I usually get nails done on special occasions and this one was literally my favorite nails salon visit ever. The staff here is family and they have amazing service. They offered me noodles and tea which was a great additional aspect of the service. Coming to the work, there manicure and pedicure is so perfect that they follow all the steps accurately and the customer is left with amazing look. I wish they had a salon in the US too. I would definitely get my manicure and pedicure done from them again on my next visit to Victoria. It's literally the best Nail Salon!!!

It was very strange - as if she was afraid to touch my feet. I ended up having to cut and file my nails the next day. She commented several times she only works there one day a week and perhaps that should have been my first clue! She worked as if she'd never done a pedicure before. My daughter said her service was similar. There was a regular customer in at the same time with the owner. Both were friendly but soooo loud. It was odd for a day spa for it to be so noisy. Again the experience was kind of strange. We wouldn't go back. There was no malice or pain involved (thankfully), but the quality of the work was really low. And it was far more expensive than the place we usually go (the pedicure was $65 to start with plus a tip which I felt compelled to give). Both of them were very lovely people, but the pedicures were of poor quality. We don't recommend the services here.

They genuinely care about their clients and are hilarious to talk to, which is something I really enjoy when I'm getting my nails done. I have never ever been disappointed by the service here, and they do such a great job with your nails. My friend came in once and got her nails done by a trainee and didn't like her nails, so Cody had her come in and re-did her nails for free, which I thought was awesome of him! They are always getting new colours in to add to their impressive selection, which is exciting because every time I visit there are always new colours to pick from. Also, let me rave about their massage chairs for a second because boy, are they comfy! I've almost fallen asleep in them a couple times while getting pedicures. Since it is located in a small plaza there is a lot of parking around. I'm sad I don't live on the island anymore because it's been hard to find a nail salon that I enjoy as much as C&H! I asked just for a manicure & she kept on saying deluxe & gel, and could barely understand her because she had a hard time with English. She wanted to charge me more, and I heard other workers trying to do the same thing to other people. I said no, just regular manicure. She didn't take off all my old gel polish. She then had me put one hand in the manicure bowl that had cold water with nothing in it. I literally just finished putting it in, and she pulled it out to start cutting cuticles. She finished cutting the one had that was less than 2 minutes, and then did the other. She then made me get up to wash my hands after cutting off the cuticle, which she only spent less than 5 minutes on. Usually places have a damp clothes and do it for you. My nails looked like what they would if I did it myself at home, barely took off any cuticles & my nails feel like when you break a nail. Once I sat back down, she said choose nail polish. I got up & was looking around for a box with all the colors displayed. I had no clue where they were. She then just pointed and yelled, "There." It was just where all the nail polish are kept up with numbers on them. She rushed me to choose a color, then yelled and asked for me to bring it to her. She then put the clear on. It was still wet, and then she put on other nail polish. She then pointed at the place to dry them. I was wainting for her to turn them on, and she then yelled and turned it on for me. She then put the top coat but missed some parts of my nails. Picture was taken when I got home 30 minutes after.

I walked in and luckily did not need to wait, and noted that all the nail techs had customers either getting their hands done or seated at the pedicure tubs. The woman that did my feet did not talk at all to me except to ask what color I wanted, and was extremely rough! I had to ask four different times for her to be more gentle. I am not that sensitive to the "normal" levels of discomfort one might have if they have cuticles trimmed/callouses sloughed off. The lack of any care given whatsoever to my requests was frustrating, and barely acknowledged. I gave up towards the end of the pedicure when she transitioned to painting my toes. My big toe on my right foot was hurting immediately afterwards, and it wasn't until I got home but I noticed a cut in the left corner of that toe. The polish itself looks nice, but the fact that she was so rough that she cut into my skin deep enough to require me applying Polysporin every day since is not OK. Due to the pain and discomfort and all-around lack of professionalism I had been treated to I called the salon near the end of day Monday to advise the owner/manager of my experience. The woman who answered the phone said that he wasn't there, but that I could tell her what happened and she would let him know. I stated that my toe is still extremely painful, and despite me requesting the nail tech to be more careful and less rough, I ended up with a slice on the end of my toe just under the nail. She certainly did not seem interested and did not ask for my contact information. I provided it anyway and asked for a callback. I understand the logistics of getting customers in and out quickly, but at some point there needs to be someone mandating professionalism, ethics and processes to follow when a customer ends up with a cut due to employee negligence. If I thought it was innocently done I'd have less concern. She did NOT care and made no effort whatsoever. It is now Wednesday and I have not heard from anyone despite leaving my name and phone number. I am still treating my toe with Polysporin as it is still an issue. The pain isn't as bad as Sun/Mon, I guess it's closing up. And have sidestepped infection hopefully. I am beyond not impressed, and I will never go back.

By the end of my appointment, three of my cuticles were bleeding, one nail has already fallen off…read moreafter only two weeks, and I was charged $90 for it. Two different technicians (Tiffany and Lavender) worked on my nails, and the service felt careless. They noticed my cuticles bleeding and simply wiped the blood away with their finger. The UV curing process was so painful I had to pull my hand out, and instead of warning me or adjusting, I was just told to "press my fingers down on the table and put them back in." I asked for a deep maroon red with no sparkle. They said they didn't have the color and would "make it," instead of letting me choose a different shade. The result wasn't the color I wanted, and sparkle was added anyway, despite me asking multiple times not to have it. The flower design I wanted wasn't done as requested, one French tip was smudged, and several nails had visible bubbles under the gel. For $90 (without tip), I expected quality and care. While the technicians were polite, the actual service was very poor, and I would not return or recommend this salon.

Now to my pedicure---what a hoot!!!---the lovely lady (I did not get her name and she didn't speak english) who did them set the massage chair to just the right setting (I sat and giggled and purred throughout the whole procedure)---she cheese grated my callouses off my soles--- massaged my feet using reflexology techniques---put schmeer on my legs and feet to made them smooth and moisturized---this is what heaven feels like!
