On top of that, another technician looked at my nails and laughed with the person doing them, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. Poor quality. After trying gel nails on my toes and hands, my manicure started chipping after 4 days and peeling up from my cuticle and the gel on my toes peeled completely off 2 toes. I said no thank you, I just want a manicure with gel polish. He stood up suddenly and pushed his chair back and said "CHEAP"! He then walked away and was pacing back and forth, then got a girl to come over to do my gel polish manicure. I felt like I was way over charged the last time I went there and so I called ahead to verify price for a fill in and was told last week that it was $25 so called back and booked appointment today and verified again because that seemed a lil low. The girl put the owner/ husband on the phone because she could not understand English very well and so I explained exactly what I needed done. Pink and white fill in. He said $45 and $5 for repairs for a lost nail. I agreed and went in. At check out I was charged $65 and everyone acted like I was crazy for asking why so expensive as if no one ever spoke to me. Massage was rushed and I had to then wait on my daughter who sat next to me and we were told they would be done at the same time. Every time I go in , the price is different . They take advantage of their customers. They charged me $5 to cut down my nails , another $ 5 to take one cuticle off my thumb . If you are getting a fill in and you need to cut down your nails , it's part of the service . She applied my acrylic crooked and then blamed me for my nail growing that way . I have had all types of nail services for over 20 years . My nails have never grown in crooked anywhere else . All of my nails are shaped differently. I refuse to go back . I have worn acrylics for over 30 years. As I do from time to time, I removed my nails to give them a break. I was running errands and decided on a spur of the moment to get a full set again and decided to stop into TK Nails instead of calling and waiting for an appointment with my normal tech. What a mistake! This young man was rude and irritated at everything I said during my visit. I had asked for SNS powder French nails and it was clear he didn't want to do that. Because his English isn't good, a lot of things had to be translated with another woman. (She seemed very personable!) He got irritated when I asked for them to be trimmed a bit shorter. The powder he put on was VERY thick. He did wind up thinning them, but I had so much stuff under my nails. He didn't understand that I wanted the shape to be "squoval" - which most undestand. He seemed mad when I asked for the edge to be a bit more rounded. I had to wash my hands two times during the the visit, when every other person I've gone to has you wash your hands only once. There was so much glue and nail tip bits under my thumb, and I asked if he could clean it. Very rudely he would tell me "LATER!" When he painted the french on (instead of using the powder, but okay.....) he completed one hand and had put one very thin line on the top of the nail. I told him I wanted the white portion to be more thick and again he was very irritated. I mentioned that perhaps he should ask his customers how they want it before. It took him several tries to get one finger done. After washing my hands for the 2nd time, I noticed there was still a lot of glue under my thumb and mentioned it. He got very frustrated and starting talking to another person. At this point, I was done and just told them forget it, I just wanted to pay and get out. He was very angry and didn't want to check me out so the nice woman tried and was talking to him. Because of the language barrier, I told her that he was just rude and huffed and puffed at everything I said and questions I asked. He then went to get the manager. At this point, I told them "I just want to pay and leave." The manager came up and wanted to look at my nails. I was trying to explain that it was the one finger and she started speaking very loudly about that's just the way it was. To which I kept repeating I just want to pay and leave. I didn't want to make a scene and now they had made a scene talking very loudly. I kept repeating just let me pay and leave. And I told them I would never come back. For full context, I had gone there when they first opened several years back and they were okay. Not great, but okay. They seem to have a following, but I will never go back there again to be treated so rudely. read more

**DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASHES** Warning: Long review! The only thing I can say nice about this place is the staff is pleasant. The services are trash! I came here for lashes and a mani pedi. For the lashes I did the clusters because the extensions were ridiculously overpriced. I didn't realize until I got home that the lashes on either eye were not created the same but it was not that obvious so I let it go. I was impressed by how long they lasted (about 3 weeks) which for me has always been unheard of because my natural lashes are tiny. Then I found out why... you cannot remove them with just oil and water as normal! Mind you when I got them installed I specifically asked if they were waterproof and Kelly, the tech that did them, said no. LIES! I don't know if they make gorilla glue for lashes but I could not get them off! When I finally got them to loosen up I realized my natural lashes that barely exist were coming out attached to the clusters. So I called the salon and of course Kelly was not there so I asked for the manager. The guy that answered claimed he was the manager (I didn't buy it) but cool let's do this! He proceeds to tell me that they use a "special glue" that they have a remover for in the salon, and you guessed it.... you have to pay for the removal! TF!! This was not disclosed to me at the time of service because I would not have done it. I've never had to go back to a salon for lash removal. Needless to say I will not be returning. This post is so long already I won't even get into the half-assed mani pedi I got. I went on Amazon and found a lash extension remover that had great reviews so let's hope it works! Comment if you want me to review the mani pedi as well. But long stostory short... Don't waste your time and money here. read more

