Not a lot of time in my lunch hour so I was very happy to get in an out quickly. I needed to make a major decision, choose a grout color. To those who have never had to make this decision, it can either make or break your project. Go with the wrong color and it looks like you had Stevie Wonder doing it for you. I was more then glad to let someone help me make the decision about this so I was quickly shown all the colors, helped with the decisions of what colors would "go" and quickly eliminated those that I did not like. Once the decision was made, I basically had to stand there and swipe the card. The gent who was assisting me ran to the back and came out with a box of all the things I needed: The right Color Caulk, Spacers, Colored Grout, the stuff to mix with it so I didn't have to seal it ever, which if you have ever sealed grout you know what a pain that is. Once I swipped my card he grabbed the box and started walking outside with out even being asked and grabbed the bucket of pre mixed mastic on the way out the door. Again, pre mixed is the way to GO! I have purchased from several of the stores in the chain and was very happy to be able to get in, get out and get going.

We liked the color in the store but they only had 15sq ft, so they had to get more from the warehouse. When we picked it up and took it home not only was the match terrible, but it wasn't even the same size as our tile. Unfortunately when trying to return it we were told it was special order no returns. When I explained that I was told this was coming from their warehouse, the salesperson said "it's from their warehouse not ours". Needless to say I now have 85sqft of the wrong tile. Their practices are deceptive and their customer service is an attitude of we just don't care. Spend your money somewhere else!

The store is well stocked, easy to locate what you need. I had found what I wanted on the website before visiting and my hubby was wise enough to tell me to check what aisle it's in which is clearly marked on the page of the item on their site. Thanks for that HF. Keep up the good work!

So I googled the tweezers, and found that Harbor Freight had a whole set of six long tweezers for $7! So off I trotted to the store. I ended up with the tweezers, giant carabiners for $1 (I'm going to use them to attach my tote bag to my rolling laptop bag. Or something else), a screwdriver set with mini heads, because every set I own has disappeared, so I'm hiding this one, and a couple of other small things. They have auto stuff, garden tools, power tools, welding tools, woodworking tools, and all manner of accessories. I didn't really check out the tools, because I have what I need, but prices really seemed reasonable. The auto polishes etc seemed expensive ($36 for one polish) but tbh I don't know the cost elsewhere. They really have an awesome selection, and the store is big, bright, well stocked, and clean. Employees are happy, especially the cashier, and helpful.

I'm sure this is a great business if you are in the industry and know what you are doing. However,…read moreif you are not, BEWARE. I had a couple damaged doors in my house and I reached out to the builder, got the manufacturer name and then looked up where I could purchase replacements. This location was closest to me. I went in to get information and pricing and I was provided an order number so that I could call back when I was ready to purchase and reference the number. Knowing that I was not confident in my measuring, ability, etc. I went home, took pictures of the doors, remeasured, and took the information back in-person to order. I was very clear about not knowing what I was doing but I was walked through the options based on my pictures and measurements and ordered two doors. The doors came in a few weeks later and I arranged a truck from a friend and a extra set of hands for pick up. The first door was found right away but the second door took 45+ minutes to find. And while the style of the door was correct the invoice # didn't match by invoice but I was assured by them that it was the right door. Upon getting home, I realized the second door was not the right size, to tall and too wide. I called back and the person on the phone immediately remembered me from earlier and said they would take care of it, walked through the measurements again, and ordered a replacement door. A few weeks later, I stopped by to check the status and was told a replacement order did not exist and that if I wanted to get the correct size I would have to place a new order and the door I had was a custom order and non-refundable. The other door I ordered I had issues with as well. Some of it was on my end and my naivete, but given how direct I was with them about my knowledge at the time of order, it could have been prevented by them providing good information and customer service at time of order or at pickup. They didn't tell me that installing the door with a professional installer would be extremely difficult until I had tried myself and ran into issues. I would have hoped that they would have worked with me to correct the order. However, as Nathan said in his May 2020 review, 'their customer service is entitled, defensive, rude and placing ALL of the blame on their customer.' I have $500 worth of doors that I can't use and will have to start over

She acted like I was bothering her just by calling, gave short, unhelpful answers, and seemed completely disinterested in actually helping. If this is the kind of person they have representing their business at the front line, I can only imagine the rest of the operation. Customer service starts with the first point of contact, and unfortunately, Emily set the tone in the worst way possible. I won't be doing business here again, and I'd suggest others look elsewhere if you expect even basic professionalism.

