Not a lot of time in my lunch hour so I was very happy to get in an out quickly. I needed to make a major decision, choose a grout color. To those who have never had to make this decision, it can either make or break your project. Go with the wrong color and it looks like you had Stevie Wonder doing it for you. I was more then glad to let someone help me make the decision about this so I was quickly shown all the colors, helped with the decisions of what colors would "go" and quickly eliminated those that I did not like. Once the decision was made, I basically had to stand there and swipe the card. The gent who was assisting me ran to the back and came out with a box of all the things I needed: The right Color Caulk, Spacers, Colored Grout, the stuff to mix with it so I didn't have to seal it ever, which if you have ever sealed grout you know what a pain that is. Once I swipped my card he grabbed the box and started walking outside with out even being asked and grabbed the bucket of pre mixed mastic on the way out the door. Again, pre mixed is the way to GO! I have purchased from several of the stores in the chain and was very happy to be able to get in, get out and get going.

We liked the color in the store but they only had 15sq ft, so they had to get more from the warehouse. When we picked it up and took it home not only was the match terrible, but it wasn't even the same size as our tile. Unfortunately when trying to return it we were told it was special order no returns. When I explained that I was told this was coming from their warehouse, the salesperson said "it's from their warehouse not ours". Needless to say I now have 85sqft of the wrong tile. Their practices are deceptive and their customer service is an attitude of we just don't care. Spend your money somewhere else!

The store is well stocked, easy to locate what you need. I had found what I wanted on the website before visiting and my hubby was wise enough to tell me to check what aisle it's in which is clearly marked on the page of the item on their site. Thanks for that HF. Keep up the good work!

So I googled the tweezers, and found that Harbor Freight had a whole set of six long tweezers for $7! So off I trotted to the store. I ended up with the tweezers, giant carabiners for $1 (I'm going to use them to attach my tote bag to my rolling laptop bag. Or something else), a screwdriver set with mini heads, because every set I own has disappeared, so I'm hiding this one, and a couple of other small things. They have auto stuff, garden tools, power tools, welding tools, woodworking tools, and all manner of accessories. I didn't really check out the tools, because I have what I need, but prices really seemed reasonable. The auto polishes etc seemed expensive ($36 for one polish) but tbh I don't know the cost elsewhere. They really have an awesome selection, and the store is big, bright, well stocked, and clean. Employees are happy, especially the cashier, and helpful.

We ordered our materials for a sunroom remodel on May 13th and left feeling pretty positive. The…read moresliding door we needed wasn't in stock, so they ordered it. The lumber was delivered on the expected date of the 19th, and the delivery persons dropped it in the driveway. Tara had told my husband they would help us take it where we wanted. My husband moved all the supplies by himself to the back yard. Tara said she would check on that and never got back with us. The sliding door got an updated delivery date of June 8th. We were going to be finished by the room on May 30th and called them on the 22nd to cancel the door. They wouldn't cancel the order or work with us to restock it and charge a restocking fee. When we looked at the website it said there was a 30-day return policy. Tara said it was a special order and didn't qualify. So... we have a 72''x80'' door being delivered (we need 2 people there to help them) to our son's house sometime after the 8th - not sure exactly when. If you need one for an upcoming project, check Facebook. We'll be trying to offload it.

I like Lowe's. I usually go here every April for their mulch sale. Much cheaper than Home Depot…read more This year, they didn't have anyone outside to help load the bags, but that's okay. Their prices are roughly comparable to HD and Ace Hardware. The selection of wood stains could be better. They only carry two brands, and not a huge selection of colors. But they DO have the option of mixing your own stain. I have been terribly busy lately, and one thing that I've been doing is stripping, refinishing, and reupholstering furniture. I decided to buy an orbital sander, since a palm sander isn't always the best choice. Joe, in the tool department, was AWESOME. DeWalt is the gold standard. They have a deal where if you buy the tool, you get the batteries free, or vice versa. The sander is $169. Batteries are $199? But there was also a Craftsman deal. Buy battery for $99, get $59 tool free. So, since I'm not a professional, Joe and I agreed this was the better deal. I went to the register, and everything rang up at full price. The battery was $139. Ack!! Joe went to get the sign advertising the deal. He had to cut it down. And on the sign, in tiny print that neither of us had noticed, was the expiration date of January 3rd. Because the sign was still up, I was allowed to get the deal. Woohoo! I really appreciate that. Very good customer service from Lowe's, and Joe in particular. Lowe's is a gigantic and very well-stocked store. But it's really the people that make the difference. There was also a nice lady in the paint department who helped me choose a stain.

