KFT has a number of perks if you download the app, so I came by for a couple of drinks on several occasions. Bubble tea is pretty standard here, KFT uses milk powder for the milk teas but I appreciate that they have lactose free milk options called the WOW series. My first visit I came around 8PM and the boba wasn't cooked right, hardened from maybe sitting out for a while? 2nd and 3rd visit a bit earlier in the evening the boba was cooked ok. Not consistent, I like them cooked a lil soft. I tried their TKK Fried chicken thighs "Crispy Mild" and didn't taste any spicy heat. The chicken is pretty crispy, came out piping hot but I had to wait over 15-20 minutes for it to be ready... I asked why it was taking so long and the staff person said it's because they "make it fresh". I think the chicken is kinda pricey though, 2 thighs for $5 and their combo meals, sandwiches, etc are definitely pricier than similar style Chick-fil-A or KFC. I didn't like that they charge $0.25 extra if you want some dipping sauce for the chicken.

Tried the spicy chicken tenders. Did not disappoint at all! Tastes as good as it smells. The three-piece was a good amount too, and it actually wasn't too spicy. The only slightly disappointing part was that the sauces were store-bought.

YES!! I can't believe there is finally a Kung Fu Tea at the JHU Homewood campus. Bubble tea is my go-to snack at all times of the day, and I will be visiting this place often. What's even better is that this KFT has partnered with TKK Fried Chicken, a Taiwanese chain of fried chicken restaurants headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan that just recently came to the US. That means you can get delicious fried chicken alongside KFT drinks!! I came on a Friday evening to order dinner for take-out. Things were pretty COVID-safe, with a plastic shield between the workers and customers, contactless payment, and signs at each table asking people to wear masks in the store. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, spicy crunchy tenders with sweet chilli sauce, and TKK famous fried chicken. One bite of their spicy hot chicken sandwich and I was floored...so juicy and flavorful!! Also, I was surprised by how the breading was nice and thin yet crispy (they say they only do a single layer of breading fried in pure soybean oil to preserve juiciness). Each combo comes with a side dish of your choice and a biscuit, definitely enough food for a whole dinner meal. Sauces are $0.25 extra and lots of options here: tangy honey mustard, spicy buffalo, classic ranch, sweet chilli, and smokey BBQ. So excited to come back and try all their other fried chicken options!!

I had a hankering for tea and came across this spot near JHU. The smell of the chicken was divine, but I resisted and chose a Thai milk tea with boba. I thoroughly enjoyed it on a warmer day. The place has a giant menu with drinks made-to-order. You can choose your own level of sweetness and ice content. There are definite undergrad vibes in the restaurant which is staffed with what I presume are college kids. They were are efficient and courteous. And no, my hand isn't huge; the drinks are a bit small for the price which is my only gripe.

If you want to find a great tasting Juicy Spicy chicken sandwich, look no further TKKs spicy chicken sandwich was to die for. The sandwich was well cooked and not over seasoned with every bite you tasted all the seasoning in the sandwich now the side I got with it was the fried Cheese Curd & to wash it all down Rosehip lemonade w/ Bubba!!! Go Get it now and let me know what you think about it thanks for the great experience guys!!! I'll be back

I know that sounds dramatic but it's true! I was shocked! The fries were a nice accompaniment that matched the chicken in quality + I love the addition of a pickle. I ordered the house BRD sauce and honey mustard and both were perfect in my eyes! The only downside was the wait, but I see it more as a testament to how good it is-- it was worth the wait for me, and it seems like many others would agree! In general I love that it's in R House, a great place to take friends and make sure that everyone has an option they will enjoy.

It did take a bit longer than I expected, but when I got my food, it was evident that it was cooked fresh to order. I got my tenders plain because I don't love spicy food, and it was delicious. I also got fries, a side of BRD sauce, ranch sauce, and a slice of seasoned bread. Everything was tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. For $15 it was a solid amount of food and the tenders are HUGE. I couldn't even finish the meal. I would definitely check out this spot again for fresh fried chicken.

I love the…read moregentle Cajun flavoring of the coating on this fried chicken, and you can get additional gently-cajun Krunch sauce or spicy buffalo sauce or other sauces on the side. I stopped by at 11am on a weekday, and the chicken was piping hot and juicy, much fresher than other fast-food chicken places. The tasty coating had a nice slight crisp to it, though it wasnt as crunchy as the fast-food brand that starts with a P. As I ate in my car, several roadwork crews walked by with their KKC© bags, so it's pretty well known along this part of US-40. There's parking out front for about 30 vehicles, and it's just a few steps from a large mall parking lot. This place is between a Goodyear and an AT&T, all in a little strip mall of their own. It's easy to find. When you're driving west, just turn in at the several Krispy Krunchy Chicken banners on the westbound side of Baltimore National Pike just west of I-695 and look for Poblano. It's a little tricky coming east: you have to drive past Alexander Av, (no matter what your map-app says), and do a u-turn where you would be going into the Lidl - Home Depot parking lot. I mention this because of course I made the wrong turn the first time. Then come back to those KKC banners, and go into Poblano Halal Mexican Grill.

I ordered the Garden Salad with crispy chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh everything was. The lettuce was crisp, the vegetables tasted fresh, and the crispy chicken was hot, flavorful, and cooked just right with a satisfying crunch. The portion size was generous, making it a filling meal without feeling too heavy. The restaurant was clean, my food came out quickly, and the staff was friendly. It's a great option if you're staying or working downtown and want something fresh while still getting that crispy chicken craving. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend the Garden Salad with crispy chicken if you're looking for a lighter meal that doesn't sacrifice flavor.

We both got the chicken sandwich. The menu is small, or I'm sure Jeremy would have ordered more than one sandwich. He did also get the bucket of "Korean Chicken" but that thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and he wasn't brave enough to eat much of it. I'm not sure what makes that chicken Korean. It has a nice breading, but one does expect certain flavors when ordering Korean chicken. There's no soy or garlic here, no spice. The chicken is also cut/chopped in such a haphazard manner that the first bite I took was composed only of small rib bones. You really can't tell what you're getting (because of the thick breading) until the chicken is in your mouth, and then there's the possibility that there won't be any meat in that bite. These tiny bones are dangerous. Spitting them out is messy, but necessary. No one should have to spit out a mouth-full of bones. EVER. There isn't any "Hot" in anything that we ordered, either. I do appreciate that the coleslaw is coarsely chopped, and well sauced and seasoned but part of the draw (at least for me) of having coleslaw on a sandwich is to soothe the burn of a hot sauce or seasoning. While it does add a nice crunch, is it really needed on an already crispy sandwich? Not really. It just makes your roll mushy. I suggest getting it on the side. The chicken on the sandwich was great. It's well-breaded and crispy. It's a decent size piece of chicken. The huge dill pickle slices are also perfectly briny to cut through some of that fried-ness. It's a very appealing contrast. Service was friendly and speedy, but there's really nothing I would go back for.
