as the only customer I was happy thinking I would be in and out quickly. the only technician,a male, was on the phone and mentioned a heat problem but he sat me any way. he walked away numerous times. what should have been a quick change of tips became 90+ minutes of me sitting alone in the chair as he walked away or of him working on my nails and not paying any attention. for example he put 3 tips on and closed the box then shook his head and continued . I should have left once I was done but thought maybe I could relax with a pedicure. he sat me in the chair, put my feet in the water and walked away again for over 5 minutes. I dried my feet and prepared to leave. he then apologized and said he would do them now. paid my bill but refused to leave a tip. I have been picking wrap off my fingers for an hour. absolutely the worst nail experience I have ever had. read more

The guy with the blonde highlights did my nails. They are all different shapes and the paint job is crappy

I would not recommend. My friend and I came here because our normal place did not have room and we forgot to make a reservation. (1). They cut both of us. (2) I asked if they had room for 2 they said yes... then did my friend and then me. Took way too long. (3) I asked for short and round and I got all different sizes and lengths. (4) I paid for a manicure for cuticles and it looks so bad (5) my friend wanted square and they grounded them and she stopped them after 2 nails and he was like it's too late. (6) they were not friendly Last it cost the same as a nail place just down the road that is cleaner, fancy, feels like a spa, and more professional. I would recommend you just drive down the road to Anthony Vincent read more

I'm really surprised by the bad reviews, I've never had a bad experience. The place is always clean. The staff is always friendly. They can get me in just about every time I call they're very accommodating and professional my nails always turn out great. read more

Do NOT go to this salon. It will be a horrible and stressful experience for you, and a complete waste of your hard earned money. I've been going to this salon for a while. After bad experiences every single time, I'm done! One person is the reason for the hostile environment in this salon. Her name is Kitty, she is the owner. She frightens the clientele away, and she cannot keep the nail techs. There are new techs all of the time, a constant turnover! Kitty is very rude, downright mean!!! She is a very angry person!! She hollers and belittles the employee in front of everyone. It is completely uncalled for, especially when the employees have done nothing wrong!! Because of Kitty, the atmosphere and environment in the salon is very-very tense, completely hostile!! Kitty even argues with the clientele!! It is completely unwarranted!! It is completely uncalled for!! Kitty. Is. A. Bully!!! The salon is so tense, very frightening!! Kitty also overbooks everyone!! If you have an appointment, you could still be waiting 30-60 minutes. In addition she will take walk-ins over people with appointments. My last appointment I still waited 45 minutes to be seen. In the meantime, Kitty was taking phone appointments and walkins. Kitty and another nail tech were the only two employees there, on a Saturday. Instead of telling people to come back, Kitty kept lying. She tells people there was only a 15 minute wait!! When I finally left, 7 people were still waiting, some of them close to an hour!! Many other people got mad and left. Kitty's philosophy is quantity, over quality. Because the techs are so overworked, stressed and tense, they have to rush through manicures and pedicures, resulting in poor quality results. It is not their fault. This is the worst salon I have ever been to. I will never go again. read more

I don't recommend this nail salon. A lady before me got her nails done. That's not the issue. Issue is that the person doing my nails never sanitized any of the materials he used to give me a full set of acrylics. He used the exact same things as he did on the lady getting her nails done before Me. I even got the same towel as the lady before me to catch the nail dust. Besides being dirty, my nails came out in very bad quality and and my cuticle were cut pretty badly by guy doing my nails. Do not recommend, surprised I don't have an infection right now read more

