I had the best experience in 15 years yesterday here! I received a gift certificate for another nail salon in the area, and it was rushed and terrible! It was recommended to me to try this salon and ask for Kitty. Called, got in the next day. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Kitty took her time with my tiny beds, and even removed my dry, wintery cuticles. Kitty is absolutely AMAZING! This will be my regular nail salon and nail tech from now on! Thank you Kitty so much! read more

TK Nails Spa & Bar - French manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Monument, Colorado

Update! So the owner ended up doing my nails after waiting for 1 hour to be seen. One of the workers there told the owner to ask me if the water was still warm for my pedicure. The owner responded by saying no it's fine and only asked after her employee demanded her to ask me. After my manicure and pedicure I went to pay like normal. The same employee from earlier came to help check me out saying I should get a discount for how long I waited. When the owner heard it she told the employee not to give me a discount right in front of me after she did my nails. Long story short I paid 110$ for a terrible manicure and pedicure. The owner has no empathy for her customers and only cares about the money. She has no regards for quality service. read more

I have gone to this location twice now. First was to get a full set shellac. The older gentleman that did my nails was so rude and barely spoke. He forgot to do my cuticles and take the loose skin surrounding my nails off. My nails were longer on one hand then the other. And expensive! The next time I came my friend and I got pedicures. The same gentleman did a pedicure to my friend and did a horrible job and was again very rude. I had a women do my toenails, she was pleasant however, she made my toe nail completely infected. I did not have a hangnail or anything and by the time I left she created one. My toe has now been swollen and red with pus for a week!!! read more

Do NOT go to this salon. It will be a horrible and stressful experience for you, and a complete waste of your hard earned money. I've been going to this salon for a while. After bad experiences every single time, I'm done! One person is the reason for the hostile environment in this salon. Her name is Kitty, she is the owner. She frightens the clientele away, and she cannot keep the nail techs. There are new techs all of the time, a constant turnover! Kitty is very rude, downright mean!!! She is a very angry person!! She hollers and belittles the employee in front of everyone. It is completely uncalled for, especially when the employees have done nothing wrong!! Because of Kitty, the atmosphere and environment in the salon is very-very tense, completely hostile!! Kitty even argues with the clientele!! It is completely unwarranted!! It is completely uncalled for!! Kitty. Is. A. Bully!!! The salon is so tense, very frightening!! Kitty also overbooks everyone!! If you have an appointment, you could still be waiting 30-60 minutes. In addition she will take walk-ins over people with appointments. My last appointment I still waited 45 minutes to be seen. In the meantime, Kitty was taking phone appointments and walkins. Kitty and another nail tech were the only two employees there, on a Saturday. Instead of telling people to come back, Kitty kept lying. She tells people there was only a 15 minute wait!! When I finally left, 7 people were still waiting, some of them close to an hour!! Many other people got mad and left. Kitty's philosophy is quantity, over quality. Because the techs are so overworked, stressed and tense, they have to rush through manicures and pedicures, resulting in poor quality results. It is not their fault. This is the worst salon I have ever been to. I will never go again. read more

Great pedicure! Got the deluxe which came with celebratory Prosecco! Full service and the toes look Devine! Highly recommend!

paid around $80 for a pedicure and it was awful....didn't get to relax at all. the lady rushed through everything & no massage or hot rocks. then she went off to do someone's nails and said someone else would paint my toes. they heard me complaining so after waiting awhile, somebody came over and cleaned my nails, painted them and did a little massage. they also asked if I wanted a drink on the house....when a drink was supposed to be included in my pedicure. just a bad experience for someone who was really looking forward to some relaxation and a good pedicure. read more

I called to see if I could come in to have my dip polish removed. They said I didn't need an appointment and to pop in. After spending over an hour at the salon and soaking in acetone for over 30 minutes (skin sore), they sent me home like this after charging me $10 with nail polish stuck to my skin and my nails looking horrible. They made excuses as to why I had to soak so long but I know if I were getting a new manicure they wouldn't had my polish removed in minutes. read more

