Therefore, for your own convenience, I suggest booking appointments slightly later in the morning so you're not waiting while cubicles and tools are being prepared. Regarding hygiene, I've noticed that certain nail tables weren't fully cleaned between clients, including occasionally seeing small dust particles left inside or above the UV lamp. Ideally, these areas should be wiped down after every service to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness. On a positive note, I've recently switched to Ms. Annie as my go-to nail artist, and she has been consistently pleasant, calm, considerate, and attentive. Depending on your/their vibe, energy, personality, and style preferences, it's easy to try different nail artists until you find a good match. The owner is not on-site, but the store manager is friendly and interacts with clients when needed. The staff in Colorado Springs was friendly but when I came in for my fill for my sculpted nails we ran into an issue. One of my nails seemed to maybe have a fungus so once discovered no more work was done on it. I totally understand not touching it again with community tools, and I'm thankful I was sent home with a file to work on it at home. But what I don't understand was, if you're going to send me home with a file and you have disposable paper mats you use when working on clients, why on that nail couldn't the rest of my sculpted gel be soaked off and my nail at least been filled down to match the length of my other nails with the file I was sent home with? Also at my home paint salon, in Michigan they offer refills on your drinks throughout your entire visit but not here. My technician didn't do the greatest at shaping my nails. I let them know I want the soak off and possibly a manicure. They quoted $10 for the removal (okay, great) then $35 for the manicure. I asked what those prices entail and they would not explain them. I then told them I need to think about it because $35 is a lot for a simple polish (not gel) manicure. Then they came back a few moments later and said the actual manicure was $50 so my total would be $60. Again, I asked them to explain what this included and they would not explain it to me. I told the guy that I am just trying to understand what I would be paying for, and he began talking at me saying he understood me but I do not understand him. I agreed and told him I was trying to understand him but he is not explaining. He continued yelling and told the guy working on my nails to finish. Well. When they were finished, not even all the acrylic was removed from my nails. I am still actively peeling off chunks which defeats the purpose of me paying to get them done, an I did not tip (which is VERY unlike me even with horrible service) I think the drawing line was that this man was yelling at me and they didn't even complete their one job. 0/5 stars (annoyed that I have to give at least 1) Never go here. They are lucky I paid them at all. They also use dirty tools and I was praying they wouldn't cut me.
