tell me it was an hour long wait, said that was fine I'd wait, was placed on hold for someone to come on the phone 5 minutes later to tell me that the computer was down and they couldn't take my order and to call back in 45 minutes when they close and hung up on me. Horrible customer service wouldn't recommend. read more

Called because i was supposed to get a pizza and cheese bread with a pop. Instead i got a disgusting grinder, honestly cold and one of the worst ive ever had. I tried to not make it inconvenient, so i called and told them they got it wrong. To which the man started yelling at me. Stick with the chains, this is just a shitty and more expensive, plus you get random orders and if miscommunication or not they should fix the problem or dont have somebody that can barely speak english. But idc about that het chinese with a little bit of barrier no problem. Customer service 0 / food quality 0/ extremely rude and unprofessional. Ive seen this place too its disgusting on the inside, last time six cockroaches cane out of the drain in the bathroom when i turned on the water. I figured delivery cant hurt and now im robbed of my money and they didnt fix a thing. One of the worst business ive dealt with in 30+ years. read more

I placed a very large delivery order online (3 24in pizzas). I also called to coordinate a few changes along the way like a new phone number and delivery instructions. The order was delivered on time and tasted great. They also brought plates and napkins with my delivery The only issue I had was not being able to apply a coupon to an online order, which would have saved me $1. Not a big deal, but if you want that you will have to call. read more

Toarmina's Pizza - Pretty good pizza, I like it - Pizza Near Me - Romulus, Michigan

This is an ideal inexpensive place by the airport. Try the 3.99 personal pan pizza with one topping. It fills U up. Also cheese bread for 4.49 is filling and it is the size of a medium pizza This place is located very close to the airport and if you're staying at one of the hotels at the airport, this would be an ideal place on get your carry out food. This location is open till about 2am, maybe 3 on the weekend. They have flyers at the hotels with their menu and specials. Ambiance is old school, and not a place to dine in at. It is very small and cannot accommodate too many people. They also do deliveries to hotel and surrounding areas Pizzas are made with fresh toppings and taste good. Their deep dish is very delicious too. They also serve different flavors of wings. They have sandwiches and pocket Stromboli's etc read more

Stopped in with a party of 7 for lunch break before driving up to Mackinac Island. We ordered the 24" Meatfest/Greek Pizza split 50/50 and a 2 Greek salads. The salad was one big family style salad served right away with plenty of extra single servings of salad dressing. I was expecting two plates so they over - delivered. After we were done splitting the salad 7 different ways, our 24" monster was served and it was beautiful. Check out the photo with the 3 kids and the pizza and you'll see what I'm talking about. Even better than the presentation was the taste. I had read one review saying the pizza here was greasy but that couldn't be further from the truth. The dough was phenomenal, no grease on the underside of the pizza. The pizza sauce had just the right amount of herbs, and the ingredients for each half of the pizza delivered a proverbial home run. This isn't a large family restaurant so don't expect a huge dining room. In fact, there's probably barely room for more than 15 sit down customers but that's okay. This place is legit. I'm a fan. read more
