I brought my laptop there in 2016 and even though the environment of the store was old and…read morecluttered I figured they should be able to help with my simple problem. The owner took my information down gave me a ticket in exchange for my laptop and then I never heard from them again. I visited numerous times waited outside the store called multiple times and never received a response. I was too nice and by the time I should've reported it to the police it was too late. I'm sure they're out of business now. Last time I drove by there was construction around the area.

He gave me an estimate for time and cost, and I agreed and left my computer for him to work on. He had me sign a slip describing the service he was to do, but it did not state the cost or time frame for service. The slip also stated that items not picked up within 7 days of completed service would be SOLD to cover the unpaid bill. I should have known to run at this point. I foolishly signed the thing. Les Pell was supposed to be done with my computer in a week. He wasn't. Every time I called to ask him about his progress on my computer, he would say it would be a few more days. There were also numerous times when he did not answer the phone, and his voicemail would not allow me to leave a message because the voice mailbox was full. After nearly 3 months of this charade, I told Les Pell that I wanted my computer back, and I would take it in its original condition, because I could not justify paying for his "services." He then demanded an amount of money far exceeding my estimate, even though he never recovered the data at all, or he would keep my computer and sell it to someone else. I then filed a complaint through the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs. They forwarded my complaint to Pell and then sent Pell's response to me. The response Les Pell wrote was full of lies in which he stated he called me and opened on Sunday just for me to pick up my computer. He claimed I was trying to manipulate his prices and take advantage of him the whole time. None of this is true. I was unsuccessful in my attempts to get my computer back, and I was advised that legal action would be a further waste of money. So Les Pell kept my $600 computer and I later learned that he sold it. Please learn from my grave mistake and do not do business there.

My family has bought 2 refurbished computers from this place over the years. One of them was a…read moredesktop that was perfectly fine. The other was a laptop whose hard drive died JUST over a month after I got it. I brought it back to them to get the hard drive replaced, and when I got it home I discovered that plugging in headphones would no longer turn off the speakers. Brought it back to get that fixed and then when I went to pick it up they informed me that the touch pad no longer worked, but I figured at least they had tried, and they didn't charge me even though it was technically just past the 30-day mark. When my work computer started acting up a few days ago I figured I'd take it back to them under the assumption that the laptop was a fluke. I told the guy what was wrong, told him it was an intermittent, unpredictable problem with the USB ports turning off, and ran down the list of all the things I'd done at home to try to diagnose and fix it. I'd ruled out software issues and was thinking it was the motherboard. Casually mentioned that I was kinda having a bad day because my computer had been acting up so much while I was trying to do my job. He told me I didn't know what a bad day was until I'd had his day yesterday. Talking down to the customer, awesome. He hooked my computer up, then took a phone call and spent the next several minutes on the phone, clicking randomly around the start menu and clearly not concentrating on his job. Hung up the phone and ranted to me and the other customers about his personal life. Oversharing, great. I tried to laugh it off and sympathize and not make a scene, but it was inappropriate and I was not very comfortable. At this point he poked around in the device manager, doing about 1/4 of the things I said I'd already done, and then he basically threw up his hands and said it was a software issue and I should go home and do a system restore. Not once did he open the tower or do any real diagnostics. I left the store doubting myself, but I decided to visit the other repair shop in town for a second opinion just in case. I told the folks there what was happening, and they opened the case and immediately saw what the problem was - a weak/small power supply that was failing. Needless to say, I went ahead and had THEM rebuild my computer for me. Won't go back to Windudes again after this; they're supposed to be the professionals and they clearly don't seem to know any more about computers than I do.

I have a very bad experience with my recent visit to this Best Buy - Warner Robins store location…read more Here's why: Last week I dropped off my gaming computer to have it serviced due to a power supply that went out. So after received an email stating that my gaming computer was ready to be picked up I arrived the gentleman at the Geek Squad stated I did not owe a balance for anything I repeated myself three different times and the gentleman said I did not OWE anything due to me being a total protect member. After leaving the store I received a phone call with voice mail a gentleman stating I did owe a balance he forgot to tell the gentleman I owed a balance. I do NOT think this is right to have me come back to the store when the other gentleman stated I did not OWE anything since being a total protect member. To me, This is not a good way to represent a multi million dollar company and how they handle their business with customers. Bad practice it seems like to me.

First, I never saw nor was spoken to by someone who worked there. Maybe they were shorthanded. Maybe people didn't show up when they were scheduled. But whatever the reason, I literally couldn't find any help. Second, the open box section of TVs is an absolute mess. There is essentially no organization to it and nothing was labeled so I had no clue how much stuff cost. I would have asked someone, but yeah, I couldn't find any help. This was frustrating as I was looking to buy a TV that day. Ultimately, it was a very disappointing visit and I left without buying a TV. I feel like there is great room for improvement. I won't return unless I absolutely have to.
