She took great care of us and we felt very attended to. Both the Head Chef Giuseppe and his wife Vincenza checked in on our table as well. This restaurant clearly offers a very personable dining experience. The food is wonderful, I had the caprese salad, the sausage and peppers and the meatballs for apristomaco, and then one of the specials was a Branzino over gnocchi with shrimp and spring veggies. For dessert most of the table had gelato, and I had the pistachio ricotta cake. I am so full as I type this, the portions are very generous. What stands out to me about the food is the bright assortment of flavor, every dish feels perfected- nothing feels even remotely dialed-in. I never come to Steubenville, other than for work on scant occasion, and I'd say that it would be worth it to come here even just specifically to have dinner at this restaurant. It was definitely busy when we came in- I think everyone in town knows that this is the best Italian food around. The calamari you see in the picture was heavily breaded and the oil it was deep-fried in was old, so it clumped everything together, and you got more of a burnt breaded taste than the ability to taste the calamari not good at all. I had the pasta Primavera that was cooked perfect and the spices were out of this world. It had some heat. I had their tomato salad with hot peppers and anchovies. The salad was good. My critique on this would be the tomatoes they weren't ripe and juicy as described in the menu. Would I go back yes but it wouldn't be my top priority, but worth a try.
