We LOVE coming here for pedicures. I moved to Denver several years ago and still make a point of driving down to Monument - no one in Denver compares! Very clean salon run by a friendly family. I love seeing Cookie, the mini yorkie dog that's in the salon too! They really scrub your feet and thoroughly remove the dead skin (yuck!). Pedicures include hot stones for your feet and a shoulder massage while your polish dries. I've found that they get busy during the obvious hours, but calling ahead has prevented any problems and I love having extra time to soak my feet and sit in the massage chairs. Brought my mother in law for a pedi and was very disappointed. They are both very unprofessional. They girl used a tool that scrapped my callus. Which I really dont much of it. She placed my feet back in the water and it burned. She cut my heels. And the guy came out to finish and said it's just dry skin. It was not dry skin. It was painful. Overpriced and under good. This Salon does sloppy work, they charge 28% more than every other nail salon around, and to top it off they only take cash,which fortunately I had, otherwise I would have had to use their overpriced ATM machine. I only went here because I didn't want to get my toes done at Walmart. Next time I'll go to Walmart. This place charges $32 for a subpar pedicure. The woman who I think owns it is a little on the witch side. I don't know why they think their services warrant the extra cost, but trust me they don't. I would go anywhere else than this. I got a pedicure a couple weeks ago here. The atmosphere wasn't very comfortable. It was silent, no music or radio playing, like at other places. Every breath I took could be heard throughout the room. I don't like that kind of environment. The staff is nice enough, but not overly friendly. And they have an adorable little dog! But I do wish they wouldn't let it jump onto your seat... The tools didn't seem as sterile as other places I've been too in Colorado. They just gave everything a quick wipe and the dead-skin scraper had rust on it, which I wasn't thrilled about. I thought about asking her to get another one. As far as the quality of the pedicure, it was well done, but not amazing. The color selection was sub-par; not very many to choose from. And unfortunately, the polish hasn't lasted as long as my previous pedicure did. I would go back, but I wouldn't highly recommend it. read more

I'd give Queens 5 stars if it wasn't one of the most expensive nail salons in the area. But it's worth it for me. I've only gotten pedicures there, and they really do a great job. I'm a runner, so my feet need a lot of TLC, and Queens provides it. They aren't afraid to scrape my calluses or to make my black and blue toenails look pretty. During drying, they put hot stones under your heals, and it feels so good! read more

Agree with all the other comments - the lady owner is very rude can tell she is just trying to get you in and out ASAP. Overpriced as well it was around $70 for a mani / pedi which has to be paid in cash since they do not have a credit system, would never go back. read more

I had previously been to an overrated nails salon in Colorado Springs. I had to wait for 25 minutes and I had an appointment. The salon was dirty and the stations were dirty as well. I walked in. Yung did my fill. My nails were in awful shape. Everything was so clean. My nails look beautiful and it wasn't too expensive. I am so happy. I will be back. Thank you so much. read more

I agree with Bobbie who said that this is one of the more expensive places, but unfortunately you don't feel good about paying more here. This salon appears to be owned by a wife/husband duo, the wife being the primary 'owner' I reference. First, when you walk in you have to deal with the owner's dog barking and running around underfoot. Please understand that I have a dog and love them... but I also know that they are unsanitary dirt machines and don't belong in this type of establishment. Second, when the owner tried to make both of my hands fit into a tiny dish filled with 1/2 inch of nail polish remover, my hands started cramping and actually started to become uncomfortably cold. After the third time of telling the owner that my hands didn't fit she only deemed it necessary to add a little more nail polish remover to the bowl -- and I gave up with attempting to remove the polish on both hands at the same time. When that process was finished, she took the remainder of my nail polish remover and placed it into a mug. Later, to my horror, I saw that she actually gave my discolored, used solution (along with whatever used nail polish remover medley was in that cup) to a new customer for soaking. (I'm sure glad that I didn't have any open wounds on *my* fingers... who knows what else was in that mug.) I had a gel manicure and was unimpressed at the results - it wasn't done as neatly as it could have been and only shows that the owner doesn't (a) care or (b) pay attention to detail. I was charged $40 for this service (much more than what other salons charge) and had to pay cash because this salon doesn't take credit cards. I wish I could rate this place higher, but it just isn't appropriate - the questionable sanitary conditions, the attitudes, and the cost means that I'll only be coming back if NO PLACE ELSE is available. read more

This is the only place my neighbor and I will go. It doesn't seem any more expensive to me than many of the places in the Springs. It is owned by a husband and wife, but it has such a down home feel, and once they get to know you, remember you and talk all the time. I've always loved the way my toes look after, and never had a complaint. read more

Worst manicure ever! The gal cute my cuticles too short. Had to wear band-aides for a week on two of my fingers. The lines were not clean for my French manicure. Air bubbles in the polish. Horrible job! This place was the most expensive I've been to in monument. The owner was just too rough. Getting a manicure is suppose to be a relaxing experience not torture! Absolutely love this salon! It is always clean and the owners and staff take pride in their work and service. Very friendly and they greet everyone when they arrive and tell everyone good-bye when they leave. An added bonus is their little dog that greets everyone! Wonderful little place! The polish change for my daughter was awesome! It was like a mini pedi without the soaking (which she didn't need). They did a great job getting all the dead skin off my feet...and there was a lot. I hate shoes so my feet tend to look like caveman feet. I will come back! read more

I had my first visit at Queen's last weekend. I was greeted by all of the staff. They got me seated and going right away even though I was early. The gentleman who did my nails did an excellent job - great shape, a lot of layers of polish, etc. I found the lady owner to be very kind and attentive - even giving me a neck & shoulder massage while my nails dried. The worst experience ever! I took my 11 year old daughter here to get a manicure; it was supposed to be a nice mother-daughter event. My daughter bites her nails, so they are very short and aren't the most beautiful nails. Well, when the woman doing her nails first looked at them, she began to laugh; she then proceeded to hold my daughter's hand up to show a co-worker sitting a few chairs over, and they both laughed and began saying something, which my daughter couldn't understand. The whole time she was doing my daughter's nails, she was shaking her head and speaking under her breath. As if this was not bad enough, my daughter picked the nail polish she liked and set it on the table. The woman doing her nails said "yuck, eew, that is so ugly", then went and found another polish and painted my daughter's nails that color! I was not sitting near my daughter, so I did not see the woman laughing at her nails, but I did see her replace the color my daughter had chose, with another. As my daughter was drying her nails, she told me what had happened, and said "I never want to get a manicure again", she then started to cry. I was so furious, I am suprised I was able to control my anger. I attempted to explain to the woman that I would NEVER return to the establishment again and that she is an adult and should NEVER treat a child the way she did, but the lady told me she could not speak very good English, and therefore could not understand me!
