We had Dave and crew demolish and pour a new driveway, curb and two steps our landscaper contractor requested be added to our back yard porch to incorporate the steps to a new landscape design. One of the two steps was defective: shorter in height than the other, anti-slip grooves that were placed to match original steps were not parallel and evenly spaced. This is a common traditional design/functional feature of the tread. The bottom step lacks a full riser height and will result in a gap between that step and the patio. We knew the step was odd looking but when our landscape designer saw it, he advised us it was poorly done and needed to be redone before the landscape work could be completed. We contacted Dave explaining the problem, asking him to redo the step or refund the cost of that portion of the project. He said he would be by to demolish and redo the step. On the day of the scheduled redo, he was a no show with no message from him. My husband text messaged and called him with no response, he attempted to reach Dave several times. This man does not keep his word. This no-show ghosting is nothing new, as another reviewer indicated he had the same experience, missed appointments TNT Concrete makes with its customers. There is a history on their part as being no shows on days they have committed to work. We now are paying another contractor to have the step replaced, an extra expense we should not have if Dave had taken responsibility and replaced the step or refunded the cost. This is no way to treat customers. I do not recommend this business. read more

I do not recommend TNT. They took almost two months to pour a patio. It had cracks immediately. They raised it too high above the lawn and too steep of a grade. Total lack attention to detail and lack of listening to our needs. This picture should sum it up. read more

I wish I could give them negative stars. We used a website called www.gosmith.com which is a home improvement/contractors referral website/app to find a concrete contractor to get an estimate for our house. We called them and made an appointment. After they didn't show up an hour after the time that was set we called and left a voicemail. When they finally called back they said they forgot about the appointment and wanted to reschedule. We made another day and time and waited for them to show up. They didn't show up or call. How is this business still open when they do this to customers? read more

Never punctual. Total lack of respect for my property. Diesel spill left for us to clean up. Water bottles left in garden, Overspray from final rinse left on siding, doors and windows. The final exposed aggregate patio has low spots where water puddles. Some areas weren't hosed off properly so there is no aggregate exposed where there should be. Didn't think it appropriate to bring a child to the job site to hang out on the day they poured the concrete. read more

David and his team are a pleasure to work with. They just completed a driveway re-pave and expansion in addition to sidewalk work for us. David's bid was extremely reasonable and there were no overages. He was good about keeping us aware of his team's progress, and if I needed information he always got back to me in a timely manner. The schedule didn't work out exactly as he planned due to the city and permitting, but he made sure the bulk of the work was completed early so we didn't have to wait extra time once the city gave the green light. I thought Tony (as) a Christian man and trusted him and paid in full .Do not trust him he do not do what he promises to do We contacted TNTConcrete Owner Efitony Talamai (Tony) based on a previous quote for the replacement of our driveway. The scope of work agreed to was to remove the old driveway and pour a new driveway. The quote was for $8,800. During the first visit I requested a quote to complete the culvert in the front all the way across to allow easier access for the lawnmower. Tony agreed to complete the culvert for an additional $200 for a total of $9,000. I paid $5,000 on July 8th to start the work because I was told they needed the cash to purchase material and pay for the concrete. On July 14th they asked for an additional $4,000 to pay for material and I paid the request. The driveway was completed but the leading edge and the culvert and seal were not completed. Tony installed a 6" culvert which was not adequate to handle the water flow under the driveway. . So I bought 12" culvert for $575 .But He still refused to complete the culvert across the front as agreed and left the openings as a pit that I had to finish with a catch-basin and grate another $700. The new drive way at the entrance and near the garage already has a crack. They did not seal when they said after 28 days they will come back seal it While at the house working, Tony offered to re-surface the sports court for $2,000. He requested the $2,000 to cover material expenses and I agreed to advance him the money. He started the re-coating on the sports court, but did not finish. I called him and he has not returned my calls or returned to correct his mistakes and complete the job. He agreed to return on August 28th to coat the driveway but did not return. Again I send email on April he promised give me back my $2000 and seal the drive way on May he did not show up It is already June 14, 2016. read more

We hired TNT to remove and replace our driveway, the sidewalk in front of our house, and our double-car garage floor. The garage floor was a last-minute addition and we were pleased TNT was able to do this extra work. The entire job was over 2,739 square feet. TNT got the necessary permits. They added gray tint we requested and rebar running the vertical length of the drive at about 1-foot intervals. The team asked neighbors permission to park trucks in front of their houses, which the neighbors appreciated. This is a small business run by a family from Tongo. The day of the big pour a problem at the cement factory not under TNT's control delayed and delayed the arrival of the concrete. Nine men had to stand around for many hours. Fortunately, there was a full moon that night and the men worked by moonlight and streetlight. They did a beautiful job. We made the final payment and waited for the concrete to dry. When it was okay to get water on it we tried to turn the irrigation system on and found it wouldn't work. (We should have tested it before making the final payment.) Our regular sprinkler company showed us many broken pipes and sprinkle heads along the driveway. The repair bill came to about $600. Replacing concrete is heavy, messy work and maybe a sprinkler head or two is to be expected. But this damage was extensive. We had not thought to put in the contract that any damage would be paid for by TNT. There were a couple other fine details where we thought the finishing work should have been better. On the whole, we were pleased with the work done. read more

We had needed a reinforced concrete foundation for a monument. Dave responded immediately to my call, gave me a reasonable and prompt quote and scheduled the job for just a few days later. The project had emotional significance for us. The entire crew understood and treated both the project and our family with great respect. The work was flawless and completed promptly. No stars here, I cannot stress how frustrating and painful it has been to work with this company! They never show up when they say they will, then every once in awhile they'll show up with zero communication, do a couple things, then disappear again. For my project, which was relatively large in scope, Tony originally estimated 2 weeks to complete. The project started in mid-July 2018 and dragged out for 10 weeks before they were ready to pour. The continually did not show up on days they said they would, then would show up without notice when it was too late to do the work they were supposed to have finished. They missed several appointments which caused other subcontractors delays and headaches. Eventually I asked them to Stop Work so that I could get a reliable sub-contractor to finish the work. All of my requests went ignored by Tony. Quality of the work was OK but definitely not worth the challenge of trying to get these guys to complete the project and communicate schedule. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company for your concrete project. read more