Seriously the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune to meet. I was "greeted" by a screeching banshee demanding I put my mask on to "make others feel better." It was a windy day. I have long hair. I walked in all tangled up and was just trying to organize my sunglasses/hair/mask. And I was instantly screamed at (not joking) by this woman. And.. this was a few days after mask mandates were lifted. Long story short, I told her (bc she had already been so rude) that I was vaccinated and masks were no longer a thing. She lost her damn mind. Sooo. Nope. I walked out. She just lost her business 4, bi-weekly customers. I spend about $400 a month on my family's nails, and had simply stopped in (as we just moved into the area) to ask a few questions about services and prices. Did not expect or appreciate this Salon's utter disrespect to its customers. I never even got to see if they were in any way decent at their job. So damn rude!!! Never going there again. read more

It makes me sad to see all the poor reviews for TK because I come here all the time and always have great experiences. They are always busy but do a wonderful job and the staff is so kind. Kitty did my nails today and is so sweet. She did a great job and is fun to talk to. Always 5 stars from me. I brought my bridal party here in October before my wedding and everyone had a great experience too. read more

we've usually gone here always because it's the closest but usually we've had a decent experience. but this one was a bit different. i was seen by the owner and got dip for the first time, the nails look great but she nicked me and it is the worst it's ever happened and she didn't even acknowledge it or apologize. the vibe was very scattered i will say i was seen by three different people for one set, kenny and linda are amazing and are very talkative and nice to talk to. but kitty the owner barely talked to me. the inside is very clean and appealing tho. read more

Had an absolutely horrible experience. Experienced three technicians being extremely rude to a young girl. It sounded like she wanted to change the color that she had chosen. One of the technicians actually yelled at her and told her to leave. The young girl offered to pay but they said just leave. It was a very unprofessional way of handling a situation. Won't be going back. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have never had an experience as bad as what I just went through. The owner's husband was assigned to do my dip set. He not only rushed through and burned me with the dremmel tool but when I pointed out that he had filed off ALL of the color and product on the sides of my nails he threw up his hands and said some else would have to fix them. His wife then came over to "fix" them and she started to use the wrong color. When I told her this she screamed at me! Yes actual screaming! That I was stupid and had no idea what I was talking about and that it was my color. I couldn't even leave since I was literally half done with product that I couldn't remove on my own. The owner was rude and hostile while slapping more and more uneven and lumpy product on my nails. Not even 24 hours later and they are already lifting. Stay far away from TK nails. read more

I was very disappointed in TK Nails today and especially kitty. I have been going to that salon for over two years and never walk out of there spending less than $100. I made an appointment for three of us to get one of the more expensive pedicures today for Mother's Day. We waited 40 minutes before any of us were started even though they continue to take walk-ins. They never tell anybody to come back in 20 or 30 minutes or possibly an hour they just continue to take everybody that walks in the door and then just try to rush you out as fast as they can. Kitty chewed out the gentleman that was doing my feet telling him he was taking way too long for me. And then she proceeded to tell me this is why she doesn't like to take appointments over holidays because they're way too busy. But she never told me that and made the appointments for me but it didn't seem to help having any appointments because we waited and she continued to take all the walk-ins anyway. I feel like we are just a number coming through the door. She doesn't value loyal customers or treat you special. She is more into quantity than quality. The gentleman that did my feet though is awesome his name is Young. He would be the only reason I would go back because it's not fair to him the way that kitty behaved read more

worst experience ever. The technician was so rude. he kept talking about me to his co-workers as if I wasn't there. I tried to ignore it and stick it out because I had been there for 50 min and wanted to get the nails done and out of there. he started berating me in front of the other customers so I left with paper thin, hideous nails, unfiled. The other customers were starting in disbelief at how he was speaking to me. He should be fired. read more

