I typically go to Vu but due to him being out of town, me and my mother had to go to other nail techs. I was serviced by Kelly for a pedicure and have never been more disappointed and dissatisfied with a service here, than I was today. Me and my mother are here getting serviced and my mother's nail tech Tommy asked which pedicure and I chose Hers. Without even asking, my nail tech Kelly automatically assumed I was getting the same pedicure and gave me the wrong one and switched after I told her I didnt want that one. I also get acrylic on my two big toes. I always vocalize how I like them shaped and no one can ever do them right except for my typical nail tech Vu. So I ask if I am able to shape my one toe to show how I prefer The shape. She then proceeded to ask me to continue so she can take a video. I am adamant about letting her know I would Prefer not to be recorded. And then she continues to press and ask multiple times after I said no. So then she pull out her phone and still records me anyway. It was incredibly inappropriate and embarrassing. And now she has a video of my face in her phone with which she could do anything with or post anywhere without my knowing, or consent. I am very upset to say the least.

The first time full nail-set can be quite pricey, so I recommend keeping things simple for your initial visit. Choose 1 color, 1 theme, 1 material, and a normal nail length. An important area that needs improvement is hygiene and sanitation! At multiple visits, I've noticed that tools and tables did not get cleaned properly between clients, and even some of the implements and accessories stored in the carts beside each station had small traces and/or particles of dust. The UV/LED LAMPs also appeared to need more inside & exterior sanitation. Therefore, A much more consistent, detailed, and thorough wipe-down of all surfaces, instruments, and devices would significantly help reduce the risk of bacteria spreading... On top of that, this location states online that they open at 9AM; but in my experience, technicians are just entering the salon by that time themselves. You'll see them opening up the phone line, setting up the cashier area, unlocking back doors, and preparing their cubicles, carts, and stations little by little. His station didn't appear to be wiped clean, visible debris on the chair and throughout the work counter was evident. His tools were stored in a plastic box, not sterile, not freshly retrieved. Ventilation in the back room was fine until Michael decided to shake the towel he used to collect what ever he sanded and filed off my nails in front of me. Everything went airborne. The skin around one nail hurts from pushing back cuticles and cutting too much. A couple nails have rough edge finishes, filing was inconsistent. The staff in Colorado Springs was friendly but when I came in for my fill for my sculpted nails we ran into an issue. One of my nails seemed to maybe have a fungus so once discovered no more work was done on it. I totally understand not touching it again with community tools, and I'm thankful I was sent home with a file to work on it at home. But what I don't understand was, if you're going to send me home with a file and you have disposable paper mats you use when working on clients, why on that nail couldn't the rest of my sculpted gel be soaked off and my nail at least been filled down to match the length of my other nails with the file I was sent home with? Also at my home paint salon, in Michigan they offer refills on your drinks throughout your entire visit but not here. My technician didn't do the greatest at shaping my nails. I asked to change to a stiletto shape from an oval the slants are not even and some are more pointed and others are more rounded than others and some are like a bird beak curved down at the end.

I then told them I need to think about it because $35 is a lot for a simple polish (not gel) manicure. Then they came back a few moments later and said the actual manicure was $50 so my total would be $60. Again, I asked them to explain what this included and they would not explain it to me. I told the guy that I am just trying to understand what I would be paying for, and he began talking at me saying he understood me but I do not understand him. I agreed and told him I was trying to understand him but he is not explaining. He continued yelling and told the guy working on my nails to finish. Well. When they were finished, not even all the acrylic was removed from my nails. I am still actively peeling off chunks which defeats the purpose of me paying to get them done, an I did not tip (which is VERY unlike me even with horrible service) I think the drawing line was that this man was yelling at me and they didn't even complete their one job. 0/5 stars (annoyed that I have to give at least 1) Never go here.