My excuse is when they pre hang doors they actually set the hinges flush with the jamb and I haven't found that in Colorado yet. They also HAD a decent guy working trim. NOW the bad. If I could give zero stars I would. They never answer the phone so it's sometimes necessary to physically go there to make an order. This has been the same for the 3 years I've been going and it's gotten worse. Much worse. They flat out don't give a care about other human beings. Even the nice lady they hired to answer the phone complained that all the customers give her grief because nobody ever returns calls and it's worthless to transfer them to voicemail. The last order I specifically told their new guy Tom I don't want MDF jambs. He of course stated he would never get MDF jambs. I got MDF After waiting 11 days. The delivery never showed till 6:37pm and no phone call. More than 1/2 of the order was incorrect And it didn't show. Now 13 days after placing my order and complaining to the GM Tom calls me and tells me the door hardware was not ordered as he thought it was in stock. Now I get to wait another 2 weeks. He actually tried to blame me as I cancelled most of the order that wasn't delivered which was 2 days ago and he felt I cancelled the door hardware. I didn't. He knows and then quickly told me the previously mentioned reason. This is the worst place I've done business with since I started construction 37 years ago.

Tim Golden Hands - Old, rusted vent from bathroom ceiling. (Rusted from 25 years of moisture from the shower.)

7/12/25 Aurora, CO: So glad I called a Handyman instead of an electrician! I have a few…read moreelectricians I've used before, so I had a few to choose from when my light fell down a couple days ago. But they usually can't fit me in for a week or two. Plus, if all went well with the light, I had a few more items I wanted to discuss, and they would require a Handyman. So I called Tim (Artsem is his full name, in case you've seen that in other reviews), he picked up first call, I explained about the light, and I asked how soon he could come? I said "Can you come tomorrow?" Now I don't know if he usually works on Saturday, but he said "Sure, how about 9 - 10am?" Worked great for me! So I showed him the light, thinking he would have to get into the attic to get "above" the fixture to replace the cup-thing it screws into, but he said no, everything is done down below. So he ran to Home Depot to get the correct cup thing, and knowing he was heading to HD anyway, I said "See this rusted vent? I tried to unscrew it and change it myself, but it's caulked on tight. Can you replace that?" "Sure!" (Add $10 to my bill. I'm happy with that!!) So I showed him another vent in the basement, and he did that one also. While we were at it, I asked him to put some wall anchors on a tall set of cabinets in the garage, and anchor it to the wall so that it never tips over. And I showed him where a hook on the garage wall fell down because I hung too many folding chairs on it. He picked up some extra long screws at Home Depot, and took care of that too. In addition, I thought that my ceiling fan wasn't working, and had him look at it. He found the problem quickly, and it's working again! Same thing with a lightbulb in the basement subfloor that wasn't working, he got it working again. So I am super happy to have found Tim, and I will 100% for sure be using him again very soon, because I have lots more on my Honey-Do list. Someone asked in the Questions section how much he charges: I believe his minimum fee may be $100. But it seemed that each little thing that I asked him to do (like replace the vents, anchor the cabinet to the wall, re-hang the hook in the garage), he priced at $10 each. I believe he said he charges either "$60 per hour, or a flat rate", like when my fixture fell down, he asked me to send pictures, I did, and he texted me a flat rate without seeing it in person, and I loved his price and said yes. For small items that are quick, like 10 minutes, would be about $10. (He does add on the Home Depot price of whatever he has to buy to do it, so $16 for each of my vents. Therefore, $16 + $10 = $26. Can't beat that! So be sure and find a few items that need fixing, and call for it all to be done in one trip. I was 10/10 pleased with his pricing, I felt his prices are low, but his ability and expertise is high!! Anyway, if you live in Denver, I would call Tim, and if it is something he has done before and knows how to do, I bet you are going to be super happy like I am!! Thanks, Tim!