I've gone here a few times for dips. Usually fairly well done, but one time I got an infection that traveled up my whole finger and was so painful. Couple times they ran that electric file over my real nail so much, it was painful and my nail started to bleed. Tried someone else, and now every time I go, I have to wait 20+ minutes past my appointment time before they "get to me". Yesterday, I took my granddaughter so we could get pedis. We waited 20 minutes past our appointment time before we were acknowledged, and then soaked for another 20 minutes. My toe nails look so bad!!!! Really just awful. I will be taking the polish off and re-doing them myself. What a waste of time and money. Going to try a different place. read more

It was a very uncomfortable day. The "owners" were yelling at each other very loud in the back room. I guess they thought we could not hear them. Many in the establishment were concerned and looked around at each other. Bad business folks; take it outside, better yet save it for after hours. It was horrible. read more

Kitty is absolutely the best na tech I've ever had. But she has no concept or respect for YOUR time! I have attempted several times to communicate to her that I dont appreciate 1. Being called to come in early and wait 30 minutes for her to tally up receipts for an employee leaving for the day..2. Talking on the phone ect..and prolonging my appt ...3. Completely leaving me sitting there half way done and going in the back! And the last straw..I make an appt for 9am..bust my butt to get there and she is not even there! I am DONE with this salon!!!!! Don't go there if you value your time! read more

I went in to get a nail fixed right before I left for a trip. I basically was ignored even when a sweet lady told the man, who was doing nails, that it was okay to do my one. He ignored me. But, if there is not a sense of welcoming and customer service, I will take my hard earned money elsewhere. read more

I went to get my toes and nails done. Both were done very well. And everyone was very sweet. The building is also very clean and nice.

I've have followed the owners from their site off of 105 by the post office, then over to the Jackson Creek location and now at Woodmoor. I learned that they sold the other two locations but kept the Woodmore location. I would follow these guys anywhere for their spa services. Their prices are excellent compared to locations I've been to in Colorado Springs and Highlands Ranch/Lonetree. I love that they took this location to another level and added wine and champagne for special occasions. So smart. Kevin and Kitty are strong professionals in their field and I fully respect their work ethic as well as the spa experience that they create at their locations which is now just one location. I love the way they remodeled the location after buying it but love their friendliness and expertise the most. Highly recommend this location for spa services. read more

SICK of this place over booking themselves. I had an appointment for 1:45 today with my mom. I get there and I have to sit away from everyone and wait for a chair to open up. Again, I had an appointment, and when I finally do get to a chair the water is cold. Definitely no longer worth the 25min drive from the springs. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This place is terrible.... do not waste ur money.. do not waste time. I went in for pedicure, no chip manicure and an eyebrow wax. None of thier prices are listed online cause they totally will rip you off when u get there.... my 31 dollar pedicure was hands down the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. They basically rub your feet and paint them and leave all the dead skin ( which is the whole point of a pedicure) FOR 31 DOLLARS.... I waited over an hour after for my manicure with my hands soaking in cold water. When I finally decided that I would skip the manicure and eyebrow wax cause I had been waiting so longer one of the employees got extreme aggressive and yelled at me in front of other customers. Shocked by the prices, lack of professionalism and over all service. read more

This place was rude and way too over priced! I spent $31 here for a pedicure and all they did was soak my feet in cold water and put polish on it. They did not scrub off any dead skin etc...I do not live in this area and didn't have much of a choice for nails so I went but I will not go back again. read more

Worst pedicure Ever First, there is no point in making an appointment because you are going to end up waiting at least an hour if not more. You make an appointment then they take every walk-in that comes through the door, even though they are fully booked. I had an appointment and they told me to come back in a few hours. Second, the worst pedicure I ever had. They apparently have stopped using the metal foot file they only use the pumice sponge bar. I have large callouses on my feet that cause me pain, the reason I get a pedicure is to remove them. The girl who did my pedicure, basically washed my feet, spent a whole lot of time with the lotion and massage (which I could care less about) and then put one coat of polish on my toenails. And charged me full price. I do not recommend this place at all, I stopped going to them for a long time and thought I would try it again in the new location, nothing has changed. read more
