The products are okay in this store, but their curation is poorly done. The ethos is purely…read moreneoliberal (i.e. "buy this rug and someone can go to school"). There is little evidence of meaningful impact. The employees will troll after you breathing down your neck, which makes it not very fun to visit. The worst part is the way these people treat animals. They frequently have llamas and alpacas in their parking lot as entertainment. It is inhumane. They leave two poor creatures out on the pavement as entertainment for children. It's truly shameful. In general this place is all capitalism with no style/class. You won't find anything decent here in any arena. It's also horribly overpriced as proven by their frequent blowout sales.

Apparently our sales associate had accidently selected the wrong color for our couches originally, because their systems are a mess(we checked over the order form at the time, twice, but it did not specifically list the color, which is a ridiculous thing), so we quickly contacted them about the mistake after they were delivered. We were told it was not an unusual occurrence and that they would have them switched in a week and a half. This was very upsetting because we only went with them originally because they offered faster delivery than a different, cheaper, place. After us pushing, they got it bumped up a couple of days, but they certainly were not putting in any extra effort to try to make things right on their own. Us having to take more time off of work, for a second delivery, a week later, because of their mistake, should be a time when they apologize profusely, but they absolutely did not. When they finally got there, to deliver the correct color couches, the delivery guy realizes that one was extremely damaged, so then we were stuck waiting even longer and needing to take more time off, to finally get the right couch. When contacting customer service, they have been nothing but rude and incompetent. Another reviewer absolutely nailed it in saying that they treat you like a nuisance. We were told that they could not do a thing until the right couches were delivered, but even after they were finally delivered, over 3 weeks ago, they have been fully dodging and ignoring our calls(which they told us to make to them, so they could "make it right"). I wanted to love this store and had such high hopes, but this process was completely horrible and they have not offered us anything for the trouble, not so much as compassion. I would also suggest avoiding their outlet items even more because we were told to go ahead and use the wrong couches the whole time they were left at our house. We did not, but I'm sure other people do, with much less regard for them, than they would have for things they would be keeping.

The customers in front of me, well, 3 calls to the manager to try to peel 20 cents off items, and to ask long questions about receipts and returns. But after helping, the manager looked at the line of waiting customers, turned on his heel, and ran to the back! My cashier took a break to sip her drink for a minute or two before helping me. It must be boring to work in a store like this with no windows; Probably low pay, so motivation might not be there, and the low prices keep people coming back, but seriously! So Urban Outfitters has finally made its way to State College. Located right in the heart of…read moredowntown State College is where you can find a haven for college kids. This Urban is pretty much the same cookie cutter layout that you'd find in any major city or mall. The store itself is split into two floors, with the first floor dedicated to women, and the second floor to men and other misc items. Traffic throughout the store isn't too bad throughout the week, as students are scattered around downtown and campus so there isn't really ever a line here. As far as the selection goes, it pretty much has everything you'd find at a full-fledged Urban Outfitters. From shoes, to random books, to clothes, you'll find them all over at Urban. This place is great for the college student who's on a budget, but on the downside, the quality of the clothing and other things sold here is mediocre. For an older individual who wants more quality items, you probably would want to shy away from Urban. Just come here to buy a t-shirt for $20, and if it rips after 5x of wear, then oh well!

We stood around for 10 minutes and nobody appeared so finally we asked another employee to please find somebody and a woman appeared to help us. We ordering the appliance and paid for delivery and installation. The delivery people brought the wrong dryer drove away and two hours later called me to tell me that it was the wrong dryer. They came back, switched dryers and would not install it properly. It is the last appliance I buy at Lowe's!

However, I recently made purchases that earned me $60.00 in Kohls cash. Previously you were able to use the cash 10 days after the expiration. My expiration date was 6/29/25. On the morning of 6/30/25 I tried to order $90.00 worth of rugs using my earned cash and was told I couldn't use it because they changed the policy. I plan to return all items, buy them again during Kohls cash days, get my rugs and cut up that card and never shop there again. I won't be surprised if they go out of business. Their customer service and Kohls cash policies are not helping them get business.

My husband can never pass up the change to check out a book store so we stopped in and were greeted by a friendly cashier and quite a large selection of books. Very clean and bright, its a quiet but quaint store that offers best sellers, value books, and a surprising amount of Japanese/high quality notebooks, stationary and pens. I did hear several people asking about what books they carried and the cashier was able to pull books for them or offer let them know when the book was in stock so I imagine they're still getting a feel for what stock to carry. I picked up 2 books from the recommended wall that piqued my interest and look foreword to reading them. Price wise they sell for retail price so on par with the big box stores, so I'd rather support a small business. Its also eerily quiet inside so I'd like some soft background music otherwise I was able to hear every conversation around me. Other than that its a cute small book store in the heart of state college. A nice addition I look forward to visiting on our next trip up