Probably the worst salon experience my mom and I have ever had. I'm from Kansas City and was in town to see my family. My mom and I wanted to bond and get pedicures while I was home. We came here to try it out since it was close by. Multiple things went wrong and it was so bad that we had to tell everyone we saw that day about our experience. While getting the massage portion, both workers started off giving a seemingly normal massage. But then they literally started PUNCHING the bottoms of our feet! Not massaging, PUNCHING!Then my mom's guy started to pull on each of her toes, causing them to pop. We tried to get past this, assuming this was some weird thing that they thought felt good for us? But then they started to use the exfoliant on our legs and feet. It was such a harsh exfoliant, and my lady was rubbing it so hard into my legs that when I looked down afterwards, I had a rash and red dots all over my legs. It didn't go away until a day or so. Now most places don't do hot stones for pedis, and normally I do enjoy hot stones. But as I was talking to my mom during the pedis, I all of a sudden feel burning on one of my legs. The lady gave NO heads up and it literally felt like my skin was burning off. I literally yelped out and moved my leg because I had no idea what was happening. To top everything off, most of my pedis last a month and after a week my polish was chipped. Just don't go here... there's better places in the monument and Colorado Springs areas to get your nails done. read more

My sister and I both had Mani/Pedi's sch'd, they were on time and my guy was super nice which is why 2 rather than only 1 star, both were super fast and what we considered incomplete services, did not take time to clean up cuticles, barely any soaking time and limited lotion rub, Mani and Pedi DONE in less than an hr total!! Price was ridiculous for service rendered. Polish chipped within a few days and I'm retired so not aggressive with my nails, only 1 wk later and looks like nothing was ever done, so disappointing. read more

This was our first time here. My sister in law took me for a pedicure for my birthday. I am absolutely flabbergasted at the treatment I received from the moment we walked in. After a verbal attack from one of their employees (My nail tech), I asked for a different nail tech. He was very nice and did all he could to correct the situation. The manager came over and apologized, along with giving me a $10 gift certificate. I'll be mailing it back to them, as I will never be going back there again. I was in tears when I I left. I have never been treated like that by another person in my life. read more

I went to TK nails on 105 at the beginning of March and had my nails done by Kitty. They lasted 4 weeks without getting a fill, I was so thrilled. I went back and had a fill done by another person. A guy, it took him over 2 hrs and was horrible, they were ugly, he cut my fingers while filing the nails, etc. They lasted like 3 days. Anyway, I went back for a new set last weekend and asked Kitty if she would do my nails but she was busy, I said I'd rather make an appointment and come back some other time that have someone else do the job. She insisted that another guy do my nails and said he was really good. Again, they were coming of 4 days later and the gel polish was fading so I went to get them fixed. Kitty was rude, not listening to me at all, said it was my fault and that probably my hand lotion was making them fade. Had all kind of excuses! I will never go there again. read more

Will never return to this place. It was my first & last visit. I can see now I should have read reviews. Apparently others feel the same. They refused to sculpt acrylic nails insisting I needed tips. I didn't want tips so agreed to gel nails but ended up with shorter & uglier nails than what I walked in with! The work was sloppy & overly priced. I don't mind paying for a good job but the nails were not well manicured & they cut me twice. Just very, very sloppy work with an attitude to boot! Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere! read more

My daughter and I went here and I must say that the place was very clean and the staff were delightful. My daughter is 6 and got the mani/pedi and they did a great job. read more

My daughter and I went to get pedicures. The salon is nice and clean, but we didn't find the staff to be very friendly. Anyways, my daughter's manicurist did a good job on her feet, however my manicurist did not. She didn't shape or file my toenails - my nails were left with rough edges and there is no uniformity at all in the shape of my toenails. some are straight across, others rounded, some longer than others, etc. which makes the polish job look badly done. She was also very rough handling my feet and legs, and when it came time to polish, she rushed through it. the nail polish I chose had flecks of dried polish in it. when I pointed out that there were flecks of it on my big toe, she scraped off one fleck and kept using the polish. at that point it was more than obvious that she could care less about the quality of her work and just wanted the pedicure to be over with. as a result, I've lost half of the polish on that toe. The short of it is, this is one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. We spent $47 each plus tip for 35 minutes of pedicure.....clearly didn't get our money's worth. we were looking for a salon to frequent monthly, but this isn't the one. We won't be back. read more

