Harpers is a rare gem to have in this area, and we're lucky to have them. The staff are all very fashion-forward, and are all more than capable to send you on your way looking sharper than when you came in. The store itself is very upscale, and feels like a place you'd find on Savile Row (without the Savile Row prices.) Really great seasonal selections, with a lot of well-curated accessories available. Their custom garments are where they really shine however. With hundreds of fabrics, linings, buttons, and styles to choose from, it is always a joy creating something that is uniquely yours. I'm looking forward to my next custom piece.

Unfortunately, the employee had a bad attitude and acted like it was a huge burden to set up the tailoring (and he wasn't even the one doing the alterations!). My husband and I just found out we had a silent miscarriage. We needed some supplies to prepare for our baby to pass through me when the time was ready so we went to this particular Dollar Tree. I had my 2-year-old with me who is currently potty training and he announced he needed to "poo poo." At the same time, I felt some bloody tissue pass through me, so we were both in need of a bathroom as soon as possible. I walked up to the checkout counter and explained our situation, but she responded with, "You'd have to ask our manager since we don't have a customer bathroom. She might be in the office over there." I knocked on the office door and explained my situation to her as well. Her response was a loud, "No, no, no, no customers are allowed." So I asked what I'm suppose to do if my son accidentally poops in their store and for my situation. She very quickly said, "Then I'll call the cops! If you do this on the floor I'll call the cops!" I think she saw that I was taken aback from her threat so she changed course and said, "The toilet's broken." At this point I probably should've just left, but I was so confused and wanted answers so I asked, "Then where do you and your employees go? Please I can do it in a bag if I have to. We just need somewhere private." She kept saying something like, "You can only pee in there, it won't flush anything else. It won't flush yours. You can go to Walmart. Just go to Walmart!" I left after that and was able to do and get what I needed to get through the rest of the day. There were many witnesses of this incident who I'm sure heard the whole conversation since the manager's office is right next to the cashier and checkout lines. My review here is not necessarily for the products or how the store is run, but for the utter lack of human kindness in a time that I specifically needed help. And the person who had the authority to open a bathroom door, not only actively refused and declined to help, but threatened to call the police on us. Perhaps I was being too entitled to ask to use a bathroom that was for employees only and hoping they'd make an exception for our specific case, or my questioning of her came off as disrespecting her authority so she came back strong and very defensively. In the end, we were able to make it to Walmart with minimal consequences for my son and for me. We'll never be coming back to this Dollar Tree again so long as that manager works there.

Like Dick's, the associates were helpful, generally, within the limit of what their store can provide and how they have been trained. They have some interesting crap, err, discount merchandise, that could be stocking stuffers or such. But, when at the cashier, the second thing out of your mouth is 'email', then you lose me right there, and for good. You don't need my email to give me a good and fair price.

Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

However, I recently made purchases that earned me $60.00 in Kohls cash. Previously you were able to use the cash 10 days after the expiration. My expiration date was 6/29/25. On the morning of 6/30/25 I tried to order $90.00 worth of rugs using my earned cash and was told I couldn't use it because they changed the policy. I plan to return all items, buy them again during Kohls cash days, get my rugs and cut up that card and never shop there again. I won't be surprised if they go out of business. Their customer service and Kohls cash policies are not helping them get business.