I offered barcode, pictures, social security card, and no. I lost my ID at a concert over the weekend and can't get into the MyColorado app. Make a blanket policy because not knowing what I need when I go into a store is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention, the Hispanic woman working 4/28/2026 at about 8:30am was absolutely awful. No help at all, told me she couldn't do anything, didn't even give me an option to talk to anybody else for help when I asked. Awful service and even more awful corporation. Do not give your service to Lowe's until they get their business figured out.

For someone like me who isn't very great with tools, the service was more than valuable. Svetlana, the scheduler, was responsive with scheduling and flexible to my availability. They were nice enough to come the day after Christmas, which was technically a federal holiday. She told me the price up front. She also found me a wire cover on Amazon to order and sent me instructions on how to purchase them. Artsem, the technician, arrived mostly on time (within the window I was given). He was very friendly and efficient. He wasted no time in getting the TV measured and holes drilled. The entire process took about one hour. He also was very tidy, laying down paper towels before drilling and cleaning up his area. He made sure everything was adjusted to the height I preferred. I really appreciated his insight on where to place the wires to make the console look most beautiful. His expertise was apparent throughout. At one point the drill bit I was sent along with the wire hiding kit broke. Luckily, Artsem came prepared with a spare bit and everything was saved. The price, including the $50 deposit, came out to $215 for the wire hiding and mounting. I paid $50 beforehand and $165 after completion. I'd say it's worth it. He came with all the tools, on time, and finished the job quickly. Everything is straight and level too. He also told me to save the pieces he drilled out from the wall so that I could fix the wall when I move out from my rented place. I appreciate that he's thinking ahead like that. Last, he accepts Venmo. Overall, a great value and a great team of folks.

7/12/25 Aurora, CO: So glad I called a Handyman instead of an electrician! I have a few…read moreelectricians I've used before, so I had a few to choose from when my light fell down a couple days ago. But they usually can't fit me in for a week or two. Plus, if all went well with the light, I had a few more items I wanted to discuss, and they would require a Handyman. So I called Tim (Artsem is his full name, in case you've seen that in other reviews), he picked up first call, I explained about the light, and I asked how soon he could come? I said "Can you come tomorrow?" Now I don't know if he usually works on Saturday, but he said "Sure, how about 9 - 10am?" Worked great for me! So I showed him the light, thinking he would have to get into the attic to get "above" the fixture to replace the cup-thing it screws into, but he said no, everything is done down below. So he ran to Home Depot to get the correct cup thing, and knowing he was heading to HD anyway, I said "See this rusted vent? I tried to unscrew it and change it myself, but it's caulked on tight. Can you replace that?" "Sure!" (Add $10 to my bill. I'm happy with that!!) So I showed him another vent in the basement, and he did that one also. While we were at it, I asked him to put some wall anchors on a tall set of cabinets in the garage, and anchor it to the wall so that it never tips over. And I showed him where a hook on the garage wall fell down because I hung too many folding chairs on it. He picked up some extra long screws at Home Depot, and took care of that too. In addition, I thought that my ceiling fan wasn't working, and had him look at it. He found the problem quickly, and it's working again! Same thing with a lightbulb in the basement subfloor that wasn't working, he got it working again. So I am super happy to have found Tim, and I will 100% for sure be using him again very soon, because I have lots more on my Honey-Do list. Someone asked in the Questions section how much he charges: I believe his minimum fee may be $100. But it seemed that each little thing that I asked him to do (like replace the vents, anchor the cabinet to the wall, re-hang the hook in the garage), he priced at $10 each. I believe he said he charges either "$60 per hour, or a flat rate", like when my fixture fell down, he asked me to send pictures, I did, and he texted me a flat rate without seeing it in person, and I loved his price and said yes. For small items that are quick, like 10 minutes, would be about $10. (He does add on the Home Depot price of whatever he has to buy to do it, so $16 for each of my vents. Therefore, $16 + $10 = $26. Can't beat that! So be sure and find a few items that need fixing, and call for it all to be done in one trip. I was 10/10 pleased with his pricing, I felt his prices are low, but his ability and expertise is high!! Anyway, if you live in Denver, I would call Tim, and if it is something he has done before and knows how to do, I bet you are going to be super happy like I am!! Thanks, Tim!
