Hannah completed the worst pedicure I've ever experienced in my life! She rushed through everything and tried to paint my nails and it was broken. I politely asked her to just stop. She kept looking at the people waiting and trying to get their attention as if she did not have a customer in her chair who she should've been attending to. I normally go to Jenny and wish I would've waited for her to come back or went somewhere else altogether. Although I still paid and left a tip for the service, I would not recommend at all. This place is Mediocre at best. I needed something simple since my original nail lady was out of town. But if you want a simple gel mani/pedi then this is your spot. I noticed they have difficulties doing different shaped nails besides square. If I ever come back it will be only to do square. I wasn't very pleased. The pedicure was fine. But when it came to giving me the full set, that's where the issue started. She put three nails on crooked. She kept filing from one side which made the nails slant. I asked her to please remove the nails & redo them. I wasn't paying $50-$60 for a poor job. That's already too much. Thankfully, she did but she grazed & cut me several times. I get it. She was annoyed & bitter at being told to do it right but had she done it right or listened to me the first couple of times, there would be no need to redo it. Then it got worse. The gel color was off for some reason. Instead of being the rather light burgundy it's supposed to be, it was an ugly orangish brown color that looked gross. I tried to explain that the color wasn't how it's supposed to look but they gave me excuses & talked to me like I was stupid. I've had this color before multiple times. I go through my usual color phases which normally range from brown & red. I just wanted one of my favorite colors, DND 490 Redwood City but after the minor mishap & lack of understanding, I felt forced to choose another color. One I wasn't in the mood for but I'm familiar with & know looks good. I give 2 stars because it wasn't exactly a bad or horrible experience. It's more the dissatisfaction of not getting my favorite color that bothers me. Just left feeling unsatisfied & disappointed. But I'll try somewhere else next time. read more

I came in today to repair two acrylic nails that broke ( prior nails were done else where ) this placed happened to be close to me and I was running low on time so I popped in here, first the tech looked miserable like she absolutely hates her job! No hello no smile nothing, she rushed and anytime I examine my nail you could tell she was annoyed so I didn't say anything but just look at the glue on me and how uneven the application of powder and sanding and I have a cut under my nail I believe from the glue finally peeling back off my skin? I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years along with my sister and goddaughter. They changed owners over six months ago and unfortunately there has been a steady decline in cleanliness, sanitary conditions, customer service and quality of the work, yet the prices have continued to increase. Came in for a mani/pedi. I made an appointment with a friend to catch up since I am visiting from Los Angeles for a couple of days. My pedicure started 15 mins after hers although we made our appointment together. I literally was sitting with my feet in cold water by the time someone came to see me. We were also seated separately for our manicures and unable to enjoy the spa day together although the staff were aware. Immediately after leaving I noticed dents in the gel and chips on the tip of my nail but didn't have the time or energy to complain. The polish started lifting and peeling by day 3. I have never experienced this before. I had to go home and do another foot scrub afterwards. The polish on my toes were done well, but my feet were actually rougher after I left. I do not recommend. I've been going to this nail shop for around 3 years now and for manis, pedis and gel sculptured nails I've had pretty good experiences for the most part. We'll get to the itchy pedicures later. Two days ago I got my eyebrows waxed and an employee put wax on my eyelids and ripped a thin layer of skin off it was painful to say the least. It didn't look like it until later. However it was burning and painful. It started to swell and scab over within an hour. I went back to the shop to complain and show them my swollen and red eyebrows and I only got a sorry but no offer for a refund. It is not about the money it is the principle. They caused me pain and are still hell bent on keeping the money. This does not say they're sorry to me. This is the second time this has happened! This occurred last year and I had become picky about who could touch my eyebrows. If I go back (unlikely) only the owner will ever touch them because I'd be rolling the dice that some inexperienced nail tech would skin my eyelids again. Another thing, I get my pedis done with gel nail polish and they have been itching for the last two times. I read this could be an issue with them not curing the polish long enough and filing my nail beds down so low that the gel permeates through my nail bed and causes an allergic reaction. I have been a glutton for punishment and I think it's time for me to find a new nail spa. I tip very well and I expect good service for my money. read more

So I'm giving this place 2 stars rather than 1 star because I was seen the same day for only a simple soak off. I had done a dip powder at another nail salon which I loved but I was sick of having them because it had been over 2 weeks. The nail salon that I usually go to was booked so that's why I didn't go there. So I walk in and the lady in the front was nice and directed me to table #2. There was a young girl sitting on her phone and didn't even acknowledge me. I kindly said "Hello" and sat down. She didn't even make eye contact and just proceeded to do the dip powder removal process. Okay, fine maybe you're having a bad day. So she "finishes" and tells me to wash my hands while I still had dip powder on my nails. I asked her if I was done and she said yes. I proceeded to tell her that I still had dip powder on my nails. She huffed and puffed and continued to remove the dip powder. Long story short she didn't remove all the dip powder and I left with color on my nails. Keep in mind I just went for a simple soak off of my dip powder. If you don't want to engage in conversation and be polite, fine. But do your job! read more

You would think we lived in Beverly Hills and are getting custom made nails for the prices they charge? Literally got a pedicure and a FILL-IN and they charged me $75!!!!! WTF??? I asked why so much and they told me because I got a cut down. What????? Since when is it extra to get your nails filed for a refill? The pedicure was basic with regular nail polish couldn't be more than $25 I can't for the life of me understand why a fill in with gel polish would cost $50. Also, he did not ask what shape I wanted them in so I had to tell him I wanted round so some of the nails look square and some of them look round.
