Been doing business with these guys for more than 10 years. They've always dealt fair and done good work. One time my Hyundai needed an alternator. After they'd diagnosed the problem, Peter reminded me that it would probably still be under warranty and I should take it to the dealer. He was right, and charged me only for the time they'd spent diagnosing it. Can't recommend them highly enough. (Edit -- I don't know why Yelp thinks I'm in San Francisco. I was leaving for Thanksgiving in NY the day after I got a nail in my tire. I called a bunch of the big guys - Sullivan, Goodyear - no one would get me in until next week. I popped in here. They had me in and out in 45 mins, friendly, charged me $20. I will go back here. read more

I went there for an inspection as I do a few times a year and it was noted that I need new brakes. The back ones could wait. They did my brakes, but they felt worse than before so I brought it back. Nothing else was found wrong. for the next two days I drove my 2009 Honda with increasing grinding and slipping brakes. I lost my brakes completely coming home from school and almost crashed. I had it towed to a very reputable brake service, the next town over and they found I need a master cylinder and this is why the brakes went. read more

I'd like to share our recent experience with TNT Auto Service Center in Belmont, Ma., in the hopes of sparing another person from being taken advantage of by the owner Sam (Bassam Saliba). We recently brought our F-150 pick-up truck to have some work done at the recommendation of a friend. The repair was completed by Sam's brother in law at another shop in Fresh Pond (which we agreed to, as it was a big job) and picked back up from TNT paying Sam. Upon start up of the truck, in the lot near the shop, a new and loud noise was heard, so the truck was immediately driven back to Sam, at which point he became very aggressive, belligerent, and contemptuous, stating that the noise was there when the truck was brought in (it was not). Now we have a drivability issue, and a newly discovered dishonest shop owner, that I strongly suggest you stay away from. (Gave one star because I had to in order to post review) read more

I called in yesterday TNT auto service recommended by my cousin Edo D.S. We arrived MA from VA. last Friday July 14, 2023. During our trip, a large slashed truck tire flew from the right lane from under another traveling car to our lane and I could not avoid the tire and drove over it. The result my front bumper is cracked and loose and a rubber hanging. I mentioned that to Sam at TNT auto service at Belmont. He told me to stop by Tuesday July 18, 23 at 8 am and he will have the car checked and make sure nothing is leaking and tighten what is loose under the car. We arrived Tuesday morning 10 to 8 am. He told me he remembers me from the phone conversation. Jose checked the car and he put the hanging rubber under the front bumper in place and tighten both side of the bumper. He also said nothing is leaking. I asked how much we owe. Jose said nothing. That is what I call honest and friendly auto service location. I would say the Belmont town residence are very lucky to have Sam and Jose as their neighborhood auto service center. I highly recommend them. Highly recommended shop! I got a small scratch right cross the bumper. And I am told by other dealer in order to repaint it the whole bumper need to be taken out and repainted. It is very expensive and at least take 3/5days . I am recommended by my friend to check on TNT. I am told that if I don't need a fancy fix, it can be done by just repainting the area that got the scratch! And it can be done in couple of hours with a really reasonable price. I am so happy with the service and the staff is very friendly! Thumb up for them! read more

Greedy place! I went there for MA inspection of my old Accord, I have a rust hole on the middle pipe. The guy asked $400 to fix the problem. And also wanted me to buy two tires. I found another garage and spent $220 to replace the pipe. I went back here for inspection again and the owner of TNT asked where did I replace the pipe and said I still have problems with my pipe! Unbelievable! I went to another place for inspection and passed! I certainly not recommend this location for taking care of your car. read more