I've tried both locations with less than great results. Too harsh on nails, scrapping and such and now they are weak. Edges are unfinished and not filed evenly so they snag. Disappointing. read more

I moved here in June. I can all to this salon & have done so regularly until last week. I arrived. They weren't busy. I was so excited no one was working around the gel color wall. I wanted to pick out a color from the wall (I like the names of polish). A young gal, employee was so bothered by me looking at the wall (I didn't touch anything)...she wanted me to pick from the basket of colors. I said I know, I hear you but I really want to look directly at the opi names on the wall. She was clearly agitated. I picked a color & sat down where she told me. It seemed like her station as she kept coming over constantly to get things. She started me w/soaking my fingers in water. A mom & daughter walked in & asked if they had time for pedicures. The young gal said yes. They were seated & tended to. She told me someone else would take care of me. She pointed to another employee, I sat for a few min. I finally got up and walked over to see how far along this lady was and she was in the middle of an acrylic set so I was going to be there for a very long time. So I told the young employee "I'm out. This is so rude I was here before the mother & daughter, no offense to them..." and I said so and the young employee said, "they have an appt." I said, "no they don't! They asked if you had time when they walked in!" I will never return & I will make sure I share my experience with anyone who is asking for a nail reference for the Monument area. I was a loyal customer until this incident. read more

I have been to this nail salon a few times. Each time hoping to have a least a decent experience. So far I can't say that I have had one. The first time I made an appointment and waited 45 minutes while they took walk-ins in front of me who did not have an appointment. I was so disgusted I finally got up and left. The second time I went there I didn't make an appointment since it was pointless and had a nail service. Because they were overbooked my hands were soaking in acetone for at least 40 minutes my skin was raw and sore for a few days after due to soaking in chemicals for so long. The girl who was next to me said the same thing that her fingers were raw from soaking an acetone for so long while she waited for her nail tech. Out of sheer desperation I went there recently for a pedicure and no surprise it was equally disappointing. The owner of the Salon is rude and disrespectful Often yelling at her staff ...it's just is not a pleasant experience. By the way the polish came off less than 24 hours later. This nail salon is the total waste of time and money. it's worth a short down ride down the road to a different salon. I will not be returning thankfully. It is not a pleasant experience!! read more

Very nice people working here, and for a better price than a lot of what you'll find in Monument. It's tucked back in the far corner of the shopping plaza, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pedicure I got here. Regular spa chair pedicure was $28...not too shabby. read more

I went with my sister and asked for black nails but got purple instead which was fine but they looked like teeth, which made me severely uncomfortable. I hated them but didn't say anything because it was expensive and ended up biting them off during gym 2 days later. If I do ever go again I'll either 1) have someone new do them or 2) show a clear picture of black, square nails. read more

Nice, clean salon. Very nice people. She did a great job on my gel manicure and pedicure. I will definitely go back. Google was showing a weird address. They're actually near Rosie's Diner. read more

After reading previous reviews it seemed like TK nails would be the perfect choice for a pedicure and gel manicure. While the workmanship on my manicure, so far, is lasting nicely, the lady was rather rude. I tried to ask a question and was told to "talk to my friend ". I never got an answer to my question. My pedicure is holding up, too, but again the customer service was lacking. Very rough treatment throughout, and the massage at the end left my left foot bruised. Im giving two stars, and this disappoints me because I was very excited for the experience there after all the other reviews. On a more positive note I will say that the salon is VERY clean and well appointed. read more

I went in for a basic spa pedicure, and that's precisely what I got. The ladies were nice and the salon was clean and in good shape. She did a good job on my polish. I wish there had been a few options for upgrades...longer leg scrubby massage or paraffin, etc. read more

