Then halfway through my manicure, they asked me to move to a different station because they had 3 people who wanted to sit in 3 adjacent seats. I thought maybe these 3 were walk-in clients, but no -- they were booked in. Strange that the employees couldn't plan ahead so that I didn't have to move half-way through my service. I didn't stay to let my nails dry completely (some drying drops would have been helpful) because the place was cold and uncomfortable. The manicurist seemed very nice but she didn't speak English, so we couldn't communicate. The place also didn't seem very clean. The manicure table was either dirty or very stained, and the bins containing the tools didn't look like they were ever washed. Only the kind manicurist saved this from being a one-star review.

I usually get nails done on special occasions and this one was literally my favorite nails salon visit ever. The staff here is family and they have amazing service. They offered me noodles and tea which was a great additional aspect of the service. Coming to the work, there manicure and pedicure is so perfect that they follow all the steps accurately and the customer is left with amazing look. I wish they had a salon in the US too. They were both amazing! Cadence was so nice & friendly, we chatted during the massage. She really got in there and helped relieve the tension in my neck/back area where I wanted her to focus on. It felt soooo good! I really appreciated that she asked me if I wanted more or less pressure and what areas to focus on. She was fantastic! I highly recommend Cadence for a great massage. I had a 30-min break in between treatments so I sat in the lounge and had hot tea and snacks. I was so relaxed and felt so pampered. Then Karla came to get me for the Fire & Ice treatment. She first scrubbed my whole body to get rid of dead skin, she wrapped me up like a cocoon, she used hot stones, she gave me the best facial that I ever had (I had many in the past), using cool gels and a couple of cool & tightening masks, she checked my pores, she put this thick gel in my hair and scrubbed/massaged my scalp. OMG! I was in heaven! Everything felt soooo good! This was hands down the BEST spa treatment that I have ever had. I just recommended it to a close friend in Seattle and she just booked a trip to Victoria just to get that treatment.
