I have been going to Classic Nails for a few years, mostly with a friend. The pedicures have been great. I don't get manicures often and especially don't get gels after experiencing the damage to my nails from gels (all salons, not just Classic). Today I got a French manicure with regular polish - excellent! I also got a pedicure but didn't renew my polish as I had left the last polish on too long and my nails were not in great condition. I got the Envy finish to help them revive and will start getting polish again in a month. This salon has a lot of technician changes but I have had very few problems. I always go here. I recommend making appointment rather than walk in. I typically get gel polish on hands and am never disappointed. I like it here because it busy and a good atmosphere. They all work very well hard. read more

Booked for 3 people. my daughter received a technician that used a Dremel to remove her gel ... standard. Her full pedicure took 60 minutes standard My daughter inlaw and I were done in just under 40 minutes. the young guy didn't know how to remove gel polish... had to tell him 4 different times that the gel is not removed. He dropped the light lamp on the nail which he had to redo. I got for the foot massage snd both of us didn't get a proper one nor did we get asked about temperature of water and towels ... I didn't want to go to a mall because I didn't want poor service. Well got it here. Upon tipping 15 percent None of the staff said thank you or any comment about hope to see you again. I was home for the weekend from Vancouver and needed a quick color change since my nails were in need of some TLC. I definitely do not recommend going here as the guy who was taking off my gel color did not even look at my nails when he was filing off the polish and got my actual fingers three times. He shaped it so poorly, I asked for oval and what I got was square, circle, squoval, and every other shape you can think of. When I quickly asked to run to the washroom after he had death shaped my nails I heard him saying that my nails were taking too long in Vietnamese. I have been to this nail salon before and never had an issue as they were always done well. However, this time I came in, I was passed on to a new nail tech 3 times and had to wait 15 minutes after the second switch. I was fine with waiting but constantly switching to a new person started to get on my nerves as I was not informed of it occurring. I was also rushed to pick a colour in the beginning, so I asked to change my choice before it was put on. The men were also not friendly at all and the atmosphere feels like customers are cattle. I had the deluxe pedicure and it was excellent. Technician gave a nice long massage, plus they have massage chairs for all customers. The shellac lasted 7 weeks which is pretty good for someone who swims, runs a lot. The deluxe ped included a hot stone massage and paraffin wax bag. Really great place. My sister and I took my mom here for pedicures as part of her bday present. I had booked an apt for 3pm for 3 pedicures and requested we sit together. We finally got in at 3:18 for our service. My sister asked the lady if there was time for them to also do a manicure which she responded "Yes". The lady came and started her manicure, but after about 5 minutes the salon got busy and the lady left and started doing someone else's nails. There was zero communication or apology for leaving. This was so incredibly unprofessional and would not come back or recommend this salon to others. read more

I got a shellac pedicure last weekend and I thought they did a good job until I took a closer look when I got home and realized that they didn't mix the color properly. I sent them a message on Facebook to see if they would be willing to rectify it but after a few days they still haven't replied. I would not recommend going here based on my experience. read more

The Salon is quite busy. They did a good job on my nails but I was disturbed to hear the nail tech beside me telling her customer that she was un-vaccinated. She hadn't had any shots and didn't think she would get any. She was wearing a mask as we are in very close proximity of one another but there was a young (12?) girl on the other side of her, who was probably too young to be vaccinated. I got my first shellac manicure because it is suppose to last longer then regular polish. It didn't even make it a week before it started pealing! I don't know if that's their fault or not, but still very disappointing. That being said the actual manicure and pedicure were good! The service was friendly and professional. For the pedicure you sit in a massage chair! I wish the manicure was a little more pampered, a hand/arm massage would have been nice. read more

Eyelash extensions done by Mimi. I got a full set. She used too much glue, and did not separate my eyelashes one by one. She used terrible quality lashes, they were thick and plasticky! After two weeks I had them removed by another lash technician and my eyelashes were completely ruined, short and weak. The service was 100 for a full set, which were bad quality and left my lashes ruined. Do not recommend. read more

i arrived at my appointment 5 minutes early and i could tell they were over booked because it was crowded and they sat me down 25 minutes after my set appointment which was frustrating. i don't write reviews ever but this salon deserves one. wait time aside, this is the nicest nail place i've ever been to. the lady doing my acrylics was adorable and she didn't talk to me too much or too little and everything she said was friendly. she listened to what i wanted and delivered. i am EXTREMELY happy with my nails and i'll definitely go back!!! read more

This has been a family favorite for years, they always do great work, are CLEAN inside (facilities and tools) and are a reasonable price. I saw that some people had issues with quality... I'd suggest bringing it to the attention of the owner/tech, they are always cheerful and happy to redo anything that doesn't meet your standards. read more

I had a 4:00 appointment the night before flight out the next day for a weekend of sun and fun. The Technician was about 12 minutes late - no big deal. The big deal was the filthy station; it was littered with a full day's dead skin and nail clippings. The floor crunched when walking near the chair. It was dirty! I saw the previous client leave and asked the technician if she was going to clean the station: the chair, the foot rest, the sink. She pointed for me to sit and put a plastic bag in the sink basin and told me that she'd put a towel on the foot rest. Yikes. I have never left an appointment but I did not want an infection. Disappointed in the sanitation and disappointed that I don't get to have nice clean feet for my mini vacation. read more

Irene was awesome! I had a terrible set of acrylics I got downtown, the what seemed to be the manager told me a fill wouldn't save them, and I should probably have them removed and start a new set. Irene took over and gave me a new set, no crooked nails, and when i asked for the nails to be thin, she did just that! Polish looks awesome and we gave me perfect nails! Will be going back read more

I've had regular pedicures and manicures as well as shellac manicures. All excellent, with super friendly staff. My shellac manicure lasted 3 weeks and I probably could have squeezed a couple more days out if it. Massages, hot towels.. excellent! read more

I had a manicure and gel polish. The polish started chipping two days after I had it done and I was travelling so couldn't get it removed. It was very annoying. At about one week the gel polish completely separated from my nails. I've never had this happen with gel and I would NOT recommend this place! read more
