My family has bought 2 refurbished computers from this place over the years. One of them was a…read moredesktop that was perfectly fine. The other was a laptop whose hard drive died JUST over a month after I got it. I brought it back to them to get the hard drive replaced, and when I got it home I discovered that plugging in headphones would no longer turn off the speakers. Brought it back to get that fixed and then when I went to pick it up they informed me that the touch pad no longer worked, but I figured at least they had tried, and they didn't charge me even though it was technically just past the 30-day mark. When my work computer started acting up a few days ago I figured I'd take it back to them under the assumption that the laptop was a fluke. I told the guy what was wrong, told him it was an intermittent, unpredictable problem with the USB ports turning off, and ran down the list of all the things I'd done at home to try to diagnose and fix it. I'd ruled out software issues and was thinking it was the motherboard. Casually mentioned that I was kinda having a bad day because my computer had been acting up so much while I was trying to do my job. He told me I didn't know what a bad day was until I'd had his day yesterday. Talking down to the customer, awesome. He hooked my computer up, then took a phone call and spent the next several minutes on the phone, clicking randomly around the start menu and clearly not concentrating on his job. Hung up the phone and ranted to me and the other customers about his personal life. Oversharing, great. I tried to laugh it off and sympathize and not make a scene, but it was inappropriate and I was not very comfortable. At this point he poked around in the device manager, doing about 1/4 of the things I said I'd already done, and then he basically threw up his hands and said it was a software issue and I should go home and do a system restore. Not once did he open the tower or do any real diagnostics. I left the store doubting myself, but I decided to visit the other repair shop in town for a second opinion just in case. I told the folks there what was happening, and they opened the case and immediately saw what the problem was - a weak/small power supply that was failing. Needless to say, I went ahead and had THEM rebuild my computer for me. Won't go back to Windudes again after this; they're supposed to be the professionals and they clearly don't seem to know any more about computers than I do.

I don't know if it is just because it's not my local store, but it seemed so confusing?! So the thing I wanted, DVDs were literally all over the place. I found a rack in one area, a rack in another area, a third rack, and then I went to the back corner of the store and found some there too. I don't know why everything was so apart from one another. Was very confusing Another thing is that they had big bins out prepping for Black Friday which is great! But they took up half of the aisle. I can't imagine what that's going to be like on Friday when all of those mom's and guys looking for Playstations barrel though. I didn't like the set up at all. I did find a few movies to buy. The girl at the check out was super friendly. And did tell me they'd be open at 5am for Black Friday. Yikes, I thought. I'll definitely be in bed. But if that's your thing you'll now know the time. I'd probably stay shopping online instead of going to this location. They layout is too confusing.

I have a very bad experience with my recent visit to this Best Buy - Warner Robins store location…read more Here's why: Last week I dropped off my gaming computer to have it serviced due to a power supply that went out. So after received an email stating that my gaming computer was ready to be picked up I arrived the gentleman at the Geek Squad stated I did not owe a balance for anything I repeated myself three different times and the gentleman said I did not OWE anything due to me being a total protect member. After leaving the store I received a phone call with voice mail a gentleman stating I did owe a balance he forgot to tell the gentleman I owed a balance. I do NOT think this is right to have me come back to the store when the other gentleman stated I did not OWE anything since being a total protect member. To me, This is not a good way to represent a multi million dollar company and how they handle their business with customers. Bad practice it seems like to me.