Extremely unprofessional business. Had an appointment with my mother at 2 for mani and pedi and 2 hours later we are still here. They take every walk in, don't honor appointments, and technicians pressure into more services. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had. got charged 5 times for the same service. An excess of $160 taken out of my account. When I told the man that charged my card what had happened he said they were pending charges and would NOT leave my account. Two days later the funds left my account so I went back to the salon to get my money back. They said they couldn't find the charges and would not issue me a refund. I had to go to my bank and dispute the charges as fraud. An unnecessary hassle and unnecessary stress. On top of all of that, my nails don't even look good. I got shellac on Monday, it's Wednesday and it's peeling. NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. read more

I walked in and was immediately seated with a tech. She unfortunately had the phone with her. She proceeded to answer 12 calls for the business, each one needed her to make a call afterward. This was during my "spa" (more expensive) pedicure. She was up and down the whole time. She was so distracted trying to conduct her business that she nicked my toe with the scissors. Then she sat me at the dryer for a half hour, much longer than it took for the polish to dry, and ignored me. I found nothing relaxing about the experience. I would rather have waited a few minutes for someone who wasn't in charge of the phone. I will not go back, instead I will look for a place that values their clients' experience. read more

I have been here four times now... The first time I was reluctant to go back because the shape of my nails were awful and I was cut multiple times while having my nails filed by one of the male technicians. The next two times my nails were done by Kitty and there were no more cuts or sore fingers, but some nails would be longer/shorter than others. The 4th, and last time I will ever try to go here my nails were done by Kitty again but, over half of my fingers were bleeding by the end of the appointment and all of my nails are different lengths. Not to mention on there price "menu" an acrylic fill should only be $25, but I have been charged $40-$50 each time. read more

This place was very clean and friendly upon coming in. They were very busy for a Wednesday, but we're so efficient! I was impressed. They were very orderly and took care of everyone! People working here are always super friendly, but I've been here many times and the last few times I haven't been impressed. I made a 4:00 appointment a week in advanced and once I got there I had to wait another hour. A week later when I was at work one of the nails came completely off. I also asked to have them shorten and the man laughed and said 'they weren't long'. And never filed them down. Probably won't be returning read more

Fantastic place. Everyone is so nice, and the place is one of the cleanest nail salons I've been to. Will definitely go again!

I called and made an appointment for my daughter and I. We each booked a manicure and pedicure. Our pedicures were great and the flower design on my daughters feet was beautiful. The problem was with our manicures. Her's was performed from the pedicure chair and the paint flaked off the next day. Mine was also started from the pedicure chair and was very uncomfortable. I had to keep twisting for the lady to work on my left hand. We eventually did go to her station but it was rushed. read more

My first pedicure since COVID restrictions lifted and I can't tell you how dissatisfied I am. My family and I tried to give her grace in the lateness in keeping our appointment. people getting in after restrictions lifted I'm sure are very hard. However...The owner Kitty was extremely argumentative, hostile, and screaming. My scheduled appointment was over an hour late, she kept answering the phone scheduling even more people in the salon even though she could not possibly service the over capacity filled and all that were there. She screamed that even with an appointment I could not pay for an upgraded pedicure as she needed to see more people. She screamed and yelled to be patient. She ruined my daughters dipped treatment by using a different color on the sides and then proceeded to argue with my daughter that it was the same. When my daughter started crying, Kitty was abusive and demeaning. As we left she was still abusive and screaming.I will NEVER service this business again. If there is one thing I've learned throughout the pandemic is that tip top service is key. While we do need to have grace for businesses, I am tired of said businesses using the pandemic for shoddy and sub par service. Kitty's abusive nature is absolutely uncalled for and a disgrace to our community. read more

Teenager answering phones and checking guests in was very rude. I was shuffled to a table and had my hands stuck in a bowl full of what looked like water. No one had told me this was acetone...and it wasn't like I could distinguish its chemical smell in a room full of strong smells. By the time I realized my hands were soaking in a corrosive chemical it was too late, they were dried out and my skin looked damaged. Not even an apology was uttered. What I've noticed about a couple of nail salons in Monument is rude customer service. This salon definitely had rude technicians...which is strange because one would think they'd like to earn better tips. Be polite to your customers! I'll be checking out a different spot next time. read more