The pedicure was rushed and so was the polish. They weren't busy (not an excuse to rush), but the tech seemed like someone they hired to fill a spot. I 10000% sure shes not state certified /licensed as she was not able to complete a simple pedi. She even blamed the issue on my toenails, until a coworker came and fixed it. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a nail salon. This was my second time at this salon. The first time was mediocre. I had a Nail Tech named David. He was not very friendly at all. I went to this salon because it was close and I was going to an event. I had no intentions on ever going back. I was riding with my brother who has gotten a mani-pedi once or twice and he was in a hurry so he dropped me off to the nearest salon. I protested but was not driving so I had no choice. Believing that I would have a better experience this time I went inside. The experience was worst than the first time. I asked for a full set. Minutes later a technician ushered me to her chair. I asked about pink and white she says no problem told her that I would want oval shaped nails again she said no problem When she began to shape my nails, I looked and she was giving me pointed shaped nails. I stopped her and she said no it will have the look you want once I am finished. Me being a retired Nail Tech I knew once you start you cannot turn a pointed nail into an oval shape. Once again I was headed to an event and time was ticking away so I said to myself I will deal with it anything will look better than when I came in. Before she started the service I asked the price she said approximately $65 After the service was complete went to pay for the service. The price was $74 I asked what was the extra for she said the length. The length. What?? They were not long at all. I said what do you mean she said you have long nail. ?? I said what about my asking for oval and you gave me pointed nails. She lied and said that I changed my mind and told her that I wanted pointed. WTH are you kidding me I said So to avoid a scene I just wanted to pay and leave. i went on the pay pad where it says tip I put zero (0) My brother was paying for the service so he came inside to pay and I turned my back while he put his card in and gave me the receipt when payment was done. As we were walking out of the door I noticed that she had put a tip for $13.35 bringing the bill to a total of $87.32 I was enraged. I told my brother and I was going back in he said i paid for it don't worry about it He would not allow me to go back in. So I am doing this review to let all know that this salon has no scruples or integrity. They steal your money in subtle ways. I wish I could give this place and zero stars. I had the absolute worst experience at TK yesterday. The girl who did my pedicure and fill-in was either new or just did not know what she was doing. Both the pedicure and fill-in looked terrible when she was "done". I nicely asked her to try to fix it but She told me she could not. All I wanted was a simple fill in with French so after spending two hours there I finally said just put clear topcoat on them and I will get them fixed somewhere else tomorrow. While all of this was happening several staff members were standing around playing cards and no one came over to help or try to resolve the issue. At one point I heard the male tech say something along the lines of "she can get a new full set if she doesn't like them" and laugh. When I went to check out, I was charged $55 for the fill in, which is high anyway and told part of the charge which was $15 for applying the clear polish!!! The service was not only terrible, it was never completed properly. They were well aware that I was unhappy with the service and told me I had to pay full price anyway with out offering ANY options for a solution. I got tired of arguing and paid but I honestly feel scammed and will never ever return to this location. read more

The saving grace of one star was the beautiful personality the woman who did my nails had. I was basically "held hostage" for 3 hours there for crappy service. Completely messed my entire day up i arrived 30 min after they opened. Got put into the chair, a man asked which service I wanted, I selected one that was $45 to be able to enjoy my time, he then noticed I had gel on my toes, got up and walked away after realizing that. He sent over a woman who didn't speak English and obviously was very new to this work. I tried to tell her what service I wanted and she just ignored me and gave me the below basic service. She didn't know how to do anything not even paint my toes. Then threw one warm towel on my legs and took it off and was finished. Horrible! The polish was horrible! Had her redo it. Then, As I sat there for 15 min waiting to be moved to get my fill, it wasn't until I started packing up that they finally acknowledged me. The lady was very nice but slow! I noticed one of my toes had a spot on it and asked if she could fix it. The original girl came over and tried to just paint on top of it. When I attempted to explain you need to remove it, she took it off and then refused to polish it. Just ridiculous. I've been getting my nails done by the same women for the last 5 years but this place is right next to my job and I decided to try it even though a bit apprehensive considering I don't like changes. Well I went in and the place was very clean and pretty big. A nice man greeted me and I had made an appointment at 5:30 I did not have to wait they were right on time for me. The nice man named Andy asked me immediately if I wanted a drink they have options of coke, water, sprite, chardonnay or moscato. I obviously choice Chardonnay:) Andy was very gentle and did an amazing job. I needed a gel fill and a reshape into coffin cut. They do charge a small fee of $5 to reshape. All together my bill was $45 with 20% tip I spent $54. Higher price than my original nail salon but I found it worth the extra cash because I had no wait and ambiance was nice.
