I really don't like having to do this but the owner of this business has given me no other choice. I left my laptop with him on May 5, 2025 and as of today, May 28th, 2025, I have not heard a word from him. I have gone by there twice and the doors are locked. I've called and left numerous messages and have left my name and number with the people at the State Farm Insurance Company to please call me if he shows up. I've also sent emails to him to please let me know what is going on with my computer but so far nothing. And I mean NOTHING! No response from him at all, so I have just filed a police report regarding this situation. I really hate having to do something like this but when they won't even try to contact you after numerous attempts to find out what is going on, he gave me no other choice. Will pray for this person. I'll be very honest I am very picky on who touches my computer cause I have a lot of money tied up in this custom gaming computer. I had the gentleman at Jbodtech Computer Services yesterday install a Corsair Hue+ with RGB lighting and he took his time with the install making sure nothing goes wrong during the install and running. He also updated my bios to the newer bios update for my MSI X99A Godlike motherboard. The gentleman was very nice, friendly and also talkative. It's hard to find someone that will be honest with the customer and also talk to you while you have questions or wanting something done to your desktop or laptop. The location is very convenient and easy access to get to plenty of parking. They are located next door to Ken's audio, State Farm and Progressive. Absolutely the worst customer service, and the tech support was incompetent. He lied about my hard drive being fried, and put just little bits and pieces that were useless onto my new computer. I ended up having to hire another IT guy to come and undo everything this company had done and start over. Luckily the new guy was able to save EVERYTHING off of my had drive and install it on my new computer. I can't figure out what this jbodtechs end game was. Why lie to me and tell me my hard drive was totally fried? I even told him i had an external backup and would he please use that to transfer to my new computer. He told me he was too busy, that i had all i was going to get. Really? You had my old computer and i went and got a new computer to bring to him and for 2 days all i basically got from this guy was a bill for nothing. The worst Ever! read more

The RAM on my 2011 Mac Book went bad so I bought a new laptop and paid another computer service to transfer the data. They were only able to recover a tiny fraction of my Word files, so I brought both laptops to Jbodtech to see if they could do any better. They were able to recover all of my Word files and transfer them to the new machine. The technician that I spoke to was very courteous and worked with me to restore my data, and at a very reasonable $75 too. I would definitely recommend. read more

I have not used JBODTECH for a while now. The last time I used them was to replace a hard drive in a laptop. I was promised my files would be saved and they were. But when they tried to jack the price for the work from 100. to 300.I balked then it was reduced it to 150. when I complained, all my files conveniently disappeared and I got back a laptop devoid of any files except the windows operating system. I would never use them again. I did like John, the part owner, if he ever goes out on his own I would use him, as he honored his promise however the other owner did not. read more

I got a new laptop and my Google went wacky. Tried to fix it myself but I was struggling around the new windows format. Dropped it off and it was the best money ever spent! ------ fixed the bug, installed some free virus protection and had it back to me same day. He even got rid of the pesky new windows page- so my laptop starts up right at my good old-fashioned desktop format I'm used to, just because I had mentioned I was struggling with it the new windows changes. That's just good darn down home great customer service. I was only charged for an hour, which was way more than fair. I'd recommend them highly to anyone!!!!!! read more

Please stay away. I have been trying to request a port transfer in order to hire a new VOIP service provider because their service is terrible and I have lost thousands of dollars in business because of them. The owner harassed me on the phone asking me why I want to "start trouble" when I told him I was going to place a complaint against him and a negative review. Short story is, their service is terrible and you will lose money if you are company due to dropped calls and many other basic problems. The owner refuses to work with the new provider or to complete the port transfer request. He is offensive and harasses without end when you point out that his service is bad and that you want a new provider. It's like a nightmare. The most unprofessional service ever. read more

Well I had my computer worked on here. Got a new screen put on my computer. I took it back one day after the warranty expired and they said they'll look at it. It turns out that the new monitor they put it wasn't compatible with my computer in the first place. The computer was sending too much power to the monitor and cause the monitor to pixalate on the bottom half of the screen. I was told I would have to order a new part and they will install it. I already paid 100$ for the wrong part, so now I would be looking at the price of a new computer just to get the right part. I say if you want the job done and done right the first time without costing an arm and a leg...GO ELSEWHERE. read more
